Good location for a weekend. Did not enjoy the pillows. They need better options.

The hotel was a great place to stay, right in the heart of everything.

Property was fine. Decor in the room needs to updated.

Hotel was in need of a facelift. Wallpaper was old and stained. Rugs were dirty. Elevators broke down and had to use service elevators. There were some homeless or panhandlers near the hotel begging.

This hotel was very clean! Customer service was amazing ! Staff was very friendly.

Location was great. Staff was great. Attached restaurant and cafe. Didn't use rental car. It's in the French Quarter approximately two blocks from Canal/Bourbon Streets which have a CVS & Walgreens.

Everything was great. The staff were extremely professional and nice with the exception of lady that was working on the morning shift at the coffee stand. She was cursing up a storm where no guest should have to hear. The good thing about that is that it was at 6:30 in the morning.

We loved the beignets and riding the cable car. The museum district and the statue garden were exquisite! The music on Bourbon Street was awesome and everyone was friendly and helpful. Our waitress at Hard Rock gave us all kinds of helpful tips as well as the hotel staff.

Due to the weather, the hurricane and the flooding in Houston I was unable to celebrate my birthday at the Renaissance in New Orleans😥😥

I love staying here but my room wasn’t as big or clean as the last time I was there.

Check in was at 4:00 pm. We arrived at 6:10 PM and were told that they had no rooms for us. They said it would be over an hour before they had a room. We had reserved two rooms. Both rooms reserved were King beds. We were told that they could “upgrade “ us for two doubles to a King. We never had reserved two doubles to begin with. Within 20 minutes or so they miraculously had one room ready. Our party of 4 went up to the one room and about another 20 minutes later we were told the 2nd room was ready. They would not give us a discount when we asked. The check in process was lengthy and we feel that it was totally unnecessary to force us to wait for our rooms when clearly they were reserved weeks ago. Staff acted as if they were doing us a favor letting us stay there. We came very close to leaving and going elsewhere but elected to stay. We will NOT ever stay here again. There are many hotels in NO that we all 4 felt would have treated us better.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I am in New Orleans. It never disappoints.

Only stayed for one night but it was a great experience. Walking distance to Bourbon Street. The room was clean. Only one small problem. The valet parking lot is small and can cause congestion.

Nice hotel. It could use some updating as previous reviews have stated. Great location and wonderfully accommodating staff.

The staff was very nice and was always open to give recommendations for restaurants food. Really anything you asked. The rooms need to be updated. Wallpaper was pealing off the walls in the bathroom. The water pleasure wasn’t the best. The furniture was very dated. The dead bolt on the door didn’t work. I gave it 4 starts because the lobby & restaurant/bar were clean and again the staff was friendly. Although tour last night wasn’t the best. We wanted to stay at the hotel for dinner and drinks since we had an early flight. Our group was sitting in the bar/restaurant and this guy not sure if he was a local tried to start a fight with one of our family member for no reason we were all confused as to what was happening. I had to get in between them at one point. The bartender that was working did nothing to de-escalate the problem. Thank God nothing happened. We just left and went to our room but it kind of left the sour taste in our mouth that the staff didn’t like kick this guy out but again all in all we had a great time.

Perfect location

Good location. Quiet. But restaurant not too par!

I am only allergic to dust and mold, and the hotel room caused me the most intense allergy attack I have ever experienced. The power outlets on either side of the bed did not work. Only one of my keycards worked and when they tried fixing it, the one that used to work, stopped working so I never got two functional keys. I liked the nice staff, the convenient restaurant in the hotel lobby and the view from the room. Beds were very comfortable but this was overshadowed by the intense allergies the room gave me.

Extremely friendly helpful staff. Some small glitches were taken care of immediately. Biggest problem was a large group of college students had an affair, so they were noisy and inconsiderate of others when partying through the night We understand the need for large group booking, but wish they could have been housed in their own block of rooms. Otherwise a very pleasant stay
