Mira Vista is a nice hotel just to get away and relax. Everything is near, such as food freeways and stores, so it’s very convenient as well. They are still making upgrades, but the value of the room is right on point.

Visiting family. Great for the price and clean. No real issues except that they can adjust the flushing situation on the toilet. I’ve read this on reviews prior to booking, thought that maybe it is a ‘one-offs’. The toilet has to be flushed several times (at least 3-4) to make everything go down.

Old in serious need of renovation. Microwave in the room burned the paper cup. The room was dark and old, couch in the corner was dirty. I would not return. Stayed for the location, wasn’t worth the convenience

We were very comfortable in our 2nd floor room with elevator access. The beds were very comfortable, with high quality linens. We enjoyed good sleep without noise disruptions. Window coverings were best ever! No breakfast was offered, but Fat Apple’s neighborhood cafe and bakery is nearby and was EXCELLENT. We will stay here again!

The room was of good size, and seemed to have been recently updated except for the tub. The tub had stains and the sink plumbing leaked. Thankfully we just needed to stay one night.

Past rooms have been okay but the room I stayed in half the lights didn’t work. The toilet was older than the other rooms and was so low to the ground I almost fell trying to sit on it. It also was so old it took three times as long for it to flush as a normal updated toilet does. Very bad experience this time

Excellent service and rooms very clean. It’s right off the freeway and 1/4 mile walk to BART station. Close to Safeway. Area gets tricky at night, it’s next to a warehouse, a big field were workers and unhoused men park and there’s a closed down and fenced Kmart. There’s a Walgreens also you can walk to during the day but not a night. San Pablo blvd is the better street to walk down. Be careful carrying large bags or purses after dark especially at the Del Norte BART. I almost had a young thuggish male contemplate pulling a gun out after he seen me pull my wallet at the station agent booth. The hotel is also across the street from a restaurant with a patio and older neighborhood if you need to take a walk, although nothing spectacular. Across San Pablo by the BART tracks is better.

For the price, it is very reasonable. For the sound proof of the next door occupant, very poor. You can hear the walking, the banging specially with the kids.

Decent place for the cost. Much better than expected. Place was clean and modern with a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Easy parking and no unpleasant surprises. $150/night lower than the corporate hotels nearby. Looks to be family owned.

Staff were nice and courteous. Room was not as clean as one would expect. Clumps of hair on the bedspread and a fingernail (!!!) on the nightstand. The microwave carousel piece is broken but still sitting in the microwave. The room is clearly in need of upgrading.
The worse part were the other guests - loud and disturbing at 2am and most of the time. Above me there was stomping and lots of noise.
