A personal comment: for once, pillows to our liking and no sign of an impossibly hot duna. And then there was the sea view.

The property was close to everything how Eva it didn’t have enough for the 4 of us in the room to eat or make anything like a bench space and the internet wasn’t working and either was the TV

The restaurant on site was closed. The balcony for our room was not what I would consider a balcony but a long gallery with large windows that many rooms could access. Outlets were few and hard to access. There was guest laundry - reasonably priced - a big plus.

Great little hotel. Met my needs nicely.

Although there were 2 beds in the room (1 × single & 1 x double) the double bed was jammed up against a wall & was very restricted. I honestly felt like kicking the brick wall down in the middle of the night as between that and my partner in the double bed was very restricted & limited by the wall. The rooms w this layout should not be advertised as a double, rather 2 singles. And also i thought it was unreasonable to insist upon an additional $15 charge if the single bed was used!!! Its clearly priced at the budget end - so advertise that aspect properly. Also the TV only had 4 functioning channels - two of them for kids - which i had to retune and there were v limited powerpoints. Lady on front counter was helpful & pleasant.

I believe nothing is changed since hotel opened many years ago. Not much happens in Kingston. Booked room with seaview, but got key probably to only one without? After complaining receptionist gave me a key to one with seaview through balcony. In the hotel name there is word Restaurant, which probably has been closed for many years.

Super close to Cafes and shops.

Although needing a bit of an update, we had a large room with access to a balcony overlooking the sea. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. A real bonus was the swimming pool which was clean and lovely after a long drive. Very reasonably priced as well.

okay for am overnight travel stay. Motel is a bit tired

The manager is lovely however the motel is in dire need of upgrade and the daily servicing of the room was done at the bare minimum. Bathroom tap was constantly dripping. Dishes were left on the sink unwashed. Toilet appeared to not be freshened up throughout our stay. Location is very good.

did not like anything key did not work without a lot of effort. we booked the motel because it had a restaurant to find it was closed. will not go back. bathroom had what looked like and smelt like mould in deteriorating corner.

We had a pleasant 2 night stay at Lacepede Bay Motel mostly thanks to Kelly, the manager who made this possible. Nothing was too much for her. Would definitely stay again.

All good for the price

No microwave oven. Poorly appointed with fridge, kettle and toaster in a disused wardrobe. Very basic.

The owner was super friendly and the room was clean and well presented. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back again. Close to all shops and the beach. a great spot!

The room had access to a balcony with a view of the sea. The motel was showing its age a bit and in dire need of an upgrade.
