The checki in was amazing. Valerie and Elizabeth did everything they could to make our check in smooth. I was not as happy with the cleaning staff. I had to ask twice for coffee in our room. I spilled orange juice on the floor and has to ask for our room to be cleaned. It was only cleaned once in our 6 night stay afterbirth asked.

The good - location is perfect. Right in the middle of the Deadwood Strip. Parking - offsite. A short five min walk away. I did not love the idea but turned out to be a non issue. Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. The shower was very good. The bed were comfy.
The bad - the hot tub was not functional during our stay. As it was a selling point for picking this location, we receive an apology that it wasn’t working. Our room was in need of repair. The flooring started to lift and they repaired it with electrical tape. Fail. We regularly tripped on it.
Great location, lack attention to detail in many areas. I would hold my nose and stay against.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was helpful, and we loved that we could walk out the door and see the sights of deadwood. Didn’t need our car the whole time we were there.
The breakfast is usually so good at Holiday Inn, but the morning we were there the eggs and biscuits were over cooked. So that was a bummer. Love that they have great options for breakfast like Greek yogurt, cinnamon rolls, etc.
We had fun in the pool, glad they had a 10 pm close time for kids so that we could enjoy the hot tub and pool with our 18 kids for an hour.

The hotel staff was very nice, and the beds were very comfortable...we were traveling with our dogs, and despite being right in the middle of main street, the hotel mamahes to supply a place for dogs to do their business. Be prepared to walk a bit for parking, and if its a busy time or event, parking is limited. We very much enjoyerd our stay!

Room was clean but a little small to be considered a “suite”. Our window faced the hallway which was awkward. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. Location is awesome. We were in the heart of the town which for us is a good thing, other families may find it loud, but we came for the music happening outside :)

We appreciated the proximity to the Main Street in Deadwood. However, the traffic noise associated with this location was quite noisy. I placed my fan app on my phone on high to drown out the noise. The beds were amazingly comfortable!!! Parking is about a block away from the hotel.

Everything was great about our stay. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We loved that the hotel was right in the middle of Deadwood and we could walk to everything in town. This was our second time at this hotel and will definitely be back.

Negative is that the elevator only works when it wants too. Had to walk 3 flights of stairs a few times and this was a challenge due to health issues. Breakfast options the same every day. They need to change it up! After 8 days it is boring! But great staff and location!!!

Great property but you have to overlook the fact there isn’t any local parking. You have to load and unload in front of the hotel and then drive a few blocks away to park.
