We liked the secure feeling of the hotel. We especially liked and appreciated the hotel staff - all of them. They were so kind and friendly. They were always available and ready to assist your needs. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Excellent in every way !!!!!

Our trip to Paris was phenomenal. The hotel was charming and very clean. The concierge was helpful and we enjoyed the beautiful views of the city, from our junior Eiffel suite!

We only stayed at this hotel for one night and had asked for early check in which wasn’t possible. They told us our room would be ready by 3 and they would let us know. We continued to wait in the lobby. My husband finally asked them around 3:45pm if the room was ready, to which they replied “oh yes, it’s been ready but we forgot to tell you”. That was super frustrating for us since we traveled that morning and had plans to see museums later in the day, which did not work out. The staff did make it up with two free cocktails at the bar and an hour added to the check out. Otherwise, the room was clean although small and had basic amenities. We called to ask for an iron and board and it was promptly delivered. No extra US outlets or USB plug ins were available, just fyi for fellow travelers. There were nearby restaurants and the Louvre was a 10-15 min walk from the properly. Overall, everyone was kind and helpful, but the check in process wasn’t as smooth as we had hoped.

Great location. Great staff. Great view (if you get a room with one). Pricey but worth it for a splurge.

Great service and hospitality

We had a very short stay(2 nights), we had a welcome fruit basket and candies.. The Hotel is a nice old building. We had a room with a view of The Eiffel Tower.. very nice. I would recommend this hotel.Our only probem was the "climate control" in the room. We put on "snowflake"but ot still blew hot air, granted it is April and not that hot yet, but it would be nice to cool down after walking around the city all day and difficult to sleep in stagnant air.. We opened the window, but the bugs came in. Our last night, we asked for a fan.

No sleep due to noise (buzzing from air conditioning unit which I had to turn off and open windows). Very small room, did not feel like it was anything like in pictures. Very costly considering couldn’t even have a good rest.

Staff was excellent and so very kind.

The only thing that could improve would be the shower. It had a shower wand and not a fixed shower head. For a tub bath it would have been an excellent.

This was a great experience! The people were very nice and the hotel was great! The rooms were very clean and worked great for our family! We will stay here again!!!

This was one of the best places to stay in Paris! The staff were amazing, so friendly and very helpful, allowing us to practice our French aussi! We were able to walk everywhere from our location, and if you're adventurous to Montmartre as well.

I would not recommend this hotel and i will never go back there. Dirty, poor quality and expensive breakfast with unfriendly staffs, except Victoria at thd front desk. The guy for night shift, left the phone on busy mode so he did not reply to calls, but he was sleeping at thd back while working. Very old fashioned hotel, not feeling comfortable to take bath, smelly bed sheets. I dont understand why this hotel is 5 stars? I barely give it one star. It is very formal, unfriendly environment. I did not like it, i did not enjoy my time over there, and i never recommend it to anyone.

Too expensive but the location worth it

The Hotel Pont Royal is in a great, walkable location for the major museums, the Latin Quarter, and lots of restaurants. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We could not have been happier with our stay.

The Hotel is beautiful and provides its guests with an intimate and elegant ambiance. Service was very good and the staff is young and friendly. Restaurant is very good and will get better. Whenever in Rioja make sure to book this wonderful property for a couple of nights… you will not regret it!! We shall return!!!

Wonderful small hotel with a literary vibe. Rooms in floors 5-7 have a partial view of Eiffel Tower. Small rooms that could benefit from a better design of the bathrooms to avoid water spilling out of tub. Great neighborhood.

The hotel was in a great location, the staff were fantastic and friendly, the room had pretty much everything we needed and they replenished and cleaned twice daily. The elevators were good, the main negative was that the view was not as advertised. We paid for an Eiffel Tower view room and to get the view of the Eiffel Tower we had to climb out onto this tiny balcony and look to the left and see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The step up to the balcony was very high and difficult to climb over and climb back in. The other negative was the bathtub, very high to step over and into as it was a soaking tub that was built up, there should have been a grab bar to assist due to the slip hazard as the shower sprayed everywhere as there was a half glass wall on the back side which didn't stop the water from the shower splashing all over the place.

Friendly and welcoming staff

This has to be the best location in Paris. It’s close to the museums, shopping and wonderful cafes.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s on a quiet street but still within walking distance to many major sights like the louvre, the Musee D’Orsay, the Musee Rodin, and others. The staff were some of the friendliest Parisians we came across! The room was a bit small but it’s typical for Europe, otherwise it was extremely clean and had a good amount of storage. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The Hotel Pont Royal was a wonderful stay for us. We arrived for 11-night stay in the Junior Suite Eiffel View to friendly people at the desk, and a chilled bottle of champagne in our room. Throughout our stay, they left us random gifts in our rooms, like flowers, snack basket, French chocolates. Very thoughtful. They were very accommodating in arranging taxis for us everyday. The housekeepers were very nice and helpful. And the view of the Eiffel Tower from our two balconies was gorgeous and great to see it sparkling at night every night before bed. The hotel is in a great, quiet location, the staff are fabulous, and I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in a great area of Paris!

Lovely 4 star hotel. I said it right, it’s more of a 4 star hotel. The staff is amazing! Very nice, welcoming and super helpful! Would we stay there again? Absolutely, if we’ll get some sort of discount or VIP perks for room upgrades.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was everything you would expect from a 5 star establishment. Great service, location, amenities, the most comfortable bed and cold air condition. It is adjacent to one of Joel Robuchon restaurants. What stood out to us was the attentiveness and attention to detail by all staff especially the front desk clerk (Asunta) who recognized it was my wife’s birthday and had balloons brought to our room on the day! We will definitely be staying at Hotel Pont Royal the next time we are in town.
