Great location, close to the lookout, walkable to shops/dining & very peaceful. Modern facilities.

The cleaners that were there every day were so friendly and helpful, on the day we were leaving one of them came to our need very early in the morning to drive us down to the railway station to get on our train cause we couldn’t get there otherwise. Thankyou Michelle it meant a lot.

Arrived at motel went to book in and the manager had parked in our bay, we were told he would move his vehicle but this did not happen until after we unpacked our car. Found the entrance to be very dangerous (being on the hilltop), Room was very small, had no air vent in toilet/shower.

the staff extremely helpful unfortunately the BBQ was not working due to vandalism by guests would definitely stay again thanks to Andrea who went out of her way to assist

The staff from cleaners to manager were always very helpful and cheerful , nothing was to much trouble. The room was excellent new fittings from bed to shower I would stay there again with out any hesitation . The food was of the highest standard and served very quickly by excellent waitress always with a smile

Clean renovated room on a hilltop but a bit far from the centre of town to easily walk.

Nice hotel, room nice and clean. Position very good.

A nice place to stay at but make sure to bring your own cutlery and crockery as they are not provided. Swimming pool needs some work but ok for a quick dip.

Some issues with invoicing but was all sorted out easily.

Property was clean, quiet and easy to get to restaurants and tourist attractions, downside room quite small.

Have stayed at Hilltop Motel many times. Great pool and relax area. Great rear grass SUNSET VIEW area. And restaurant one of best in Broken Hill.

Pretty boring location a long way out of town. Tiny room. Staff disinterested.

This motel ticked all the boxes for us. It was clean, modern and although small room was well laid out to make the room very comfortable.

Excellent: restaurant, room quality and facilities, plenty of lighting, staff service at the start was very good. Poor: while we were at the hotel, the hot water systems were being replaced. We weren't warned of this, and water pressure was very low sometimes. And the workers were very noisy until late, started early and blocked access.

Liked the updated unit. Didn’t like the way the fridge door rubbed on carpet. No basic cutlery or crockery ie breakfast bowls, knife fork spoon, bread board. Didn’t like non swivling tap in sink. Space in shower toilet area bare minimal. Only one towel hook. Bath mat gets wet due to lack of space between shower and toilet. We understand that the renovations have been restricted by the building’s original architecture. The location is good car parking spaces either side of our unit don’t really work. Once again space restriction. On a positive note we were very impressed with the managers flexibility in waiting back for us on public holiday.

The ceiling paint was peeling and hanging lose . There were german cockroch. When I booked in the the receptionist thought it unnecessary to greet me smile or even look at me.

The people were nice and friendly but the room lacked basic things like a table or desk and seating. There was no room clock or radio. The shower didnt drain properly so you walked water around the room. They had an extra single bed in the room which made the room very small to move around. There were no bowls or cutlery. It was almost like they didnt want you to eat in your room. When i asked about the lack of table or desk they said its ordered but because of covid they didnt have it yet. They did let me grab a table and chair from outside to put in the room but like i said with that extra bed it made the room tiny and hard to move around. The poor lady had to covid isolate as well so their restaurant was closed for half my stay. I probably wont stay there again but the staff were really nice when it came to interactions. One time when i went out i came back to a cleaned room but there were clay shoeprints around the carpet and kitchen bathroom area. The changed sheets had some clay marks too, the sheets were not changed for the last 4 days i overheard one of the cleaners say their driers were broke again. Amazingly they said my room was an upgrade, i dread to think what the original room would have looked like. The rooms didnt have much in the way of noise cancelling every night i could everything going on on both sides of me,making me paranoid to use the TV in case i disturbed others.Im coming back to Broken Hill at Christmas so i will look at other places to stay

Very happy with last minute booking. Very comfortable. Parking space was too small on far side of motel.

One night stay only … the refurbishment was well done and room service dinner was verynice

Nice motel Friendly and helpful staff .Stayed before like 20 years ago . two chairs in room would be nice ,But fixed that by using an outdoor chair as well . Currently doing renovations will look great with new doors and windows outside , Swimming pool was nice considering very hot when there
