We liked to stay away from Patong, so this was the right place: 6min walk to Night Market and local food, 2 min from Limelight Mall and Wed-Thu Indy Market (great food). Most important: across of the stop before end of Orange Bus from/to the Airport (100THB at driver) to stay away of taxi mafia. The 55usd worth every penny for Chrtistmas period. Plenty of space, spotless clean room, comfy bed &pillows, great breakfast in the glass bar, kind staff but limited English. Paid by card with no commission. Back side view is quiet, if they don't start to load a deposit 8am! Like everywhere else less than 4* the vindows have no soundproof. The 50% discount to their Massage Center make it affordable! 1.5H we had best in Asia! Spotless clean & competent staff!

There are many eateries around the hotel like the food stalls in the morning, Chuan Chim and Khun Jeed Restaurants all within walking distance. There is a 7 Eleven opposite the hotel. If travelling from Phuket Airport to hotel, can take the hourly bus from Domestic Terminal to Phuket town bus terminal and 10 minutes walk to hotel or can take the van shuttle at 150 baht at airport directly to hotel. For return journey to airport, just wait for the hourly P2 yellow bus outside hotel and will take you directly to airport for 100 baht. Don't miss the Phuket Indy Night Market on Wed to Friday, 5 minutes walk from hotel. Can take hourly air-cond shuttle van from bus terminal to Patong Beach at 50 baht

This hotel is the perfect relaxing escape but right in the hustle and bustle of Phuket town. Short walk to many of the main sights. The hotel staff were also very accommodating. The WiFi was great, clean room, nice mini bar included (water, coke, sprite, peanuts, chips), cold A/C.

It was great once we understood the politics there. The hotel services to help the guest in information of what’s near the hotel and local shopping and sights near the hotel was comprised! Why? Because they sell the same tours at higher prices than local area and other services . So this prevents them from giving us information that would help us to enjoy the local sights near the hotel.They had to make sure we didn’t get to see the other tour selling sites so they suggested us to other areas far away from local area .We do understand that the employees who were really nice had no choice as they are probably required to follow the rules. The hotel main service should never be compromised. It is a disservice to the guests in my opinion

The check in experience and staff on arrival was excellent. But unfortunately the breakfast staff the next morning was unpleasant. Also we were told on check in that if we needed extra water to just ask at front desk. When we did this the next morning we were told that the number of bottles given wad it!! First time I actually accounted this refusal for more drinking water at sny hotel!!

Met expectations, nice room. Friendly staff. Had a few items in room that need to be fixed but didn't stop the function of the item. No room safe though. Otherwise overall good experience will book here again when we go back

The Hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. The aerea where the hotel is located is without meter-Taxi.it is impossible to get a fair deal Scooter taxis in abundance but VERY dangerous. Patong bay(Beach ) and Bangla Road are about 15 km away,on the opposite side of the Island.So is Bangla Road.

Very close to both Old Town and modern shopping precinct. Excellent spa facilities. There was a good selection of food for breakfast.

There is no help to take your bags. So be prepared to carry your own luggage. No Trollies to haul your luggage with. The ladies at the front desk knew very little English. The restaurant staff were not very pleasant and the food was not very good. The room in the hotel was very nice though.

Very quirky hotel ideally placed a short walk to the old city walls. Rooms are small but for what you pay they are great. Beds big and comfy, rooms cleaned every day with a becent size shower. A very welcome small pool at the back of the hotel which after the heat of the day is most welcoming.

Our second extended stay at this hotel. This visit my wife had a medical incident requiring ambulance transport to hospital. The room cleaning staff, reception staff and management staff immediately came to our aid and made it all happen. Can’t thank them enough. Will always stay at Sino House Hotel.

Very good and can mfortable hotel to stay in. Stayed there going to and coming back from Singapore. Would highly recommend. Good breakfast included.

We booked this hotel to be in Phuket Town, rather than at one of the beach resorts. The town was fun (if you happen to be in town on a Sunday evening, make sure you visit the Sunday Market), but the hotel was a let-down. In fairness, the room was large, we were supplied with plenty of free water and soft drinks, and the price was very low. But the hotel fronts on a main street and the traffic noise was disruptive, all night every night, especially the motorcycles. The evening staff spoke English well enough, but the clerk who worked mornings spoke very little English, which was a problem for getting directions and arranging a cab. Helping us select tours, let alone booking tours for us, was a service they didnt offer, which is a serious downside for a tourist hotel. The included breakfast is at a restaurant next door, where the service is lackadaisical and the buffet is limited. There were minor annoyances, like charging us 100 Baht for an extra towel, and the wood bed platform that stuck out six inches from the mattress, creating a night-time hazard to the shins. If we go back, well stay at a resort hotel and take a cab into town.
