On check in I found the "smart card" keys were tricky and went back to the lobby to say I couldn't get the key to work at all. It was sensed by lock flashed red. The clerk gave me key to a different room, and I had trouble getting that one to work but after several tries, succeeded. It seems the key must be held in a particular orientation and location and maybe moved to the lock a certain way. You should make the locks work easier or explain better to guests how to make the fussy mechanism work. The room was in excellent condition as if it was very recently renovated. I approve the floor being smooth laminate instead of carpet. Probably a Covid motivated change. It seems much more clean. It seems bathrooms no longer exhaust the humid air which saves energy but in summer exhausting the air seems desirable. I turned on the heat to warm up the room when I arrived and it didn't have any smell and warmed up the room quickly. the mattress seemed enclosed in a plastic cover. I haven't traveled much in years.Guessed it may be precaution for the scourge of bedbugs I have read about in recent years. I think it a good idea.

We should definitely be refunded/compensated.We were on the bottom floor, and there must have been a leak or just no care for humanity because the wall was bubbling and cracked.In our room we had black mold on the ceiling and we also had mold on the back of the desk chair The pool is definitely not heated. The breakfast bar had cheerios all over the place. It smells weird.

Hotel in general was a bit rundown. I had to open the window because the tile floor was sweating through the whole room after I took a shower.

Dirty and smelly place!

This place is dirty and smelly! The carpets are dirty. In the room, the bed was well made but that piece of cloth over the down comforter to give the impression of a blanket or duvet was dirty! There were marks that looked like grease. The same for the couch which had a lot of spots. With tax, I paid $211 and this was a waste of money. The pool was dirty and was not heated as they claimed. This place is run down and does not worth the price. The most this should charge could be $80 per night. In the lobby, there was a male guest in shorts without shirt! Such a big turn off and waste of money. I was truly disappointed. The pictures does not show how the room actually look.. maybe when they just opened but clearly not now. There were many doors to the pool and there was an awful smell as well. It was a nightmare and a waste of A LOT of money!

They should not mention anything about breakfast included, the holway smelled nasty, and the shower dirty

The hallways smelled of marijuana at night and worse in the morning. The wallpaper was falling off the walls. There were holes in the walls. The lobby was dirty. The desk clerk was asleep behind the desk. The remote to the TV did not work. The batteries were corroded. The clerk wanted to change rooms because the remote did not work. He later came by with a remote with new batteries. The breakfast was not appetizing and did not look fresh.

The staff was very friendly at this location. Each morning we did notice that there was a distinct fragrance which I thought might be incense. I have allergies so it made things tough as we passed through.
