The rooms are old and need updating. Blackout curtains would help too.

First let me say this location is IDEAL - lovely, clean, quiet, so comfortable with 99% of the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. That said, we arrived to an empty lobby (and virtually empty secured parking garage) at 3:36pm. We were met (greeted is too friendly a word) by a sullen young man at the front desk. After telling him my name and stating I was there to check-in for the week, he looked at me blankly and stated our room was not ready, said I was early and check-in was not until 4:00. He motioned to the sofa in front of the desk in the empty lobby where we sat until exactly 4pm when the clerk looked up from his computer and announced our room was ready. Seriously?! Despite staying all week, this hotel (siting local health regs) has signage stating housekeeping ONLY services rooms on request. How busy could they be? Off on the wrong foot. The larger issue is that the property has MAJOR problems with an antiquated magnetic strip keycard system - took 5 trips to front desk for demagnetization/key and/or key card replacement facilitated by Mr. Personality. Management was notified by Hotels.com about the front desk issue. Upon check out, manager and senior front desk staff apologized to me for lack of appropriate treatment and offered an appropriate service recovery. All said, I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Centrally located for what we planned to do!

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Not overly impressive. Charged an early arrival fee even though room was ready. Surprised. They did allow a courtesy extension of check out.

Close to ferry and grocery shopping is right across the streer

Very average. Decent enough combinations, large rooms. Lousy breakfast for price point. Overall not a particularly great value at all.

Very clean property, In my opinion, was expensive for the amenities.

The hotel was fine. It is about a 1 mile walk to the center of town. Most of the staff were very friendly. The room was basic and clean. I liked that they have cold drinks and snacks in the lobby available. I did not like the fact that they charge you a $25 early check in especially when the room was ready.

The room stank of dog and the couch had these weird/stained after-market cushion cover things on the cushions. It felt dirty and gross. Not impressed at all.

This is a neat, clean, reasonably priced and satisfactory place to stay in Bainbridge. The staff is friendly and helpful, convenient parking in the garage and easy access to the rest of the island.

The property was well-maintained and the parking situation was ideal. The room was nice, clean, and very comfortable.

Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Free parking in garage was a nice convenience. Free breakfast was also a perk. Would definitely stay here again.

Great value in a nice area.

We had a wonderful stay at Marshall Suites. The staff was excellent, the rooms were spacious and clean, and since we were traveling with our golden retriever, we were pleased to have extra goodies for our dog! Our young son had the best time, and can't wait to return! We also really appreciated the secured parking garage. The breakfast bar with waffles, scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, and assorted breads and cereals was great. We highly recommend the hotel, and plan to stay there again.

Amazing value for the money. Close to transportation corridors and walkable to dining and shopping. Have stayed at this property many times.

I love Bainbridge Island! It is so peaceful and quiet. Property is nice. Small and nice. Good breakfast options.

The lobby/room and spacious. Our children loved the extra perk of having snack, fruits and drink available during the evening. I only wish the breakfast is a little bit better choice selection. Then, I would have given this review another star. Over all, it was a nice stay. The check in and check out was easy, the staff were friendly. It’s across the street from Safeway, Starbucks and eatery. The gas station with convenient store was next store. I would recommend to friends and family, and wouldn’t mind staying here in the future.

The hotel is nice. The ferry going back to Seattle is very scenic. The breakfast was good. The staff is helpful. Convenient shopping across the street. The bed is very comfortable. The cotton linens ave nice and soft for a good night sleep!
