The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Burnsville, MN is undergoing renovation. It was not up to Marriott standards mainly because of the renovation. Rooms were clean, elevator did not work, and breakfast was not up to my kind of breakfast.

I have been traveling to Minnesota once a month and most of the hotels has something bad but I can say that this one is really nice clean and comfortable friendly staff I really recommend.

Stayed with a family of 5 for 4 nights. Rooms are clean and in good condition. This property is well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the pool/Fitness Center were in great shape. Breakfast was great, a good choice of cereals, eggs, meats and of course the Malted Waffle machine. Staff were always friendly and attentive. This property is a quick 10 minute drive from MOA and the Airport. We will be back.

I have stayed here many times, everytime the same excellent service. Our room was very clean.
The heating and cooling unit was recently updated with a nice efficient quiet unit. The person who checked me in was very personalble, which is very hard to get anymore. I highly recommend this property. There is a very popular pancake place just across the street. It feels good to finally write a good reveiw.

We had a very nice stay at this Fairfield. Some previous reviews were negative because of the remodeling going on. We were on the 3rd floor in rooms that have been completed. Rooms were nice, good breakfast & front desk staff friendly & helpful with local area information. Location was a short drive to outlet mall & the zoo.

Staff welcoming, common areas and room were clean and updated. Updates still in progress. Took one point off for cleanliness, the filter in our AC must have been plugged as room smelled very musty. Weather was cool enough to be able to open the windows.

Even though the property was under renovation things like trim weren’t completed it was still a lovely stay. I was surprised to see our room was equipped with a fridge and microwave considering it wasn’t listed.

Breakfast was poor, cereal tasted old, orange juice tasted like old water. Waffles were frozen and no fresh mix. pool water looked dirty and carpets and walls were dirty. Room was OK.

Rooms on the 2nd floor are newly renovated. The entire room including bathrooms. They are very nice. showers are amazing and nice hot water.
TV in room is nice and big with great picture. Pillows were cushy and mattress pretty good too. Breakfast was ok not a whole lot of options.
Pool is smaller but good. Hot tub was nice and hot.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! The place is a mess they are under construction and walls aren’t finished there are furniture sitting in the halls leaves you like a 2 foot pass way. It’s dirty from the construction. The room was almost finished the outlets didn’t have covers the floor seemed to have not been cleaned. The beds were ok. Honestly if they are under construction they should just close for some time and finish things the right way. Very disappointing hotel

It was a good stay. However it was under a reconstruction that we weren't aware of and was a bit dirty. Breakfast wasn't the best, mostly things you can buy at Wal-Mart and warm in the microwave.

This hotel was under serious renovations and so many things were not as they should be. There was a lot of sound in the day as well so couldn't work in the lobby. But the worst part was the hotel employee called the day before and asked me to CANCEL because of the renovations. Our whole team was booked there so I didn't want to cancel but really wish I had. He did say he would give me the same low rate and put me in Hampton Inn right nearby. Wish I had done that in retrospect. This is NOT UP TO THE MARRIOTT NAME OR STANDARD OF HOTEL. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BRAND AND WILL NOT STAY IN A FAIRFIELD INN AGAIN!
