Harbour Hotel Fowey, is friendly, welcoming, unpretentious luxury.
Our room was spacious and well appointed, with one of the most comfortable beds we have stayed in.
The complementary gin was a lovely touch for a relaxing pre dinner drink, over looking fabulous views of Fowey harbour (Wednesday night is racing night for the local sailing club in the summer and is a wonderful spectacle of colour and seamanship).
Food was a delicious, although we little rushed between courses. A little break between our starter and main would have allowed us to enjoy each course to the full.

Wonderful views and location. Parking not easy- should be made clearer up front in advertising. But the local car park available and a weeks' pass can be paid for.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Please clean the tea tray and if guest wishes coffee machine to be out of cupboard, do not replace daily into the cupboard/wardrobe. Always well supplied. Note that in-house music needs to be turned off before 12 midnight at least, as this was audible in some rooms. Ambience and style of hotel fitting for the setting. Continental breakfast very good and plentiful. Loved our stay overall.

A lovely 2 night stay, great hotel, great room and lovely people made this a treat for us both.
Reason for the 4 stars was the restaurant and bar was supposed to be dog free, dogs only allowed outside, there was 7 dogs in the restaurant area whilst having our evening meal.

amazing view from bedroom window over the estuary , however the room was very stuffy and no air con - there was a fan but this didn’t really do the trick. hotel needs modernisation to bring into 21st century - over- priced in my opinion

The position and view from the hotel is wonderful. It is withing essy walking distance of hhe quay, pubs and amenities. It is a slight walk uphill back up the hotel, so might no be suitable for everyone
Breakfasts are very good, bit it was not made clear on booking that it is Continental Breakfast, and not English Breakfast, which you have to pay an extra £10 to order. Rather unnecessary when you consider the cost of staying. Bed was extremely comfirtable. Staff very good

This hotel was the best of my 14 day trip to England. The view is amazing! The food is very good—lots of dairy free & gluten free options, too. I very much appreciated the competent & friendly service. My only complaint is the music at breakfast—not my taste & too loud.

Great location and views. Although, rooms were very warm and mine was on floor 1 and road level, so windows couldn’t really be left open at night. Booking for parking and restaurant is a must, as nothing was available on the day of arrival.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views of the Fowey estuary. The interior design is contemporary and very well thought out. We had dinner in their restaurant twice as the food & service was first class, everything we ate was fresh & delicious. The bar area has comfy sofas overlooking the water which is so pretty. Lastly the staff were all friendly and helpful, all seemed happy to be there. We will definitely return to this wonderful hotel.

Quality hotel, bedroom well appointed, great mattress, pillows. Very helpful staff.
Continental breakfast okay but i felt it wrong that hot food was an extra cost bearing in mind the cost of rooms. Even a cappuccino was an extra at breakfast. Really??
Issues, not enough parking at hotel, lift is old and was out of order one day, not an issue for us but elderly clientele could have issues. Lovely interior but exterior due a paint job but don't let put you off.

Room was dusty so moved to another which had stairs to go to the ensuite, wife found stairs difficult so had to go back to the dusty room, was awaken early with deliveries just outside our bedroom window.

We’ve stayed here a number of times when visiting Fowey. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated, the beds are really comfy the sea views are wonderful.
Our room this time was suffering from some damp with the wallpaper peeling off a bit but it didn’t really detract from our stay.
Breakfast is always lovely, although there was a very large loud group and perhaps it would be better if they were offered one end of the restaurant so the rest of us had a more relaxed experience!

There is limited hotel parking which needs to be pre-booked in advance otherwise you have to park in one of the 2 main carparks. There is a bus service from the top car park which is at the top of a steep hill.

Staff were excellent and friendly. Great views and good location. The only downside is the limited parking. We were parked on sire for 1 night and then had to move 2 streets away for the next 2 nignts. But there is nothing that can be done as the Hotel is limited on space. If you know that fine and it shouldn't detract from you stay (or arrive by train to Par.) We enjoyed it and thanks to the staff.
