This was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to, upon check-in we found our room dirty. The toilet had not been cleaning from the previous people stay, the linens on the bed were disgustingly, stains and dirty, and have not looked like they’ve been washed from the previous people. We requested management to look at the room, she instructed us to move rooms after we had already checked in the second room we went to was almost as bad. Floors had cigarette burns all over the bathtub. Looks like it was falling apart, the sheets and pillowcases had to be changed on the second room, the front lobby was dirty beyond belief and it was not check out check in time. It looks like it’s a very unkept facility. We did not stay our second night because the place was so disgusting. We felt like making the drive home four hours away was better than staying a second night in this hotel. I would really like for somebody to contact me to make things right.

My family stays at this location to be close to Holiday World and we’ve been here three times over the past number of years. It has been two years since we have been here but it was not clean. There were spots on the blankets, the walls, and even a sticky red substance on the floor in between the beds.

Rooms kick you out early, they do not clean rooms after each night. Beds were not consistent. One bed was over firm and the other was soft. The ac was so close to bed that someone was freezing while room was warm. Overall not a good experience. Wont be staying again.

Heck in was easy. Have us a bottom floor room as requested. Had trouble with our TV twice and some one helped us immediately with the problem. We stay at this motel twice a year. Will be back in the fall as planned. Hope we get the same room.

Checkin went well. The room was clean but it did have an overwhelming smell, at least in our room on the first floor. Was not impressed with the breakfast, Curdled Cream, Watered down Orange Juice and the waffle mix was very very runny, lumpy and had a discoloured look. At this point did not trust to try the sausage and eggs, so cannot comment on these items. Given the price, I guess I expected a better experience, my first time at a Baymont.

Booked for a one night rest stop while driving.
The staff we saw was very nice. The hotel is no frills, but clean and includes a hot breakfast. We did not use the pool facilities.
Nice a quiet, we only saw 1 other guest.
Wi-fi wasn't great, streaming tv options wouldn't play, but we didn't attempt to troubleshoot.

With Hotel.com earned rewards this stay was pretty much compt'ed. Dale is close to Santa Claus, IN (5 or 6 miles). The hotel was fine. I've stayed in worse. Don't know if I would have stayed if the room hadn't been discounted. It was alright

There was an outlet with things plugged in to it directly behind the left side mattress. The bathroom and shower have dubious looking grout. The pool was warm but the pool looked run down and grout could also use a good cleaning. The gumball machine downstairs had melted candy in it. The whole property is just kind of run down and worn out for the price they charge.

Was not bad but pool was cold and we did not get clean towels and breakfast was not enough for as many guest as they had it would run out within minutes and u would have to wait for them to cook and bring more out.

Breakfast- they dont have an extra waffle maker. Had a wait for 20mins to make my own waffles. I had breakfast at 9am and tables werent clean, trash was full, and hardly any eggs or sausages was left, but they replaced it after being there for 12mins. Wish they had yogurt, other fruit instead of apples, and enough creamer for the coffee because whatever coffee they used wasnt great.
Pool was cold, and a bit dirty.
Rooms- slept well , cleaned, and comfy.
Front desk- friendly and took care of any issues with my bill.

Property seems to lack in maintenance and upkeep. Our room had broken soap and shampoo dispensers and a moldy smell in the bathroom. Although, friendly staff and breakfast is decent. Not many options for hotel stay when visiting Holiday World so is possible we would return.

The staff I encountered were helpful and doing their very best. The issues I had were due to understaffing. Before even walking into the hotel I noticed all the trash bins outside were overflowing. During breakfast the same worker was prepping breakfast, restocking, checking guests out, and cleaning up dirty floors. Our room was okay, but, definitely could have been cleaner. We had two floor lamps in our room- both were missing the knob to turn them on/off and one was missing a lamp shade so we had a bare bulb. We did ask for the lamps to be fixed and knobs were brought up and added in a timely fashion. The pull out couch mattress was just gross- large urine stain among other things. I couldn't let my child sleep on it. Overall, I appreciated the staff and their hard work but, I would not stay here again.

The photos are not representative of the hotel. The room smelled musty. The bathroom did not have much shampoo or body wash. The breakfast was quite stale. However, the staff was very polite and nice. We will not be back.

I will never stay at this property again. Air was off in our room and took hours to cool off. Front desk charged my card even after given a different form of payment and assured me he didn't. Room was dirty. Outsode doors propped open with rocks because the key entry didn't work allowing anyone to come in. The only worker there spoke and understood such little English that we couldn't get our concerns heard or addressed. Worst place I have ever stayed.

I like the fact that it had a pool and I like the fact that it had a gym what I didn't like is that a nite staff was not friendly and the room was dirty and he would not accommodate me by cleaning the room or even bringing me the things for me to clean it myself. Was very disappointed

Hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent (eggs were not the best). The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious especially for having 5 people. The mattresses were beginning to feel their age (ours sagged when sleeping on it).

We checked in and immediately went to the room and checked the beds to find dead ans live bed bugs. Checked out immediately and had to pay extra for a last minute room somewhere else.

We seen the great reviews about this hotel, and thought wow this will be great for the kids and us before our day at holiday world when you walked in the door of the hotel, it’s smells gross. Once we got to our room, we noticed mold on the alarm clock smelled like mildew one of the beds, even had little black hairs under the cover on the bedsheet when asked if someone could come change the bedsheets we were told no one was there at the time to do so, so we ended up sleeping on top of the comforters with our blankets we had brought definitely not how we planned our relaxing day before going to an amusement park. Sadly, the pictures on here and the reviews do not align with how this hotel really looks.

It was so noisy the first night we could hardly sleep with whoever was upstairs stomping, their feet or people yelling in the hallway. There was no shampoo, no conditioner and a blow dryer didn’t work. breakfast There was hardly enough seats and by the time I got down there,around 8:00 there were no eggs or bacon. Oh, and the Internet was down when we first got there . overall I would not go back.

Nobody came and cleaned the room while we were gone the 2nd day of our stay. The back door was broken so anybody could come and go as they pleased.

Not so clean..sheets were dingy and had stains. There was a long hair in the bed when we pulled the blanket back. Room felt damp so we to keep the air conditioner cooler.

The hotel needs some updating! The elevator worked, but a little scary! The hotel had a smell to it! The pool was a green color, the kids skin itched when they were done! The room was plenty big for 5 of us with the pullout couch. It served its purpose after a long day at Holiday World!

The room we stayed in smelled like a sewer. The carpet felt damp so we didn’t want to walk around with our shoes off. There were flies everywhere.

I have always had maid service at my Baymont stay overs.
We had to go to the pantry/wash area and ask for fresh towels and washrags. When that area was closed, we had to take towels from the swimming pool area to have fresh towels. Also, the previous customer broke the soap dispenser and the unit was just laying on the tub. I hope Baymont doesn't try to charge me for that. Baymont was 5 Stars for me prior. Now, you are 3 Stars.

Staff was not friendly, they had their breakfast bar open from six in the morning to nine. I don’t know about everybody else but when I go on vacation 9 o’clock about time I wake up. I get up every day at 5:30 I don’t wanna get up early I want to sleep in a little and by the time I got downstairs at 8:30 there was no food on their bar and I was informed they weren’t putting any more out because it was almost 9 o’clock. So we had to go to Casey’s and buy some donuts and some thing for breakfast before we went to holiday world. I will return to holiday world, but I will not return to this hotel. I will find another place to patriot.

This place shouldn't even be open. Seen 2 roaches in our room. That prompted us to leave the hotel. My family was there maybe 15 minutes and i had seen and smelled enough to get a full refund and go at 11pm and find another hotel
