Nicely renovated historic property.

The staff was courteous and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.

Broadcast TV did not work the first night, but streaming capabilities did work. All fixed by the morning.

The surroundings don’t match with the ambiance of this beautiful hotel.

I love this hotel normally. I grew up in Morgantown and now live in NYC. So coming home to history I love. But in this visit. My room was extremely dark. Especially the bathroom. There were 3 of us in a room with a tiny little sink that could not even hold 1 small cosmetic case. Given that the reservation w for 3 ppl. One would think we would have a room with a better bathroom. I know they have - because I e stayed in them. Also. They did not prepare enough towels. I was at happy hour one night and the 2 bar tenders were making experiment drinks. They offered everyone there a sample except me. I thought that was so rude and uncharacteristic. Finally the girl who was working the breakfast area was constantly on her cell phone. It took her 20 minutes for me to order a breakfast sandwich then for her to tell me I do not order coffee with her, that I should get the self serve. I go to the self serve they were out of cups and creamer!!!! I had to go back to the same girl anyway!!! What a hassle in the morning when I needed to check out and get to the Pittsburgh airport. I don't think I will stay there again

Wouldn't call it unique, but rooms dont have coffee maker, which their reply is they have complimentary coffee in lobby, but I dont think they understand just how inconvenient that is.

Loved the hotel and staff but the parking is valet bc no street parking available that I could find. Which wouldn't be horrible if it didn't close at 11 pm and doesn't open until 9 am so we were almost late for apt because we had to wait for our vehicle and can't run for anything past 11 pm which stinks, but uber is readily available to deliver for a fee $$$. n until 9am so p

We stayed for 5 days during the summer. The area is kind of a ghost town during this time but I’m sure it’s hopping when school is in session. Hotel is very nicely renovated, cool retro vibe, nice bar & the free coffee in the morning a godsend. I noticed a very off putting smell in the lobby & hallways. It reminded me of a bathroom smell. Also the air conditioner wall unit in the room was very loud. Kept me up at night. But the staff was very friendly & professional

We stayed at this hotel on a 4 day swim meet at WV university, convenient location in Morgantown downtown near to restaurants and coffee shops, will stay here again and again.

I fun overnight stay in a unique venue with an excellent staff.

We liked the historical aspect of the hotel. We didn’t like that there were no family restaurants in the immediate walking distance open late Tuesday evening and that the hotel cafe closed at 9:00

I give my overall experience for this hotel 3 stars. The hotel had a unique and fun old school vibe. Guest services, valet, and bartender were friendly. I was only staying for one night and had until 11am to check out. Housekeeping knocked on my door just after 10am, twice 10 minutes a part, to see if I’ve left yet. I found that very off putting. They should never knock on the door before 11am, let alone twice. It’s unsettling having to yell twice through the door that I’m getting dressed. In addition, the shower was very nice but had no shelf to put any of your personal toiletries on.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke. When brought to the receptionist’s attention, he stated it was a non-smoking hotel. Nothing was done to alleviate the smell and/or a new room was not offered.

The Hotel Morgan was great place to stay. We loved how helpful and friendly that the staff were. It was a fantastic place to stay for my daughters.NSO at WVU.We will definitely stay there again.
