This property has never been updated since it was purchased. From the ancient decor and furniture to the cabinetry this property is in dire need of a Reno. The paint is discoloured and marks everywhere with the countertops having temporary grout because of damage. The tv at times would work mostly not and the water pressure for the toilets was horrible often not flushing properly. The only thing that makes this unit worth staying in is past tenants leaving beach items for reuse. The description of this unit is general to all the units of this site therefore deceptive. I was super disappointed with the up keep of this unit. There should be standards required for each rental unit to be upgraded. The only bonus is walkability to the beach and town.

Perfect location. Check in was easy. Called next day to see if we needed anything, everything was simple. Noise from the cars is loud but quiets at 9pm. Furniture was old, but clean.
Only one beach chair was in a closet and it was ripped and unusable, minor.
Lots of towels, bedding and an overall friendly spot to spend sometime away.

I was very happy with our condo. It was perfect for our family, although the property manager was extra annoying and he does not know how to communicate with guests. One of my doors got locked the day we arrived and I asked him if he knew how to open the door. He said I had to contact the property owner. Because he couldn’t do anything about it. Everyone else was nice except for him. He was always checking on us and we caught him taking pictures of us without our permission, when he could just come to us and let us know what we were doing wrong, my sister approached him and asked him why he explained and he started yelling “get off my property” when she was standing on the grass. Our last night there we were at the pool and once again he came and started saying things at my daughter and another girl she was playing with, she said no diving but before they did that there was another family doing the same thing and we didn’t see him come to tell them anything. Like I said everything was great. My only issue was that grumpy and annoying so called property manager.

The resident manager is dreadful. He is rude aggressive and abrasive. We were treated very poorly by him. He berated my 25 year old daughter for parking our rental bikes in the wrong area. Even after she appologised he was still very aggressive and rude. Later in the afternoon she and I were swimming and he came and screamed at us that there was no running or canon balling in the pool. We were not doing either. I tried to tell him we were not, he just kept pointing to the rules sign and repeating "there are rules for safety". We are not children. We were just floating in the pool. No apologising calmed him. He was Awful. We left 2 days early and rented a new condo elsewhere for the remainder of our stay. We will never rent at Maui Park Shores again. The grounds are beautiful. But being outside of your condo leaves room for a run in with the dreadful resident manager.The condo was run down. The carpet was pretty gross and the couch was all stained up. 2 Thumbs down. It is cheep for a reason. For the sake of your vacation spend a little more and go elsewhere.

the location is perfect front beach with in walking distance, condominium needs a furniture,blankets,towels & drapes updates. bathrooms , plants & frames needs to be dust .. this place is more quite noises free senior living... if your coming with a big family size & kids? I wouldn’t recommend it at all.. property manager is a mean person and No comunicación skills .

We liked that we were directly across the street from the beach. However, 202 is too close and gets a lot of road noise, as well as neighbors talking loudly from the adjoining property. We liked being next to the tennis courts. The furniture in this unit was worn out and uncomfortable. The carpet was very dirty.

The condo itself was great My suggestions for improvement would be some memory foam on the beds for added comfort The kitchen needed more coffee cups and the knives need to be replaced All in all a very comfortable place to stay and convenient for a fantastic beach

The property is right across the from kamole beach III. It was a perfect view. We loved the beach things included, the beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and towels. The only negative was no air conditioning.

Location was fantastic!Room 202 very old and outdated. It also was quite dirty. A good top to bottom scrub of ALL surfaces is required. Washing machine wouldn’t draiy the first time I used it, it was fixed the day we called. Beds were ok. A lot of “water ants” in the kitchen. Had to keep all food in the fridge which had a serious condensation issue.

The place came with boogie boards sand toys and fishing poles.

We were on the fourth floor (top) so with the windows open the airflow with the ceiling fans was on point.

We were on the top floor but located so far from the parking lot.
No service to come and clean every day.
There is no one working at the front desk. Luckily they have an after hours service who let us know our keypad code to get in and our parking spot number.
Overall:
A great place to stay if you are coming as a family with kids young and old. If it were just my husband and I I would like to have stayed in a resort. It worked great being able to cook my own meals and have some time and a place to get away with my kids. I expected no AC coming to Hawaii. My in laws live there and we have stayed with them and they don't have AC. Plus they have shuffle board and tennis there! It worked for my family and our situation!

Very comfortable and great place to stay. Had so many things to offer in and around the condo. Condo home was well maintained and clean. Had good rules to have a very enjoyable stay. Amazing views of the ocean and Haleakala.
There was no air conditioning in the unit we stayed however, keeping the large sliding doors open to the balcony led fresh and cool air spread into the unit, keeping it cool and comfortable. It can actually get really chilly overnight. Also, being able to hear the ocean waves across the street is nice.

Amazing views of the ocean and Haleakala. Great location right off the Kamaole 3 beach. Easy access to beach, pool, bbq and Kehei town. Perfect two bedroom for myself, wife and two adult daughters. In room washer/dryer is very convenient.Only complaint is that cleaning staff was there until 4 cleaning.

It was a small condo complex, very well kept up. No one to talk to that we saw. It was a great location, just across the street from the #3 Beach.
The biggest issue for the family was that there was no air conditioning. We did fine without it except for a couple of evenings it was a little warm but there was air flow throughout the condo.

We [w/ 4 kids] were very comfy in a 2-bedroom condo for a week; the location is great, very close to all the Kihei stores/shopping/restaurants, didnt really need to go anywhere else. Even the beach just across the street is probably the best kids friendly beach in entire Maui [very good for swimming, boogie boarding..]. Wish we went there everyday instead of beach hopping. So, folks w/ kids & wanting to take them to a beach & let loose & relax... Kamaole Beach ParkIII is the best & right across from Maui Parkshore [no need to drive/park]!!! And, the best part of the hotel is [if you like Mangoes], there is a huge mango tree in the backyard... we had fresh mangoes everyday.... :)

It was great! We stayed in unit 302, and it was very clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. The best part was it was right across from the beach and had the best prices we could find. Absolutely no complaints!

For the money this condo was great. Very spacious and well kept. Everything you need in a condo. Being able to cook your own meals in Hawaii saves you a ton of money. Right across from a very nice park and the ocean. We could see whales right from the condo. Id recommend this to anybody on a budget.

Condo was fine for a family vacation. A few things didn't work and it was on a busy street, but it was great to have a kitchen and it was right across the street from the beach. Price was good.

Loved being able to see and hear the ocean. Great location and great town. A little difficult to understand check in due to no front desk but condo is in a building with regular residents so you feel like you are going home. Carpet could have been cleaner. Made our socks brown. Street noisy during the day but quiet at night. Parking spot tight.

The location is right across the street from Kamole #3 beach. Beach is great for kids and has a lifeguard, restrooms and showers. We stayed in condo #412. Had 2 bedroom suite w/ kitchen, big screen TV, 1 queen bed with TV, 2 twin beds and sofa bed. Everything was clean & nice.Had some updates in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was fully loaded with everything needed to prepare meals. NO A/C but the unit had lots of fans (I think none of the units have A/C) The balcony was great, the whole wall is sliding glass doors and we left them open all the time.
Remember to call the office at least 72 hours in advance so that you get your room assignment and parking number.
