Very nice property and location. It definitely had an old-school, quiet feel to it. I would've liked a small fridge and microwave in the room, instead of the one shared on the 2nd floor. Also, I didn't see, when booking, that there were stairs and no elevator. The staff were all very friendly.

My 64th Birthday stay. We arrived on Wednesday, I watched the Sunrise on Thursday morning- my Birthday. Breakfast, included in our stay, was wonderful! I decided to rest by the pool and enjoy the beauty of my surroundings. THEN the Lawn Guys arrived- weed whackers, blowers- SO LOUD!! I went back to my Room - the Smoke Detectors, ALL 3 were BEEPING!! NEXT, at 3pm- the Locksmith arrives! Drilling and BANGING the Front Door, steps away from my Room!! I mentioned this to the Manager, at Check Out, the next day. His response- Thursday's are Maintenance Days. OMG!! Thanks for the heads up! So much for my quiet, relaxing Birthday!! UGH
Some compensation would have been appreciated- chocolates work. They Sell them in the Lobby - oh well, Customer Service helps.

The management & staff were exceptional in every sense of the word. Everyone was attentive, helpful, professional & courteous. Actually they were a fun group.
The only situation we were uncomfortable with concerned the rate of decent of the stairs leading to our room. That being said the view from the room made it worth while. We will definately return but request a rppm on the main lodge. EAD

We liked that we were right on the ocean and could see the tide come in and out. Also, it was fun to watch the lobster fishermen harvest their catch. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was first rate. We would like to come back sometime.

We loved this Inn and luckily were able to extend another day. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Lovely view by the water. Breakfasts were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Yankee Clipper. The Inn is beautiful, and the location stunning. The property has obviously been meticulously maintained and updated. And to top it off there is a delicious made-to-order breakfast every morning. We highly recommend this beautiful Inn!

Their check-in process was pleasant. Our room was beautiful and had all the special touches you don’t necessarily see at other places. The grounds are also beautiful! We are already planning our next stay 🙂

We paid for an ocean front property as advertised. We were very disappointed when we arrived we were told there are no rooms available on any of the ocean front properties and they nonchalantly put us in a very old run down house across the street right on the street with a dumpster view. The window blinds were broken or just fixed down so they were down all the time making the room even darker. I was so embarrassed as I had invited my friend and she even said the mattresses were so old and sagging and even the bed linens were very old. We did not take showers and checked out the next morning. I wish it was more transparent online. I don’t give negative reviews but I thought I would have liked to know about these before booking.

The beauty of the location and the views from the rooms are excellent. Mike, Cassandra and the Chef are attentive and the made to order breakfast gets the day off to a fine start. A combination of the.accommodations and lovely town made for a great weekend adventure

Breakfast staff was lovely as was breakfast. The room was not. The shower was not connected to bath but in an old closet. It was a hazardous step up and down directly next to the bed. Weird. Also the room smelled musty. The coffee machine did not work and the old door locked us out of the room. This place needs serious updating.

This hotel is full of charm. My friend and I came for a girls weekend. We were wanting quaint and charming and NOT the Hilton. And we got it. Lovely property and the breakfast was AMAZING. thanks for a lovely stay!

Very disappointing trip here at the Yankee Clipper inn - Although we supposedly received an upgraded room - it was tiny with a foul odor with an even tinier bathroom.
The room was not that clean and the noise coming from the upstairs room all night was unbearable- the breakfast was good and our server Claire was lovely. The hotel was certainly not worth the $300 a night we paid for it - we would not return

This is a property in serious need of updating. We were put across the street, and missed out on the beautiful view that we expected. Breakfast was great as was our server. I was expecting quaint but not the run-down, small room with a tiny bathroom was beyond rustic.

We enjoyed our stay 8/16-8/19 Mike the GM was attentive to our needs and friendly. Cassandra was very nice and helpful. Can't say enough about breakfast staff made breakfast very delightful and shout out to chef everything was great looked forward to breakfast everyday. Enjoyed the history of the Yankee Clipper.

Our stvated ay at the Yankee Clipper was for an anniversary weekend. We had a beautiful ocean view room. You're right on the ocean with an elwvated view. The staff couldnt have been nicer, and the breakfasts were great

When we first entered our room, i gasped at the beautiful view. A full length window overlooking the rocks and ocean, what could be better.
We stayed in the Quarterback
Section.
The actual inn itself is historic and well designed with cared for and inviting antique furniture.
The breakfast was super good. Great choice of freshly prepared hot options including a fresh fruit yogurt parfait.
The expansive lawn seating overlooking the vista made me not want to leave the property. It was great having a pool too,
The staff were wonderful and we enjoyed talking with them.
I will definitely go back next time and stay a few more days too.
