Kind staff, good food, clean room.

Small but pleasant hotel

This is hotel got my payment in full. After 1 hour pasted when I did my reservation I found out that the location of hotel is 1 hours driving from Barcelona. I asked to cancel this hotel in Colella and reserve the same hotel's name in Barcelona. Expedia said that hotel does not allow to do that. I lost my payment for hotel completely. I could not cancel my reservation after just made reservation and found out it is not my location where I will landed. Never reserve this hotel. You will lose your money. Shame to Expedia to sell this hotel to costumers.

Travelling with my partner, cousin and our dog. They were so welcoming and even had a welcome gift for the dog. That just set the tone for a great stay. The breakfast selection was very good and tasty. They even didn’t mind having dogs around for breakfast. If you want a pet friendly place where they are spoiled as music has you then this is the place. Would definitely visit again and stay longer.

This was an excellent location with a very nice staff, it was a five minute walk from the beach with a small balcony with a wonderful view of the Mediterreanean.

My mother and I had a great experience at Hotel Internacional. The room is nice and cleaned everyday. The distance to the beach and the pool is a big plus. Big thank you to Dolores at the reception, she is so nice and keeps everything rolling around the hotel. At the buffet we were nicely served by Saloua, Ali, Angel and Jo-Maria. There was enough food and everything was refilled on time. Overall we had a pleasant stay and we will recommened this hotel to everyone. Hope to come back very soon!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay at Hotel International. The overall value was excellent, especially the dining choices and quality for half board. The staff were friendly and efficient and there was no waiting for items at busy dining times. Our sea view room was good with a decent sized balcony and the hotel was convenient for the beach, shops and restaurants nearby. The train station is a pleasant 10 to 15 minutes walk away. The hotel areas were clean and welcoming and although the room didnt have a kettle, it was a good size with a comfy bed. We would definitely recommend this hotel as a base in Calella and would stay again if we ever visit this area in the future.

Very basic, very small, swimming pool much smaller than expected. Reception staff very polite, helpful & friendly. Fairly clean. Great breakfast. Not a fan of barking dogs in hotel, but I guess we should have noted when booking, that is was dog friendly.

Lovely hotel and staff, very clean and always tidy. Drinks reasonable, nice pool area and entertainment in the evening over the weekend. Close to the beach, nice restaurants nearby, breakfast in hotel amazing. We loved it and will return.

Suprema room with patio and ocean view. Ocean view was a partial ocean view with slider facing at the side of hotel facing a neighboring abandoned/delapitatied unsightly hotel’s top floor. No view or windows facing the ocean. One of the outside loungers was loaded with bird poop and not cleaned the entire week we were there. Staff amazing and breakfast too!

I am always influenced by the rating when selecting the hotel. At just 8 points it was at the baseline for staying at what turned out to be a superb hotel that is worth a higher grading. If you don't want a mini bar in your room, then this hotel can tick all your boxes with a great breakfast offering, through to on-site bar and restaurant to a street side cafe. The location is ideal being on the beach front and also close to alternative eating houses and bars. I found each and every staff member I came into contact with, a true credit to the hotel. When I return to the area, I will have no hesitation to book again.

Welcoming and friendly. Fantastic location. Great price. Stay in this hotel if you love spending time at the beach. It’s not perfect, rooms are standard, Hotel pool is small, roof terrace for a handful of loungers, food is typical of hotel buffet but good variety. I’d recommend exploring the many local restaurants over full board ……..but when you get to the beach OMG !!! …you will never want to go home. Fantastic for the price.

Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. My room was lovely room, had a very comfortable bed and was front facing with a sea view. Large selection of foods to choose from for breakfast. The hotel is very close to the beach and to shops and bars.

The room was clean and they clean it everyday. We booked a room for 3 people Full board and the food was great. You have to pay 10 euros for one week to get Wifi in the rooms, in the hall the wifi is free.

Really nice hotel with spacious rooms, good air con and good sized balconies. Food could have been warmer but this isn't easy as you want the air con on in dining room to keep you cool. Good choice of food with thyme nights throughout our week. Overall a good stay in good hotel.

Great chilled out weeks holiday , ideal for a couple or family

If you expect five star cuisine and a Hilton-type room for next to nothing, then this is not the place for you, but we found the value for money outstanding, the staff hardworking, helpful and friendly and the location amazing. There is a good rounded selection for the buffet breakfast - hot foods like sausages (also local ones), bacon, eggs, then cold cuts, cheeses, salads, cereals, fruit, things for the sweet-toothed, a coffee machine, and although the juices were not ‘fresh’ there was still a good selection. The room was not massive, but it was functional and the sea view from the balcony was gorgeous. The hotel is well located for bars, restaurants, shops and right by the beach, and near a train station. The only downsides were that the beds were very squeaky and dipped in the middle and due to the train line right outside and late night music nearby it was quite loud, but if you go out for drinks or have spent the day walking and/or taking in the sea breeze at the beach you should be able to sleep through anyway! They have somewhere to store baggage and have a shower on your check out day, which is also useful as check out is, unfortunately, at 10am. The bar serves a wide selection of drinks and very reasonably priced for a hotel. I would happily go back here.

Location good but that’s about it. Our room was not clean at all. Hairs in the bath and sink, bedding blanket stained, hairs on sheets, only lighting in room was two small lamps above the bed and one in bathroom. Bathroom had no form of ventilation and had an awful smell. Had Octoberfest in our hotel which we had no knowledge of prior to booking which resulted in some very poor band music being played till 11.30/12.00 at night with lots of shouting and cheering going on after each time. Questioned hotel about this and they said it was only one night but unforgettable band couldn’t have got the memo as it continued till they went home. Could not use roof terrace a group of teenagers always up there with a boom box playing German rap music constantly from morning to night. Told hotel about this who said they knew and they would be going home soon. Bit put off the breakfast buffet after seeing the head waiter coughing in front of the food without putting his hand over his mouth then getting a serviette and spitting into it then carried on touching plates etc. All in all, Calella was lovely but will not be going back to this hotel ever again.

Although this hotel has only two stars it is actually as comfortable and clean as three star hotel. The location is great, our room had a gorgeous view of the sea and the beach is only a few minutes of walking distance. The distance to walk to the train to go to Barcelona is about 15 minutes of walking, but it is not bad at all since the walk is through the shopping area. The train to Barcelona takes about 1 hr. We went to the city 4 days out of 6. The city is very cozy and there are a lot of tourists from all over the world. The food was great. We loved dinner the most, breakfast was also pretty good. The menu changed a little bit every day. The persons at the lobby change but all of them were very helpful. The hotel is very clean and we had no complains. Overall we had a great stay.

A great location. Swimming pool is a bit on the small side. We stayed on a B/B package, variety of choices basic but OK. Rooms are OK slight noise from neighbors and the train that runs close to the hotel. Nice friendly staff. The lifts are very busy after mealtime. Would recommend this hotel as very good value for money.
