Very quiet and respectful area.. Would definitely recommend a stay.... overall a pleasant visit

The first room I was given wasn’t cleaned from the previous guest. When I told the front desk she laughed about it. The next room was very dirty, had a weird smell. It had a broken a/c, the towel bar was pulled out of the wall, the paint was peeling and chipped everywhere and there were bugs everywhere. Don’t stay here.

Easy parking Friendly and helpful staff

It was a place to crash for the night. No coffee or any amenities and the sheets were clean but the room needed a good deep clean. The ac was broke when I got there but I really needed to sleep so it was good enough for what I needed. Way overpriced for the condition the place is in and really needs some updated maintenance.

We weren't able to stay here as Mt. Shasta was in a major heat wave and the motel's A/C unit was dead. The Manager was friendly and super helpful with canceling our reservation and giving us area stay recommendations.

Great place and location for the price.

Air Conditioning wasn't working, and we weren't told until check-in. It was a miserable experience, but not sure we want to sleep in the blankets anyway because the room wasn't very clean.

AC not working

The room was extremely dirty. When we went to ask for help, they told us that they would clean it the next day, but they weren't sure because we were Mexican. In the end, they didn't clean it for three days, and when we went to check out, the manager came out very aggressively, shouting that they weren't going to give us anything back, something we didn't ask for. We wanted them to respect the agreement that one signs at the time of checking in. It would be good if the owners did a little research about their management.

Arrived at 10 pm to find after paying over $100 for room that there was no air conditioning during a heat wave. It was 92 degrees at 10pm. No fan, no air conditioning, no screen on 1st floor room, no refrigerator, room dirty, bathroom so dirty I couldn’t even shower to escape heat. I was told motel 6 was thinking to close location or take their name off of location due to the issues; but should feel lucky as I was getting $20off my room. When I sat on the bed it about folded in half. Was told the owner from San Francisco was there and that property was sold out( not many cars for it to be sold out) and that “no” owner was not even willing to provide fans for rooms. Not safe to put a fan in the window anyway because not even the illusion of a screen on window for safety. Would have been better off sleeping in the car on the side of the road. Avoid this property like the plague. Kid at desk was nice and apologetic

Room AC wasn't cold and the fan hardly worked. Inside temp was in the 80s while outside was in the low 60s. Poor air circulation, no window screen, and I had to leave both the door and window open the entire time to try and cool off the room. Great if all you need is a small hot room with a couple towels and some bars of soap with a feeble shower. I would have rather slept outside to be honest. Friendly staff and super easy check in/out with plenty of shaded parking spots.

The AC does not work. But at least I was given two fans. I should have gotten a reduced rate. I will be cautious using Motel 6 from now on.

There was no AC in all rooms. Weed, CA in July AC is a must. My wife has breathing issues so we didnt check in.

The AC was not working and he gave us a room that wasn’t even cleaned. The beds were not even made.

We showed up around 11/1130 the evening of our reservation. We walk in to signs on the window saying no ac. It was cool-Ish outside so we anticipated using a fan and opening the window. We get to the room and it's stuffy and hot. The window had no screen so we couldn't keep it open nor the door due to bugs. We asked for a refund and the front desk guy was cool with giving us one because of the issue.

Was informed at the time of arrival that all the rooms air conditioning was out. It was 115 degrees outside. There was no talk of how they were working to resolve the broken ac. The front desk guy was super friendly and a way cool guy. He tried helping me get a hold of hotels.com customer service for a refund but we weren’t having luck with that. So I eventually just realized this is where I was staying for my two-day stay. He gave me a fan for the room and even offered me to check another room to see if that was cooler, since the first room had 2 big horseflies. The 2nd room was even hotter, so I just went back to the 1st room and decided to befriend the flies.

Good place!

I don't stay in because ac is not working on the hotel and they keep advertising the hotel like there's nothing wrong with it

First, the employee at the front desk was very nice and professional. Very patient and helpful. The first room we were assigned, reeked of ground-in cigarette smoke even though there was a no smoking sign on the door. We got a different room, which was better. Then we turned on the a/c…cigarette smoke all night long. It was a 100 degrees so it was necessary to have a/c. Nasty. To be fair, we are at a different budget motel tonight and it’s exactly the same. Non smoking room, cigarette ambiance. Ick.

The one strength about this property is that it is safe. Extremely well lit which made me feel good about the bikes on my car but it was so well lit outside with flourescent lights that I couldn't sleep!

Air conditioner was not working for the entire property. These things should be notified before hand and not at the time of check-in!!! By the time we were checking in, there were vacancies in the area in nearby hotels, and we were left stuck with a room with no air conditioner on a summer night. Not at all ethical.

Our supposedly stay in this hotel were cancelled by the staff upon our check in due to their AC breakdown. We were not notified by any means so at least we could’ve check in in other hotels. Yes we were given option to stay but no discount can be given and no more fan available because its all be given out with other guest on first come first serve basis. We wont be able to stay and survived without any ventilation in the midst of heatwave. I have booked this hotel 3 months ahead. Will never ever be option for this hotel in the future. Staff not so accommodating and friendly and not so apologetic for the crisis that we were put in. We ended up driving around town in the evening , so much inconvenience. This review could’ve been avoided if we were notified ahead and not at the time of our check-in.

I know it's a Motel 6, but no air conditioning when it has been over 100 degrees all day. Staff just seemed apathetic. No amenities at all. And just dirty all around the motel. I have stayed at other Motel 6's before but this was the worst, and probably one of the worst motels i have ever stayed in.

No AC on a HOT SUMMER DAY! Then TV blacked out! Called front desk for room.move....given keys to 1st floor...alittke cooler on groubd floor but no rug on 2nd floor & woke to moving furniture upstairs..a miserable nights sleep.

Disappointed at this place for $110 dollars this room is so dirty floor never cleaned sheets looked like they haven’t been washed they are suppose to be white and there a gray color. Bathroom shower horrible. I can’t believe city even allows this place to be open and charge people. They need to close this place down and get a deep clean. They have a sign at check in that not 1 room has AC. The mattress seems like they are 30 years old. Nothing works in this room never ever will I stay here again.
