Clean and well maintained. Room was rather small for 2 adults and 2 children. Very little storage space.

We would have given a 5 for the service as everyone except one member of staff were consistently exceptional. Someone even placed balloons and little gifts for our daughters whose birthday surprise this holiday was for! However, we had several encounters with one lady who was behind the bar serving in the evening on Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd. She was consistently rude and dismissive to everyone in our party. We couldn’t put our finger on what it was about us that bothered her so much as we were always polite in our interactions with her but she was quite unpleasant on each and every occasion we had to communicate with her. Other than that one particular young woman though, every other staff member went above and beyond with their service and attitude. It’s such a shame that we came into contact with her as otherwise, our stay would have been perfect. I’m sorry we didn’t catch her name in order for you to properly address this.

clean, quiet, excellent

Stayed for a few days break with my grandson and wife and was perfect for a city break hotel was a bit further out than we thought but taxis right outside and metro just 10 minute walk. Hotel is spotless ,staff very helpful and pool area is is very clean and lovely to sit round at the end of the day,

Overall, it was quite good. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and they are much cheaper compared to those in the city center. There's also a shopping mall and a supermarket nearby. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the subway station. The surrounding area of the hotel is relatively quiet. Surprisingly, around midnight, there was a family playing and laughing in the lobby, making it quite lively. However, the noise didn't affect our rest in the room. The hotel facilities are somewhat outdated, but they are still very clean. Every night at midnight, the exhaust fan in the bathroom would stop working. Overall, the hotel is acceptable.

We did a last-minute booking, the hotel was perfect for what we need after a busy and hectic day. The receptionist was very helpful.

I have to say we were disappointed. At first we were impressed with the lobby & reception area which looked modern, clean & a friendly welcome. But then it started to go downhill. Firstly we got bitten loads by some insect as soon as we entered the pool area. Then we had lunch at the restaurant where the lady serving us was coughing constantly while serving our food and drink. Although she was wearing a mask, personally we felt that if you're serving food and have a cough that bad, perhaps you shouldn't be working until you feel better. We then went to our room. Looked clean and pleasant enough at first sight but then after trying to sleep in there we discovered the air conditioning wasn't strong enough to cool the room down to a comfortable level. Then an awful smell started to come from the bathroom (it wasn't us) and finally we woke up with more insect bites. I complained to the reception staff who were very apologetic and put us in another room and gave us 4 free drinks to apologise for the inconvenience. The new room didn't smell & the air conditioning was stronger but we still were bitten again by something. Therefore overall not a great stay at all and left disappointed for a stay at a Novotel hotel.
