A little worn in some areas but overall it was a decently comfortable and clean stay. I didn’t like that the service desk lady told my wife she couldn’t take her service dog to breakfast when she was just taking him out to potty in the morning. I asked her if there were a lot of people in there and maybe that’s why the lady was worried she was walking by but she said it was empty. We also thought it was weird they leave the back door unlocked all night and the parking lot is dark back there with a decent amount of foot traffic.

The only positive is its proximity to PSU. Other than that everything else is unbearable. Property is not well maintained and is dirty. Breakfast is not at par with other breakfast-included properties. There are going to be more visits to PSU and I definitely do not consider staying here again

For a discount hotel, it was clean, desk staff were wonderful and breakfast was included. Even though I didn’t bring my dog it’s only $25 extra for a a pet, not weight limit. So glad to hear that option exists.

The location of the property was perfect included parking and breakfast. Breakfast was average. We had to cut short our stay because we couldn't deal with the smell in the room.IT was there as soon as we opened the door. But the night check in person did not give us any other option. The smell made me wonder about the cleanliness or mold. It seems ground floor was worse than second floor.

Our carpet was soaked with either a spill or leak from the bathroom and the staff quickly moved us to a different room.

The rooms are clean but need updating. However, the room had a bad smell probably from the carpeting. Convenient location if visiting the university. Way over priced since we booked the room during college visit for fall semester move-in day.

Perfect location, being close to University and downtown.. Big and clean rooms, functional breakfast, lots of eating options close by, such as Subway, McDonald's, Wendy's etc. The property has amazing staff who would fit right in into any Hyatt or Marriott staff in any big city....

Everything was great. Front desk was always helpful. The breakfast was ok but unlike most places it stayed open past 8 am! I think I came out of my room around 9:30 and was still able to get coffee!

I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were very clean. The night staff was exceptionally helpful and gave us good references and directions. It was relatively quiet. The beds were comfy and the pillows were just right.

Nice hotel. Bed was a little squishy for my taste, but still comfortable. A/C was working good.Room was clean. We were here during Penn State Blue and Gold day, so breakfast was the only hink. Families all trting to get food at the same time. Not Hotels fault, but suggestions to improve during College event days.(especially when families with young kids are here as well.) Maybe a few chafing dishes with premade waffles or pancakes. An additional place for adults who just need to get coffee to go.

We stayed at this facility for a wedding we attended in Port Matilda. If you’ve never been to State College this is the place to stay. Nice clean facility inside and out. Quick check-in and out, friendly staff, and nice breakfast bar. Would definitely stay here again.

The Days in by Wyndham on Atherton in State College PA turned out to be a very nice stay. The hotel staff was friendly. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom was roomy, and I like the fact that it had shampoos and body wash available in the shower. The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was simple, but good. I enjoyed the waffles. There were choices of waffles,yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, fruit, coffee, and juices.
