Our stay was relaxing and stress free , the staff at the Port Royal are so friendly and welcoming, it was so great to be able to stay poolside for a few hours after we had checked out , I’ve stayed here before and it’s really the only hotel that I know everything will be perfection

We had a great Labor Day getaway! The room was clean, bed was comfy and the ocean-view was gorgeous! The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating! Thank you!

Port Royal is located at the southern end of the Wildwoods. The towns have an awesome bike path along the ocean and the strip of hotels. You can ride bikes on the boardwalk until 1 pm.

Enjoyed the pool and convenient access to the beach! So glad to have separate temperature controls for each room! It made everyone comfortable and happy!

Excellent hotel nice clean rooms ,location is great service was good , pool is excellent with enough space. Music in the park. Used the restaurant for breakfast and the food was tasty and brought out quickly. Will come back. Music in the park , bike rental close by.

The rooms are tiny and on top of each other. We could hear the folks in the next room who were speaking in normal tones as clear as day. To make matters worse, the mattress was like a brick. Most uncomfortable stay I’ve ever had in a hotel!

Very relaxing vacation, very clean newly renovated rooms. Nice pools and the fire pit at night is a really nice touch. Would gladly recommend this hotel to family and friends and will stay here again when visiting Wildwood Crest!

Just an all around great place to stay! On the beach, very friendly staff, on site parking. Have been staying at the Port Royal since the ‘70’s and continues to be my favorite.

From check in to check out this hotel did not disappoint! Our room was beautiful. We loved the balcony overlooking the ocean. The pool was nice. We really loved the restaurant in the hotel and used the pick up window often for mid day snacks. The food was really good! The staff were so friendly. Great location near the beach and the boardwalk entry is about a 10 minute walk. Loved this place so much and will be coming back!

Location cannot be beat. Right on the free beach and next to a playground and splash park. Loved the shallow kids’ pool and on site restaurant. Staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to check in at 11 instead of 4 pm. Rooms were a bit small but balcony was nice. Overall had a great stay and locals in the area also told me this was the best hotel here.

Nice place to stay, on the beach, next do a large splashgroynd and pkayground. The drawback for us was the pool hours. I think it was like 9am to 7pm.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Right on beach. Nice pool are. Adequate parking. Very clean, safe and relaxing community. It is a dry town but restaurants allow BYOB. Also short drive to restaurants outside the town where there are bars.

On check-in, Front desk could not answer any of our questions. They lacked even basic info about hotel. They announced our room number to the entire lobby. Unnecessary and a Security issue. Hotel reeks of mustiness and mold.

Everything was great, very nice hotel. The only issue we noticed was that the pool was not clean, very cloudy and that made it not inviting to want to swim. It also advertised to be heated but was not.

The only reason I
Rated the property condition and facilities with a 4 is because we arrived at the hotel on the second day of its opening for the the season. Understandingly all amenities were not fully ready and available for customer use. All that being said, “the staff” from management and front desk, to the domestic help, maintenance crew, and cafe staff, were very pleasant, helpful, and considerate. We would absolutely consider returning for future visits.

Overall the stay was nice for my husband and the view of ocean was great from the room and balcony . The only disappointment I could not regulate the temperature in the room and it was chilly and I had to asked for extra blankets 🙁 I think you should be able to regulate temperatures in room everyone feels differently in there room and I like to be able to change the temperature .

Property after the high season was quiet and clean. 9n block near beach. No happy staff smiles though. At least not from three of the front staff we encountered. No 'welcome' when we got there in the evening, or 'good morning' when we left at 8 am. Not exactly the welcoming committee....are your customers worth that little to you?

We had a very nice stay here. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a nice ocean view, and everything was clean and worked well. We would definitely stay again.

I don't think that I have ever stayed in a hotel so close to the beach. It was great looking over the balcony toward the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. No complaints.
