We were attending a local athletic competition and the hotel met our needs which were a bed to sleep in and an early morning breakfast. The hotel was loaded with disaster recovery people but it never seemed loud, dirty or overloaded. Everyone was very nice. Pool was cold but that is what the ocean is for (well minus the sharks).

My experience at this hotel was horrible. This was the last hotel that I could booked in Panama at this time. I should have trusted my first instinct when I first walked in room 219 the smell was very strange. As I got comfortable I notice that the floor was real cold and then as I kept walking around the whole room my socks were getting soaked and wet. I noticed an individual at front desk and he didn’t show any sympathy about what was going on. I asked did anyone experience it before and he said no and that he would send out housekeeping. I can’t stay in that room any longer so I stayed gone because the room was smelling like mold/mildew. Later that day after getting back after midnight I saw that had a email from a lady name Tonya saying that my new room was available and someone be trying to reach me. The hotel has my number so I was wondering why I didn’t get call or why nobody say anything to me when I was in and out and when I went to front desk and gave them my room number to get more towels for the room. The fact that I was told it was nothing wrong with the room and nobody complained just to find out it’s a ac leak in that room by one of the employees. I feel like this experience was very hazardous from me and my family in that room. The bed was very moist out clothes was getting moist and just didn’t feel safe. When I go on vacation and came to Panama I always stay with Hampton and this the third incident dealing with Hampton.

This place is a definite NO. Stay away. It was gross, our comforter smelled like bad BO, the carpet was dirty and the breakfast was less than marginal. We've been in nice Hamptons before, but not this one - Yuck - will never be back.

Clean on arrival; however, housekeeping needs improvement. Stayed 4 nights and room should have been serviced twice but only serviced once and I had to go ask for service (clean towels and pick up trash only)

Totally chaotic from the get- go. Had to wait an hour past check in time, our names got thrown out of the system and our keys stopped working so we couldn't get in the room, had to spend a couple of hours trying to figure out what was going on, Brandon was a great help though. Didn't get any kind of discount or anything , really pricey room

This Hampton Inn is conveniently located. The facility is very clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. However, there are some areas that need improvement. First, housekeeping is not available every day and if you have a dog they will not service the room even when the dog is outside the room! Second, they charge $10 per day for parking which is not my experience with other Hampton Inns in comparable locations. For these reasons I would not recommend staying here because there are other options.

The property looks good, but the room was dirty and the pullout couch needs to be replaced. No one should pay as much as it cost to have to clean before they put their stuff down. Hair in the shower and drain and floor has not been swept or mopped. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, but he is not the cleaning staff.

The check in person messed up and our reservation was cancelled. Our keys didn't work after the first night and the front desk girl refused to help us. Locking us out of our room. She hid in the back and refused to talk to Hotels.com. Another employee let us in our room. The next night when I commented on her being in the back again, she came out into the hallway and verbally aggressively confronted us. Using profanity she commented and walked away. When we talked to the service manager she assured us she would take care of the problem. Furthermore, the employee lied and said that my group brought in chairs from another area and surrounded the front desk not allowing her to help other customers. Lie, as she went to the back office and refused to come out and help us or others.

breakfast was terrible. Someone died at the hotel 10 feet from my door and no one spoke to me about any of it. I had my 8 yr. old granddaughter with me. it was horrible. the pool was dirty and the pool bathroom had crap on the floor I told them for 3 days it needed to be cleaned. My bathroom floor was dirty. I could go on and on but do not go there

We were locked out of room with all of our belongings inside due to a malfunction of the door. We had to wait in the common area for roughly an hour before we were offered another room. After several failed attempts, roughly 3 hours later they were able to open the door for us to retrieve our belongings… This was a horrible situation due to all of my medicine that has to be taken on time was locked in the room.

The room could’ve been cleaned better. Stands of hair in the bathroom door. Very awkward for the bathroom vent to be located where the tub is at. While taking the shower the vent is blowing on you while taking a shower. A roach came out the mirror. The roach went back in to fast to take a pic. I wouldn’t been able to get a different room. The lady working front desk informed the people that was trying to check in that their rooms were all sold out. I didn’t check in til late that night & it was a holiday weekend. The beds were not comfortable at all. When’s the last time the mattress been updated ? What’s the turnaround time for hotels to switch out their mattress?

Reserved room for 4 nights. Was able to check in a little before the 3:00pm time. Motel charges for parking in their parking lot, as well as the room rate, then adds a charge for "incidentals" which they say will be removed from my card in a few days.
Toilet did not work in my room. Maintenance came, did something, didn't correct problem. Second day, toilet still NOT working. It was a very simple fix that was accomplished that second day.

I quit staying at the Holiday Express because they don’t have maid service and they always raised the rates at the end of the stay. Now the Hampton Inns are following that example. We stayed at the Hampton in Panama city beachfor two nights and days. There was no maid service and when asked about it or if they would clean my room I was told it wasn’t available. Then she handed me some towels and said she couldn’t do anymore. This hotel is close to the beach and has a pool besides and with children and normal activities there was trash that filled the small recepticles in the room. The maids didn’t even check to empty those or if there was sufficient toilet paper. By the time we left there was trash spilling everywhere and no toilet paper at all. We were on the third floor with no place to dump the trash. When we arrived even the floor of the bathroom was dirty and it appeated as the staff had mopped it quickly with soap but didn’t clean it properly as ones bare feet stuck to the floor as you walked there and left feet feeling dirty afterwards. Overall I think the IHG has really lost the meaning of “Customer Service”!

We were in Panama City for a scuba diving trip. Hotel was less than a mile from the dive shop and the dive boat. Great location - great restaurants nearby. Staff was very nice and attentive.

The people we were vacationing with had late check in. Their room smelled like pot. Shower by pool did not work. Only 2 out of 4 hole Toaster worked at breakfast When cleaning ladies said that they had the rooms on floors 1 & 3 done so went inside and let the manager know that we were told the rooms were clean, she said they lied. That happened at 2.45 pm and the room wasn't ready till 3.30 pm. Pool area was very loud at
1 pm. Our room was great though, but the guests that we came with was not
