One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!! Everything from the warm welcome from the owner, Sandy to the comfortable sleep I had in the beautiful Victorian style room was wonderful. The hotel is a memorable luxury experience at a great price. I highly recommend this historic hotel for its ambience, lovely host, its beautiful historic architecture, spacious rooms and bathrooms, and the magical view of the mountains. The omelette breakfast was delicious and included in the price. The owner offers additional snacks, beverages, and toiletries. Only 30 minutes to Woodstock and 15 minutes to Windham. Great property and location! This would be a great place for wedding party guests.

This was our first B&B experience. Our room was clean, it was quiet and comfortable. Sandy and her staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really good. The building and rooms have a vintage feel, not some new age cookie cutter stuff...but like an old and comfortable parlor setting. We loved it. We will definitely be back.

If you want take the experience to sleep in the very old town it is the place. The house is more a 100 years and the owners maintain excellent. The breakfast is hand made in the moment. It is super nice place.

The owner hostress were very pleasant, attentive and caring, guiding us even at late night when we had arrived. Very delicious in house-made breakfast cooked fresh per personal order. Very nice room settings and firm comfortable matress. Both AC unit and openable windows satisfies any individual preferences for temperature and fresh air.

The service was fantastic. The owner of the property was so nice. Hotel was clean and breakfast which was included was great. We also enjoyed the amenities. The owner also recommended activities and restaurants in the area which was very helpful. My family really enjoyed our stay and we will be returning again on our next stay.

Stay was great. The Innkeeper was very nice and the perfect host. The interior of the Inn was amazing. The only negative was the cold draft coming into the room from the window behind the bed. Other than that, I would recommend!

The host, Sandy, is very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast is fast and she was able to accommodate my request for earlier dining because I wanted to go early to the ski slope. The room is clean and well-kept. the house is beautiful, and it is just a minute's drive to Hunter.

This was our first stay at a B&B and we were not disappointed. Sandy is an incredibly host and goes above and beyond to help you have the best experience possible. From recommendations for excursions and dining, she also made our stay extra special when she found out it was our anniversary but setting us up in the lounge with the record player. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous and full of character.

It was a beautifully designed inn. Many items from the 1800's The host Sandy was wonderful! Food and service was great! Many interesting attractions near the inn for food, hiking, antiques, and autumn leaf scenery. Comfortable and well maintained. Prices were reasonable too.

By far the most wonderful inn i have ever experienced. My wife and i received a warm and welcoming greeting when we arrived in the very late hours of the night and were ushered up to the most darling room. The entire house is simply enchantingly.

The collection of stain glass lamps is the most beautiful; I have ever seen anywhere. Hostess is attentive and extremely accommodating and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and beautifully furnished.

Very Victorian… original furniture from that period. Beautiful livingrooms, porches, and a pool table in one of the livingrooms. They served breakfast off what appeared to be a basic menu but when the food came out, the flavors were exceptional, fresh, well seasoned, tasty and just delicious. Her breakfast was exceptional. Very clean rooms, not huge but adequate. I suffer from back problems and was pleased find the mattress to be very very comfortable. Spotless bathrooms. A lot of available parking. The owner, Sandy,waits on her guests hand and foot. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Fairlawn Inn was fenominal. It is very cozy, comfortable and relaxing. Sandy, the owner, is a wonderful host that made us feel very welcomed. She is very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. All the suggestions resulted in us having the best vacation while visiting the Hunter area.

My room was spotless - and very comfortable. The house was super clean and accommodating. Wished I could have stayed longer. I slept like a baby. :-) Highly recommend!

The Fairlawn is now our place to stay. The owner was not only 100% involved with her clients, but possibly the nicest person I have ever met in the Catskills. I have been visiting the area for 50+ years and I truly wish I met her years ago. She is simply wonderful. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
