Staff was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. The amenities were provided and the lobby snack bar was great. Really appreciated how accommodating the staff was and how they handled a change in our reservation. Will definitely be back.

This was an "underwhelming" experience. We had to use our room key to enter the hotel after 10 p.m. with nobody at the front desk. The room (and hotel) is quite dated. The "fitness room" is a storage room with a universal machine in it (shouldn't advertise that they have one, really). But the front desk clerks were pleasant and stored our bags after checkout for a bit while we meandered about. The location is very convenient, too.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. The lobby area offered more complimentary snacks and beverages than ANY hotel I've ever stayed at! It is a short walk to Safeway, Rite-Aid, pizza, Starbucks.... and more. Check-in and out was quick and easy. I was so happy I did not return to the "other" hotel close by..... this was 1000% better for almost the same price. It was just a few minutes drive from the Seattle ferry. I stayed here before cruising from Seattle.

It is easy to see that the facility is convenient to food, shopping, and services, is comfortable, clean, and well-appointed but the most important feather is that the service level is top-notch, with staff who “mind the details.” Without exception the staff was more than willing to accommodate even with a couple of my quirky requests. They responded to each one of my messages and/or questions. Communication was superb.
Everyone was so gracious and informative regarding the hotel amenities, local travel, and dining. I would like to call out Zoe for her front desk expertise - she remembered me from an August visit when I had a less than stellar experience from a staff member (who no longer works there) offering reassurance that I would not experience anything other than attentive hospitality and enthusiastic staff collaboration. I spent 30+ years traveling 90% of the time yet this hotel has been one of the best! My post-retirement, post-Covid era travel apprehensions vaporized with expectations EXCEEDED.

Marshall Suites is a good alternative on Bainbridge. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The complementary snacks and drinks in the lobby are very much appreciated.
The only minuses are that it is located a bit too far from the downtown core to walk to and the included breakfast is lacking a meat component. After all, what's eggs without bacon or sausage?

The bed next to the wall was in need of a turn over or another mattress. It tilted Toto one side.

We only stayed for one night but everything was great! The hotel was conveniently located to dining and shopping venues. The room was spotless, quiet and comfortable and we had a lovely night's sleep.

Was walkable to ferry (but we are fit walkers). We enjoyed location for walking to dining also. Room was good. Would stay here again.

The hotel had the following issues:
- The bathroom had ants (guess they know about it as there was an ant trap in the bathroom)
- The toilet was a strange one; when you flush it the water in the bowl is HOT and therefor when you sit on the seat you really sweat
- breakfast was just a pass; basically eggs and bagel
- no one at the front desk after 10:00 pm
I would give it a 3 and that is stretching it.

The rooms are old and need updating. Blackout curtains would help too.

First let me say this location is IDEAL - lovely, clean, quiet, so comfortable with 99% of the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. That said, we arrived to an empty lobby (and virtually empty secured parking garage) at 3:36pm. We were met (greeted is too friendly a word) by a sullen young man at the front desk. After telling him my name and stating I was there to check-in for the week, he looked at me blankly and stated our room was not ready, said I was early and check-in was not until 4:00. He motioned to the sofa in front of the desk in the empty lobby where we sat until exactly 4pm when the clerk looked up from his computer and announced our room was ready. Seriously?! Despite staying all week, this hotel (siting local health regs) has signage stating housekeeping ONLY services rooms on request. How busy could they be? Off on the wrong foot. The larger issue is that the property
has MAJOR problems with an antiquated magnetic strip keycard system - took 5 trips to front desk for demagnetization/key and/or key card replacement facilitated by Mr. Personality. Management was notified by Hotels.com about the front desk issue. Upon check out, manager and senior front desk staff apologized to me for lack of appropriate treatment and offered an appropriate service recovery. All said, I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

The staff was really wonderful and kind and made the stay really great. They even went above and beyond to help my son tie his tie right before we were headed to a wedding!

Please please!!!! Stop the plastic waste and invest in a dishwasher and use metal spoons , bowls, etc for breakfast!!! There is so much waste. Breakfast is pretty poor considering I paid over $300/night!!!! I’ve stayed in half the price and had a full breakfast buffet.

The property was in an ideal location. Most things in town were walkable.

Over priced!! There were no amenities. The workout room had only 2 machines, there was no pool or hot tub. Had to ask multiple times for towels & wash clothes. No house keeping unless you requested & then still nothing. The "hot breakfasts" was a joke. If you consider waffles & rubber eggs breakfasts, this is your place. Every morning around 5 & throughout the day, apparently the Olympics gymnastics team was in the room above us. Hated to complain but did anyway & nothing happened. Left unrested. For an additional night they wanted to charge $434. The tub was patched & felt like at any moment you could fall through. The screen was falling out the window so it couldn't be opened. At the most they should have only been charging $145 a night if that. Location was nice & the parking garage was nice. $1200 for 4 nights was definitely too much for this property. I've stayed in much nicer, cleaner, cheaper with a full breakfasts, with staff & room service in San Diego on the water close to downtown. I would not go back for what they charge. Unfortunately at the time that was all that was available in the area. For my 5th night I move on to a Baymont & received more for less.

It was a great stay, very clean and basic but for the price it was a great value. Staff were friendly and helpful, it’s close to several restaurants and a grocery store. The amazing downtown of Bainbridge is just a 20 minute walk.

Not overly impressive. Charged an early arrival fee even though room was ready. Surprised. They did allow a courtesy extension of check out.

Close to ferry and grocery shopping is right across the streer

Very average. Decent enough combinations, large rooms. Lousy breakfast for price point. Overall not a particularly great value at all.

Very clean property, In my opinion, was expensive for the amenities.

The hotel was fine. It is about a 1 mile walk to the center of town. Most of the staff were very friendly. The room was basic and clean. I liked that they have cold drinks and snacks in the lobby available. I did not like the fact that they charge you a $25 early check in especially when the room was ready.
4.0
The room stank of dog and the couch had these weird/stained after-market cushion cover things on the cushions. It felt dirty and gross. Not impressed at all.

This is a neat, clean, reasonably priced and satisfactory place to stay in Bainbridge. The staff is friendly and helpful, convenient parking in the garage and easy access to the rest of the island.
