HORRIBLE DO NOT STAY

It smelled like skunk in the hallways. There were stains on the bed. Bugs (not bed bugs) in bathroom. Scary.

I booked a room here for only one night. Safe to say that’s all we needed to get the full experience. We pulled up to the motel - the state of the outside is spooky, gross, and rundown. Checked in fine although other people around us didn’t seem to be having the same experience. The hallways smelled of weed, musty alcohol and beer, animal pee, and just over all rotten stench. We entered the room to see stained carpet, crud all along the walls and floor boards. The lock on the door was busted off, indicating that it had been kicked in at some point. The bathroom smelled very musty and there were mysterious hairs all over. The towels seemed clean enough but again, smelled rancid. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door as well. We didn’t even try to investigate the coffee maker, fridge, or microwave so we have no further input on the appliances. The were a decent amount of guests there that seemed to be living there long term. I would not recommend being outside at night, or in the hall - there were many suspicious people that I would not want to cross paths with again. Barely slept because there was people yelling all night and coming in and out of the of their rooms nonstop. The nights sleep was also particularly awful due to the smell. I had to sleep with my face covered. Never in my life has a room smelled so bad that I could not sleep. The doors that lead to the hallway never locked as well. The card keys for our room barely worked, the one did not work at all.

Rooms smell horrible but staff is awesome

The room was hot and sticky. The AC was super weak. It also smelt really bad in the hallways of the hotel.

Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was super nice. Used the bathroom near the lobby while waiting and heard staff members yelling and screaming at eachother about being over worked. This was heard through walls and doors. Made the process of checking in uncomfortable. Room was standard and clean.

Front desk clerk was probably the best part of this Motel, she was very friendly. After that everything was down hill. Room at first glance looked clean but after stripping the bed, finding the white sheets stained with who knows what, the mattress protector looking like it was peed on - we opted to go to target by Lysol spray and all new bedding , along with hand soap. After showering, then walking in the carpeted in bare feet we learned real quick to wear your shoes in the room as our feet turned black from the carpets within 30 minutes. The back side entrance was zip tied so anyone could access without a key fob. Pluses … the AC was nice and cold.

About 1am there was a loud fight. No breakfast really. Bed was old and lumpy. Old/dirty carpet/bathroom/everything. Door to get into the hotel didnt lock. Poor parking.

Strong odours through the building and the room needed a deep clean.

The toilet was dirty, garbage still in the room, but the desk lady always remembers me and is friendly!

Older motel. Price was right. Breakfast was minimal, but okay. Staff was friendly!

This place smelled stale and airless. Had to wait 15 minutes for the front desk clerk to even show up. I would not walk barefoot on the carpet. This motel looked like it should be in a horror film. The room looks like a future crime scene.

The property was very dirty and the air conditioning unit never worked. I want the refund.

Parking was good

Room smelled like mildew. In-room coffee maker had dark flakes & buildup in its reservoir. Adjustable shower head would not adjust its position, nor could the shower/faucet selector be moved into the faucet position. Exterior-facing window would not lock and therefore could not be secured; this was a ground floor room, so anyone could have entered from its waist-height position. The exits to the exterior of the building did not lock and therefore anyone could enter the hotel from those points. Very cheap room, but you get what you pay for.

This hotel is pretty decent, it has a nice breakfast. I like that it's pet-friendly, the check-in is quick, and the rooms are decent enough for the price. Our cable didn't work and they called out the cable guy which was very nice of them! The hotel is a little dated, but for the price I can't complain about anything.

Room had an awful smell, air conditioner was broke. Room was not put together. Bathroom floor was sticky.

Needs some cleaning; and more social/professional staff...

The lobby was clean and breakfast was good. Lots of choices. The room was another thing. Dirty towels hanging on shower rod. Bedspread was absolutely filthy…..it went on the floor. Amazingly the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, but will think twice before booking “America’s Best” again.

odor was terrible in the 2 rooms we booked at each end of this old motel. Maybe the carpets haven't been done in several years? It was close to unbearable. I would have stayed in a different place if I knew it smelled like that.

Horrible customer service. Front desk clerk was watching TV. Took him a solid min to move from the TV to the front desk. After checking me in the room I went to had its door already opened, the bed was dirty, and the bathroom had been obviously used.

Price was ok. Room smelled musty affecting my sinuses.

Slight confusion with my reservation however it was quickly resolved by the front desk clerk on duty. Good value and pet friendly

The smoke alarm was beeping I spk wth front desk they said would have it addressed but still beeping when I came back later that night took battery out it still beeped meaning it was hard wired it was not the best of shape also the tv remote didn't work and they never fixed the issue just gave excuses overall in all places I have stayed this was far below par

To many people living there month to month. Barking dogs. Tv didn’t work not staying again. I come come through every year

I was pretty exhausted after a challenging drive up I-29 from Fargo through pouring rain on a bumpy pavement. The front-desk clerk was very polite and very efficient, and came down and got my heat working to my satisfaction. Everything in the room worked well, and the bed was firm enough to support my back. The breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience, and would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a comfortable place which covers the basics.
