terrible mattresses, rude staff

The first room they gave us, it smells like it has nobody lived there for years. The room has a moldy smell. Because the AC is not on, we think it may be better when we turned on the AC. We are so wrong, after the AC is on, odd smell is more stronger from the AC. This unit is definitely not lived/cleaned for some time. We have been traveling a lot this summer and we have always preferred to stay in Marriott hotels. This is probably the worst experience we had. Also the front desk told us the breakfast is from 7-10 in the morning, I asked twice and she confirmed. But when we came down for hotel the next morning at 9:35am, the front desk said the breakfast ends on 9:30am, because today is Friday. How careless the front desk is to make us miss the breakfast. We ended up ate breakfast outside. It disturbed our travel plan a little bit because we are on a tight schedule.

We were very satisfied with the comfort and easy access to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. It would’ve been perfect if breakfast had been included. Handicap parking is not easily accessible to the entrance

The hotel is nice however, they need to have more than one person on at breakfast as the person is unable to handle all the customers' in a timely manner. I waited in line for 15 minutes before heading somewhere else for breakfast. This not acceptable for business people needing to get to meetings and start their day.

It was fine with a clean unit. The couch which was a hideabed was uncomfortable to sit on. It was expensive but near to where we were visiting.

Rooms were not clean, a non smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke, the air conditioner was so loud, and ran all night. Worst nights sleep ever.

We were disappointed with our room, a studio king, at this hotel. Our reserved room was not ready upon our arrival at check in time and we were given an alternate accessible studio. There were burned out light fixtures, a bad smell from the drains in the bathroom and toilet which did not flush properly. The key access to the room worked sporadically. I never complain about hotel rooms, but this was way below marriott standards and not worth $300+ a night.

great for car trip

I had booked a 2-queen-beds room but apparently this location does not have any such rooms. Expedia probably has incorrect information. The staff was excellent and gave us a suite with king bed, sofa bed, and a roll-on bed. The suite was ok. The door was obviously forced open at some point because the door barely locked and you could see inside the room even with the door closed. ☹️

It’s been a great stay. Asked for a late check out when we arrived and it was given to us no questions asked and no charge.

Very spacious lobby and various areas. Fitness room open 24 hours. Nice TV Good bathroom

All staff were courteous and helpful. The room was in excellent condition and ready when I arrived.

We had excellent service and room for our stay. Everything was clean and plenty of room-we had a king regular room. The only issue and it is important to me-was that there are nowhere near enough cable channels to watch on tv unless you pay extra. Also no free breakfast. Most hotels offer free breakfast and coffee. I was disappointed by these things as I loved everything else.

Checking in was very quick and the hotel was very clean. Would stay there again.

Front desk at checkin and in evening was very friendly and accommodating. Bistro had solid food options. The room was comfortable and shower was nice. No complaints. Would stay again, though nightly rate was a bit higher than I’d expect from a Courtyard.

This is an excellent hotel in every way, efficient and friendly staff, a great property, and well appointed room. It is convenient to Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital and the Dartmouth College campus.

This doesn’t meet the expectation about the Courtyard.

Let me start with the only positive; its location. It is close to Dartmouth College. But in general, avoid this place. The property is old and has not been updated in a while. The person checking us in was rude, and when asked simple questions, his response was that he was not an employee and instead handed me the card of the manager. Our bathroom drain clogged and there was no person on site to fix it until the next morning. By the time the problem was fixed the next morning, we ran late to our meetings. The reason one stays in a hotel, and that too a Marriott (rather of an Airbnb) is that such issues are addressed promptly. The clog was "fixed" only to reappear the next morning, suggesting that this is a recurrent problem that is probably being ignored. Our experience at Marriotts has been very positive over the years, but this was a total disappointment to say the least

Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. We have stayed 8 times in the last couple of months, some rooms are quieter than others

Our stay was excellent, The only improvement I could suggest is why are the handicapped rooms so far from the elevator . aaaai wish the handicapped bathroom had a walk in shower.

Perfect location, apart from the hustle and bustle and traffic etc., but convenient to places we wanted to visit.Very clean and comfortable room with a view of lovely wooded hillside. Friendly and helpful staff. Two wonderful nights away!
