The hotel was clean, but obviously an older hotel. Their breakfast options were overall quite terrible. I eat a primarily plant-based diet and don’t consume dairy so breakfast was basically an apple or super sugary oatmeal and there were no nondairy creamer options for the coffee which really put a damper on my morning routine.

I didn’t get to stay at this hotel because I was at the Mayo Clinic with my husband who has a brain tumor. I’m upset that I couldn’t get even a partial refund for my hotel room, especially with all of this going on in our lives.

The furniture was dirty and outdated. The fridge was ancient and unclean, including an exploded pop in the freezer. Extra towels could not be delivered to the room, only front desk pick up for towels.

TV remote didn’t work. Hotel did not email me receipt. Call didn’t go through when I tried to call hotel. Pool for my guests was too warm. Not enough towels for 3 peopje and 2 night stay. Had to ask for more shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

The front desk was so poorly organized that there were often lines of people waiting for service. We had 4 rooms and were told conflicting info as each room was checked in. The rooms have tile floors and they were filthy- walked across the room twice barefoot and the soles of our feet were black. The breakfast room staff was very friendly especially Stacy.

The hotel was close to Walmart and several restaurants.
The only problem that I had with the hotel is that the hot tub wasn't hot- it was mildly warm and there was no way to change the temperature the night we stayed- they had to get maintenance in the next day. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal to me, but I needed a hot tub for muscle aches that night and was really looking forward to a hot tub soak.

The room, staff and pool area were very good. But they didn’t have the room I ordered and paid for. They cancelled my stay and gave me the confirmation to get a refund, then I talked to the person who I then sent a picture of and he said he couldn’t use it,and had to talk to the person. Who was alone with a line. I have still not heard back.

The suite with the small kitchen was very nice. We almost decided to add another night. We were however disappointed that there was no dining within walking distance - not even fast food.

Our go-to hotel when in the cities that is just perfect for our needs including a pool, hot tub, large rooms and fantastic breakfast. So many dining choices nearby and also a walkable route to a brewery. A great hidden gem surrounded by all shopping options. I also enjoy an easy, very close to lobby parking lot.
