We like the fact that it was in close proximity to the Hartford healthcare amphitheater where we had tickets to see a show. We like the ease of getting an Uber to transport us.
We did not like the fact that our television did not work. After contacting a staff member and having him give us a new remote, we still were unable to change channels as we had wanted to watch the Olympics, so this was a disappointment.

The room was very small and smelly. Even though we were in the back of the hotel, there was a lot of noise all night long. The toilet didn’t flush in the bathroom and the toilet was incredibly low to the floor. Some parts of the bathroom were remodeled, but the bathtub was old and felt dirty. Definitely not worth what we were charged for the room.

This is an older facility and it shows some wear. The important thing is that the bed is comfortable and the room clean. Yes to both. The room was very small and it's right on the highway, so noisy until about 11. It's in an OK part of Fairfield, not high end but I felt safe. There are restaurants around, and Sally's Apizza has a store nearby. Sally's is really one of America's best pizzeria and I was delighted with the pie, even if this is not the downtown spot. The BW+ breakfast is good, not great. The croissant was not edible; the coffee machine is very good. And there's a Keurig in the room, too. So, good there. Free parking.
I used to be a regular BW customer, 15-25 nights a year, nationwide. But BW isn't rehabbing its properties and they are all getting worn out. I only booked this room because there was nothing else close by. For this money, I would like a bit nicer place.

Very comfortable place to stay. We only stayed one night- arrived late and left early. The breakfast was good. Only negatives were the shades didn’t completely block the bright light outside the room and the doors slam hard, making a loud noise.

Room smelled like smoke. Room otherwise clean. This hotel is right on the busy road so room was noisy. Not good value for price paid.

The room looks like they have been updated recently, including the bathrooms. Room was clean; great value for the money. We only stayed one night and it was perfect. Convenient and close to Fairfield U.

it was good, we only stayed two nights so we didn’t get any room service or cleaning services which sucked but understandable breakfast was good though
