We were in town for Family Weekend at HWS. The hotel is conveniently located, and the price was reasonable. It was a decent place to sleep, but the overall vibe of the place is dated. Nothing fancy, pretty slim pickings for breakfast choices, not dirty but I'm not sure it would pass the "white-glove" test. If you're just passing through, it will do for a night, but wouldn't be my first choice for a vacation stay.

The room was rather chilly and we had to ask for an extra blanket. It seemed to be on the damp side as well. Breakfast was the usual carbs. Good location.

Property needs attention inside and out. Beds sooooo uncomfortable. Although clean, low end on everything even down to coffee cups.

The hotel was perfect just for a place to crash for the night but I do feel that I did not get a room that was worth what I paid. $250 a night is pretty steep for the fingerlakes area especially when everything seemed pretty dated. Other than the issue of cost, it was perfect for staying the night after a wedding at belhurst. I also appreciated how clean the entire property was. Being welcomed by the smell of bleach and cleaning products always makes me feel more comfortable.

Just a few comments to help. Bathtub drain needs to be plunged. So slow we wound up with 10" of water in tub after a shower. Fridge needed defrosting, I did it for you before we checked out of our room. Ironing board cover had no draw string, made it almost impossible to iron clothes. Dirty under rim of toilet. Remote control for TV needs repair, battery cover falls off then batteries fall out. Back entry door lock didn't work to enter 1st floor, anyone could get into building. None of these are "deal Breaker", but you can't fix problems you might not be aware of. Thank you.

My stay was fine & the hotel was nice. The bill for my room that was the issue. I paid for it on the Hotels.com app when I booked my room. When I checked in online ahead of time, the hotel requested my credit card for incidentals. Before I checked out, my card was charged by the hotel. I explained to the manager that I was double billed & provided him with documents to prove it. He apologized & advised he would research & get back to me ASAP. He stated that Hotels.com did not provide them with my credit card info. I am assuming that he meant that Hotels.com did not pay them. He called me on my drive home & advised I would be refunded in 48 to 72 hours, which I did. However, the refund was taken back again. It was refunded again & then I waited a few days to see if it was taken back again & it was not. I liked the hotel & may stay there again, as it is very close to my son’s college for when I drop him off or pick him up. However, I need to rethink how I will pay for next time, as it was very inconvenient. I am not sure where the disconnect was, but it needs to be resolved for future customers.

Comfortable bed. Easy check in. Small dining area made it difficult to eat with the crowd there on the holiday weekend. No elaborate breakfast, just satisfactory. No elevator which was a disappointment.

The first room we were given had curtains that didn’t close and the spotlight from the outside of the hotel shone directly into the room. The second room had a dirty toilet, the drain in the sink was clogged and didn’t drain, and the fridge didn’t work.

The hotel was clean. The man at the front desk was very kind. The bed was very uncomfortable. The heater smelled like a toaster burning. The place was dingy and needs some updating.

It was a parent that the cleaning of our room was unsatisfactory. There were dirty objects i.e. a fork and a sanitary wipe that looked as if they were there in the room for quite a while. We stayed for two nights and when we came back after our first day the objects were still there. The freezer had looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. We have photos to substantiate this claim.

We were allowed to check in early which was nice. The room smelled musty. The sheets felt wet even though they were clean. It was super cold. The floors were wet from moisture especially the bathroom. When we came back from the concert, all the same conditions occurred. The sheets and the floors were wet. Turn the heat on but didn’t just made it warm but the smell and wet conditions remained. Paid more money than what I usually pay because this was the cheapest option for the area Hotels are overpriced for Geneva and Canandaigua. Like picking out hotels for New York City instead of the Finger Lakes!

When we arrived, one of the housekeepers was folding laundry in the lobby, some of which had fallen onto the floor. The desk clerk barely spoke English and check-in took a long time. The rooms are outdated and not well cleaned. Only one receptacle on the bed wall and so one of the bed lamps could not even be plugged in. Would not give me the Wi-Fi password but did offer to put it into my phone directly. Room was overpriced for what it is and even though we had non-refundable reservations for two nights, we elected to stay elsewhere. I am surprised that Days Inn allows its sign to be displayed on this property.

Entire facility was very outdated and musty. Our room floors were very slippery and the room smelled of excessive chemical use. Toilet paper dispenser was broken. Noise level from other occupants in the hall way woke my wife and I up several times atter 1:00 am. The room cost us $232.00 and it should have only been in the $80-100 range. I told my wife I would rather sleep in our car, after the concert we were attending, rather than go back to the room we had paid for. Room furniture was shoddy and seat cushions mismatched. The mattress was very firm, which I didn't mind, but the wife hated it.

Didn't like the way room was cleaned there was lipstick behind night stand and a ball behind chair, empty wine box in drawer, I repaired the closet hanger hooks & pole as they were on the bottom. The back stair case had animal crackers on the stairs for Saturday night untill we left Monday .
