Room should have been Ocean view but really it was court yard. Door wouldn't close so unlocked all night. Staff was was great

Everything was overall really good. I would suggest renovating the elevator that looks like to enter in an oven and the exterior of the hotel, but the room are comfortable and nice, recently renovated. The pool area and the beach are nice too. The staff is great. The dock at the beach was really dirty due to the colony of pigeons that live there. The property should do something to avoid the pigeons in the restaurant area. Unfortunately, there was construction noise during our stay, close to the beach and the restaurant. it wasn't the best experience, but this is just an unpleasant situation that should have been notify before booking by the property.

This place really is paradise. Really nice staff, beautiful courtyard with beautiful cabanas and games, the private beach is beautiful. There is sea weed but overall i definitely recommend!!

We loved the area and the resort.

Thought the general property was in desperate need of an upgrade the lift we had access to was a disgrace dirty rusted and just old. property did just not seem clean. Candles in lanterns in restaurant had fallen over and were covered in dust, lanterns were rusted went there on 1st day not tempted to go again during our stay. Overall disappointing.

It was shared as family friendly and it was not. The staff was rude. Way over priced.

Great property. Please ask housekeeping to honor do not disturb sign on door. They knocked on the door everyday at 9am and at 10:30 a on check out day when check out is 11a. Otherwise good experience. Thanks

Out of the three elevators we were told to use, one was permanently not working and the other two were hit or miss sometimes one worked, sometimes neither worked. Since our room was on the 4th floor, we had to walk up and down several times. The swimming pool water was disgusting. The pins colada drinks at the bar were of poor quality, the ice machines looked like they had not been cleaned ever, the rust was everywhere. They charge an extra @$50 for parking per day. When checking out, the person checking us out never asked us if we enjoyed our stay, if there was anything we needed, thank you for staying with us, wish us well on our trip ….nothing. For the almost $400 room per night it was lacking in cleanliness. Don’t stay here.

Only reason I went 4 stars, on the last of my 4 nights the mask from my c pap machine was missing. Probably Inadvertently grabbed with the sheets that were changed. Of course I didn’t notice until near midnight. No answer at front desk. Without the mask, I slept - total of an hour, and the only replacement I could get on the island cost me $155.

We enjoyed our stay at The Reach! The location was perfect…on the quiet end but we rented bikes and were able to go pretty much anywhere we wanted. The beach area and pool were perfect and the service at both was impeccable. Everyone was kind and seemed to genuinely care about each guest. Our room was huge….way more than what we needed! Air in rooms was nice and cold. No complaints at all….cannot wait to visit again!

We have stayed in the sister property to "The Reach" for 20 years. Due to remodeling we tried The Reach as its a Hilton property as well. Unfortunately, the name says it all. "The Reach" is a reach in an attempt to make a Holiday Inn an upper scale hotel. On the first day of a week long stay we were scorned by staff for having a sandwich from an outside restaurant in the hotel. The rooms are small and the showers are ridiculously small. I'm 5"11 and 200lbs and could barely turn around in it without hitting an elbow on the handicap holds. Only one of the two hotels two elevators worked the entire stay and at multiple times none were working. The rooms are exterior rooms so three flights of stairs in that humidity was less than pleasing. One of the nights of oue stay they hosted a wedding. Which resulted in us listening to thumping music until almost midnight. One of the wedding guests destroyed the sand sculpture on the beach that night as well. The beach is the only great thing about the hotel. One of the best on the island. But, once again the hotel is after money so half the beach is reserved for paid cabanas (which i never saw anyone rent the entire week). We also had a ceiling light in our room that would randomly turn on at odd hours in the middle of the night and stay on. Our final night one of pur rental bike had the kickstand broken off of it while attached to the bike rack in the parking garage. The bike besode ours had the lock cut off it. We will not return.

When we arrived at our room the toilet overflowed for no apparent reason. It took hours to have someone to fix it and clean after two requests. It was difficult to get housekeeping to clean our room, we had to request service multiple times while towels and trash were stacking up. Housekeeping, when they did arrive (2 times in 6 days), never replenished the coffee maker, water or soap. We ran out of the complimentary soap and shampoo (they have it locked to the shower wall). After we requested housekeeping to clean and replenish the soap for a couple days (we stayed 6 nights), we found a bottle of the body wash outside our door. The morning, we checked out, housekeeping was knocking on our door at 10:59 am, literally. The safe was broken, I think the batteries were dead. After requesting 2x they finally replaced the batteries. We went the first two days without a safe which caused us to carry our cash with us - very inconvenient and unsafe. The door to the balcony came off the tracks on the 4th day causing a HOT draft into our bedroom. The AC was on 65 the entire time however, it only cooled the front room of our suite. The bedroom was HOT each night. The elevator was broken. We met one couple who were staying on the 5th floor, and they were not happy. Thankfully, we stayed on the 2nd floor, but it was inconvenient for us as well. On a positive note: Lillie our server on the beach and pool was fantastic!! Willow at the front desk was helpful as well.

i like that the resort has a small beach and the staff take great care of you at bar, pool, and beach.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel. Everyone is friendly, the beach is amazing!! There’s a sleeve service for the beach chairs!! And they gave you nice popsicles for free on the beach. The shampoo, soap, they’re using Lockwood which smell very nice. The text service is great they respond right away!
