Amazing holiday from start to finish!!

We stayed in the sea view suite and it looks exactly like the pictures. Very clean and great staff, especially boom that took care of us from check in to check out. Lots of activities to do every single day and outstanding spa! Great place to relax and enjoy a few days in a great place.

We had a great experience at Amatara! My wife loved the spa & enjoyed several treatments. The pool was great & overlooked the ocean. Our room was top notch, super comfortable & clean. Staff at this resort are friendly, professional & make sure you have a great stay. We will be back!!

Amatara Welleisure Resort was amazing. I would definitely stay there again. Staff was nice and friendly. They have many options to choose from for food options. They offer transportation services. I will stay again when I return to Phuket!

Incredible experience. Super comfortable and for a fantastic price. A wonderful private cooking class, relaxing private beach with swings and top quality facilities. Customer and room service were very professional and very responsive ie needed an iron for the wedding I had to attend and they responded imminently with an iron and board arriving to the room in a few minutes. A truly beautiful location and one of the best hotels my wife and I have every stayed in!

Good to stay. Calm and cozy.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and overall the experience was mixed. Hotel is located in a remote area of Phuket that is quiet and private. There is a private beach that guests can go into, the beach has a lot of rocks so I'd recommend wearing one of those beach shoes that protect your feet. There are shuttles that can you around the resort and to the main road, the shuttles are on time (not much waiting) and the drivers are nice and attentive. We book the villa with a pool, the room itself is spacious for 2 people and the pool is nice with a view of the ocean. It has all the amenities but there are a few things here and there that can be improved: 1) outlet in the bathroom are hard to plug in, you'd really have to force the plug in 2) hair dryer cannot be turned off, and the switch is stuck so we were able to use only one setting We booked a romantic dinner and it was average at best. The food were cold, over-seasoned (some were too salty, some were too spicy), NOT what I'd expect from the 5-star hotel restaurant. You can find better food at some of the mom-and-pop restaurants down the road The staff can also improved on communication and service level. We ordered room service, but it took 1.5 hours and 3 calls for the food to be delivered. Morning of our checkout, we called for the shuttle to pick up our luggage, but they sent someone to checkout our room instead Overall the hotel is nice, good amenities but the service can be improved a lot more

The view!!! Can’t say enough about the view and the beauty of the grounds. The staff was amazing and check in was a breeze.

Amazing time at Amatara. The resort and staff were great …. Did yoga and all the teachers were nice ! I enjoyed my sea view villa … breakfast was delicious … a lot of choice … their bread pudding is just the best! The rooftop bar has an amazing view.

I was sexually harassed while staying at this resort, and it made for very uncomfortable stay because I was a solo traveler. My room was especially isolated and I needed a golf cart just to get to it and had to rely on male staff. I complain to the manager, and he tried to tell me it was a language issue, he continued to gaslight me even after I explained to him that his employee had been clearly hitting on me multiple times.

Love the vibes, so clean helpful stuff, good service, rooms are nice and clean. The only thing it’s far from most tourist places

Ok 4 star hotel but definitely not 5*. Some Staff were very friendly and helpful but most are on their mobile and appear demotivated (no comparison to other hotels). No management visible in the hotel and the clima within the team seems tensed. Thai restaurant should be closed as the food is inedible. Breakfast averge but low food quality without h any Charme in the resuarant (felt like in an hospital cantine). Infrastructure ok but not well maintained. Beach is a catastrophe. Pay attention: room rates are low but you pay for everything extra and do not expect a 5* (ratet an average 4 star hotel). Also note that this wellbeing marketing messages and pictures appear like professional luxury retreat or resort but beside in one restaurant there is no wellbeing thought in this hotel rather a place for groups.

Love this property, perfect for a relaxing holiday

A really fantastic, chill resort. Top quality from the rooms and pool and especially the staff. Super accommodating. And the local shops, restaurants and massage parlors just outside the front gate provided excellent service and quality.

In general, the facilities of this property is old and not very functional. The front dest didn’t give the type of room we reserved 2 months ago instead of excused upgrades us to better standard room, which was not true better. That area around that property is not very ready for international tourists visit and some of them are really not friendly with tourist from China especially

Excellent Staff

For my birthday, I decided to take a trip to Asia and stayed at Amatara in Phuket for part of the trip. It was very nice and peaceful, the staff was very accommodating and respectful. They even made my special day even more special by singing happy birthday for me at breakfast and bringing me a cake. To top it all off, after visiting James Bond island, I came back to find my bed covered in rose petals spelling out HBD, there was also a ‘delicious’ towel cake to complete the scene. The spa services were excellent. I spent 6hrs one day getting pampered, scrubbed and massaged. The ultimate detox spa treatment was well worth it. I continued to reap the benefits weeks after treatment. To sum it up, it was a great experience and I look forward to visiting Phuket again and staying at Amatara.

If your are thinking about booking this resort, BOOK IT! My fiancé and I made memories that will last a lifetime. The resort was beautiful and clean with spectacular views. The food was amazing and they had a wide selection. The staff was amazing and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Breakfast buffet and the restaurant has limited menu. The Villa’s pool needs to be cleaned from the leaves and some dead trees need to be removed to improve the bay view.

If you looking for a quiet place with awesome staff that’s the place!!

The staff was extremely accommodating to all requests. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed while you are here.

Staff were wonderful. Beautiful setting also though some industrial ships in the view.

The stay was amazing minus the food and slow service of the restaurants there. There was mold on my food, part of the lamb was cold and it took 30 minutes just to get our water with 3 workers on the floor and only 4 tables with people . The restaurants get a 0 star and the rest is 5 star .

First I have to say thanks for Jasper at the reception she was a great person.. I stayed at private pool room and i will recommend room 59 or 70 for the full privacy if you are looking for one .. everything was great and definitely will stay here again

Breathtaking view. Exceptionally beautiful . All you need in one place. The food is delicious. The service is spectacular. Nothing negative to say!! Perfect 👍

Everything was excellent

Good : customer service. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Buggy service is quick. Beautiful tiny strip of beach. Good spa therapists. Daily free laundry service. Toiletries good quality as are towels. Bad: breakfast. Have to make own tea coffee. Selection not great. Flies everywhere. Limited fruit. Nuts cheeses etc. rooms are dated. Changed first room due to damp smell and none existent ocean view as covered with over grown trees. Poor food at restaurants therefore had to eat out every night. Terrace never swept and sun beds are dirty and old. I don’t get the wellness element. Have to pay for Pilates yoga classes. Standard gym. Confusing Ugly: stayed Villa 33 which was rather spooky. Didn’t sleep kept hearing odd sounds :/ doors slamming in the middle of the night. Very dim lighting and no switch works! woke up to dead cockroaches strewn on floor and AC packed up. It’s bugs galore in the room! Massive spiders, red ants, cockroaches and lots of mosquitos!
