It was mine and my wife’s birthdays with Thanksgiving in between. We were greeted by Teresa and she was very pleasant and hospitable and you should be proud to have such a
good employee. She checked us in quickly and told us our stay was paid for by our daughter. That was such a wonderful surprise, we proceeded to tour the facility and was greeted by Rachel in housekeeping who told us about the rewards program which we will be looking into. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and the wonderful breakfasts and an evening in the saloon. We enjoyed our stay immensely we will be staying with you again, Thank You for the pleasant stay.

This hotel was a bit of a surprise! It is small but cozy. The rooms are clean and average size. The whole hotel is cute--but it is the staff that really makes it so homey! They are friendly, helpful and treat you like family.

Almost need a floor plan to know your way around. The mattress was strange like sleeping on bubble wrap. Otherwise good. Near historic downtown.

Great stay here in Galena. The location was great to nearby amenities and downtown shopping was not far at all. The decor was outdoorsy and was nice with a bar on site and the breakfast was good.

We were supposed to have a room with a fireplace and whirlpool and only got the whirlpool but paid for the other. I am expecting a credit for this as this was an important over night stay for us. I expect to hear back and receive a credit on this.

Exterior was very nice. They were understaffed and had to wait to check in room wasn’t ready yet. When finally got checked in was a very long line. Room was clean but outdated and worn. Overall was good experience. For price paid was expecting a little more

The toilet paper holder was also holding a spare roll so in order to use the paper you had to push back the spare and pull the front roll with the other hand. The holder was also in an odd place in front of the sink and you would hit it when using the sink. The bed was nice and soft-just right.

The doorknob to the bathroom was dangling when we checked in and eventually fell off. The toilet would not flush. And I guess our shower was leaking into the bathroom below ours😂 The bed was not comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very nice, though.

We only stayed one night, but the accommodations were wonderful! We even got a room with a Jacuzzi, which was not expected, but greatly appreciated! We would definitely come back again!

I called the hotel to let them know I was going to be running very late upon check-in when I called the phone rang and rang and rang and no one answered. I get a phone call back from Mr. saying that she would Check me in even though I wasn’t there yet this way I will not get charged as a late fee or a no-show. When I arrived At Stoney Creek Inn I was given my room Keys at 1:30 in the morning. We had the best time at this hotel couldn’t ask for the best customer service ever.. eventually, I got to meet the lady Teresa. She was so kind and very knowledgeable. Just want to say if you’re in town stop at the Stan Creek for the great customer service you’ll receive the pool was nice. The Jacuzzi was hot. The fix could’ve been a little bit better, but the coffee was amazing .

The room needed more light. For us, we would have liked another place to charge up our phones on the other side of the bed.

Wi-Fi was ok too. Great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic pool area with a hot tub. Good breakfast included with the stay. It’s unfortunate it couldn’t be located in a more rustic setting. I suspect it was more rural at one time then development around it started. If we get back to Galena, we’ll definitely stay there again.

There was a problem with the reservation getting through to hotel, though it had been paid in full. The desk manager worked to get it taken care of right away and upgraded or room for the weekend. Very helpful and we appreciated it.

Room was perfect for a girls weekend that included an infant. Clean with rustic features typical for Stoney Creek make it feel homey. All the employees were exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was typical for hotel breakfast with good hot options. Have stayed here before and would definitely stay again. Shower was awesome.

The rooms are very nice & free breakfast is great. There is a bar onsite. Walkable to McDonald's, a buffet style Mexican food & also a Mexican restaurant. Walkable to the Piggly Wiggly grocery store. A short drive to historic downtown shopping, restaurants & bars. You won't be disappointed.

Everything was very clean! Staff very kind and helpful! Loved Teresa at the front desk. She had popped popcorn for guests and had not even put salt on it being mindful of more of elderly guests who have BP problems. Not everyone would be that thoughtful. Then they still had 3 favorful salts you could choose to use yourself. Yes, we would stay there again!!

Check in process was flawless. Friendly staff. Came with another couple and wanted our rooms to be near each other. In order to do that we were upgraded. Also after a day of shopping and dining in Galena it's nice to go back and hit the pool and hot tub

Two night stay. Staff was extremely friendly, professional and helpful! Everything was well taken care of. Breakfast was good. The pool area was very nice as well. Easy in and out for town access as well! We will stay here in the future!

Strong smoker smell, doors were chipped and wore in the bathroom and to room on the inside. The door to the room had a gap along the door frame and on the bottom allowing light in from hallway. We had to put a towel along the bottom of the door.
We had to remove the mattress cover due to it making a crunching noise every time we moved.
The breakfast was subpar. The lady running it was rude and staring emptying the coffee and juice area before it was to end. The “fitness room” was ridiculous. Nothing to clean the treadmill after use and stained with sweat. The “weights area” only has a few dumbbells and I wouldn’t even touch them. Gross. I would recommend staying elsewhere. The front desk staff were friendly if that makes any difference.
