We stayed at this hotel November 16-17 2024 for the CT Car Show at Mohegan Sun, and it was a great experience! Mohegan Sun was charging $800-1K+ a night for their rooms last minute, Fairfield hotel was under $400 and only 3 minutes driving wise. It was also very convenient having the on demand free shuttle to and from Mohegan Sun. Jeffery the shuttle driver was so professional and such a great guy! He was awesome!
Here is my experience with this hotel:
Rooms
Rooms are very nice, they definitely show their age especially the furniture, but it’s not a bad thing. Plug in Outlets throughout the room is very nice, sadly no USB ports. Room TV has Netflix, YouTube and HBO Max built in to watch for free which is really nice! Pull out Couch is also nice for more people to sleep in the room. Bathroom is large and clean.

-Mohegan Sun: 3 minute drive from hotel -Foxwoods Casino and Tanger Outlet mall: 10-15 minute drive -Walmart: 5 minute drive
Safety
Neighborhood itself is relatively safe and quiet. Parking lot of this hotel was well lit at night both front, back and sides of the property with LED lights, making it safe to park and walk to and from hotel.
Walkability
Not much to walk to around this neighborhood, it’s better to drive to get to places from this hotel than it is to walk. But stores and the casino is close by with car, highway is nearby as well.

Hotel room was spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and when I asked for extra pillows they brought them to the room in less than 10 minutes. Excellent front desk service. The driver for the shuttle was helpful and polite and on time. Definitely recommend staying here if visiting the casinos. The only negative is that one could hear everything in the hall so it was hard to sleep in with all the house outside.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Uncasville, which is very close to Mohegan Sun! We were in town to see Rod Stewart in concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena, as apparently many other Fairfield guests were as well! The staff at the Fairfield Marriott was super friendly and accommodating and even gave my mom, whose 80th birthday it was, a lovely welcome gift. The shuttle from the Fairfield to Mohegan Sun was also incredibly convenient. The next morning, we enjoyed the splendid breakfast buffet, which had something for everyone. I highly recommend the Fairfield Marriott as a reasonably priced, comfortable, and convenient hotel that is perfect for families and for its proximity to Mohegan Sun!

Horrible customer service and experience. Booked an overnight stay with family check in and paid deposit to be told their pool was out of order. Manager on duty was rude and said it was stated on website but it wasn't and when showed her it wasn't she said oh well, No refund. Needless to say, we left very upset and will never return!

Perfect for our overnight stay! This hotel was clean, quiet and close to Mohegan Sun. The hotel shuttle provided convenient transportation to our event. Staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was quite satisfactory, with many hot and cold choices. Extra bonus was the sofa bed in our room, which gave my daughter a bit of privacy that she enjoyed.
