The location is perfect and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. Internet access is very fluid. One small improvement could be made in re. the kitchen cleaning supplies/bathroom supplies, too limited for a stay longer than a week. But overall very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Convenient to get city centre and university area. Overall clean and quiet, but too tiny shower. They offer room-cleaning service once a week.

Beds were very uncomfortable and was a sofa bed so sqeeked at every move. Bathroom too small, shower very tight, hot water tank was directly over WC so difficult for a man to use and banging the head when standing up.

Not too far for all the local attractions. Felt safe walking at night. Appartment basic but comfortable and secure - apart from the pillows. Pleasant reception area. Didnt realise we would have to take our own rubbish out.

I was so thrilled with my stay at Séjours & Affaires La Rochelle les Minimes! The rooms are kept very clean, extremely spacious and well-equipped with a great kitchenette, and within reasonable walking distance (20 minutes at most) of everything I needed and wanted to do in La Rochelle - the Vieux Port, the Aquarium, movie theatre, grocery, and university. The price was also unbelievable for everything, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. An excellent place to stay!!

Fab service fab price . Very clean . Room good. Great location as 15 mins from beach and town. Only slight negative as in the centre of deserted uni campus I was often a little worried on the last 5 mins of the walk home . Would have stayed out later if had been nearer to town. Also reception finish at 7 pm every evening and accommodations felt a little isolated. However everything else was great .

Basic but good budget accommodation, in university campus. Secure underground parking and bike storage, laundry facilities. Very helpful reception staff. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarket nearby. Could possibly be noisy during main uni term but quiet in mid June.
La Rochelle and Ile de Re beautiful.

We have been in quite a few hotels in the past month and this has been so far the best stay we had. The hotel isnt that far from the train station but it is also on the university campus so a little outside the downtown area and the old town. It is however not far at all, some 10-15 min walk. Being in the university area you would think that it would be loud and noisy but it is just the opposite. The room itself was great. There was enough space with a desk and a little pull out kitchen table. There is also a little balcony. The biggest advantage is the little kitchenette that has everything you need if you like to prepare your own food. The bathroom is nice as well with a neat shower. There is also laundry room that was not expensive but just make sure that you ask for the right token for the dryer if you use it :). The price is very great given everything that you get.

As I arrived at a bank holiday weekend there was nobody on reception until Monday but I received a call from management the day before I travelled and was given codes to access the building and the safe to pick up my key which worked out fine. The room was comfortable and well equipped. It was very clean.Generally the building was quiet enough but I was aware of the guest in the apt moving around above my head all night which made it abit difficult to sleep so a little more sound proofing would be welcome but overall the apt was fine the location was great and I thought the price I paid for my stay was reasonable.

very well located, 15 mins walk from town centre or the beach. Facilities are good, staff nice and friendly. The only downside was the temperature in the room as it was really hot outside and the door/window leading on the balcony does not really allow for the room to cool down. We really enjoyed being able to make our food and live how we wanted which we couldnt in a traditional hotel.

I found the staff at reception very nice and they obligingly took our bags at 10am which freed us up to head off around La Rochelle for a few hours til check in at 3pm..one particular girl ( I forget her name) was very helpful and pleasant. The apartment was up a dark stairwell and on first inspection looked clean but there was dust around the place and old magazines under the book case which wouldnt have been there if the place was thoroughly cleaned. The beds were clean and freshly made up with clean sheets but had desperately uncomfortable thin mattresses.

+ quiet, clean, enough space, sufficiently equipped
- hard to find, a bit walking distance from city center (i didn't mind tho)
I haven't met any staff member as this hotel doesnt have 24hrs reception service and i was leaving early in morning and returning back late in evening

There are a few problems in the room. The toilet smells, probably due to the pipes and nothing much could be done. Its a self catering accommodation and the room is spacious wth enough facilities n utensils for cooking. There is a carrefour supermarket nearby. The.service was good as staff tried to help fixing the problems right away after receiving our feedback like buzzing sound from tv and missing chairs in the room. The acco is wthin walking distance to railway station and city centre. Quite a nice city wth smallbeaches and lots of restaurants. There are electric cars around. The city is taking the initiative to promote it. Its a sustainable city wth future developmemt due to the development of university arts eco cycling paths.a nice relaxing city.

Overall this was an ok no frills place to stay. We had a few problems finding it as it is in a maze of university buildings. The sat nav took us to close by but then we walked around in the rain for 20 minutes looking for the reception. My advice would be to look for the big building with the triangular sloping roof which kind of points down the small side street that you need. Once we got booked in we went to the room which on first look seemed a bit grim but actually once we got all our stuff in and went to the local supermarket and filled the fridge it seemed more comfortable (the sun had come out by then and we had dried off too!) One thing that there was no escaping was the fact that the bed though comfortable was a fold out sofa bed which from the pictures we looked at on Expedia we were not expecting. We cooked a couple of evenings. The cooker was good and there were all the utensils and crockery that we needed. The bathroom was adequate - clean with a shower sink and toilet. The shower cubical was a bit small to move in particularly for my partner who is 6ft 3! Near to the apartment there were a few restaurant/cafes and a mini market and if your French is any good a Cinema. It is about a 10-15 minute walk into La Rochelle itself from these apartments. We are a couple in our late 20's early 30's and we aren't particularly fussy so for us this was fine. If you are a more picky person you may well notice other problems/faults that we were prepared to overlook.

The Staff of the Hotel could not have been more helpful, and the rooms were good size and very clean and comfortable, it was close to the beach and the town about a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town, but a short walk away was a ferry to take you across or jusyt around the cornor a bus service to take you into the centre or the other way a beach so in all a lovely place to stay and I would return.
