Owners were very accommodating with early check in. Room was clean, nice and perfect for our needs/family. Kitchenette was stocked with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, small crockpot, dishes, eating utensils etc. Expanded continental breakfast was very nice and a rare find nowadays. Mattress on one bed was a little uncomfortable, but all else puts this place on our list of where we would stay again!

Friendly staff, cozy room and lodge. We had such a fun stay at Fireside! We totally forgot to take photos of ourselves skiing beautiful Northstar, but we took lots of pics of our fun time at Fireside, lol! You can tell that the proprietors really care not only about their property, but your experience there.

This is a family owned lodge, and yes it feels like home, the owner is always helpful and friendly and run the business with hearts and effort! Visited there last weekend! During the winter storm, wow it's been a long time since last time I saw this much snow, so fun, but almost got stuck in Tahoe LOL, 50/88/80 were all closed and waited 3 hour to get out. And yes the experience was exceptional. (isn't S'more in heavy snow exceptional? Dig my car out of snow is so fun) some fun facts: There was a power outage following the storm, so the coffee machine was not working in that morning, but the owner bought a ton of Starbucks for all the guests. There was a dog named Leo and my son are missing him so much when back home. Would definitely recommend it!

Great for a trip with the dogs! Super close to get downtown but very little traffic on a closed street with direct access to the bike path where the dogs had a blast. We got snowed in and the fireplace kept us toasty and satellite TV had movies galore. We will stay here again when we visit friends in SLT. Thanks!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the happy hour conversation with other guests. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable and sooo cute.

Love the decor! We stayed in the Bear den. The beds were comfortable and the room was warm, fun and cosy. Loved the gas fireplace. Loved the outdoor fireplace. The staff is super friendly and easy to engage. The place is super dog friendly. I don’t ever remember staying in a place that had water and food dish available for the dog. I will return to this place in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a delightful three-day stay at Fireside Lodge. The ‘cabin’ was small but well-decorated and comfortable. I had originally thought each room was a separate dwelling, but they are attached to each other in a strip formation. Still, very charming. We had a quick tour when we first arrived and we’re impressed with the amenities that were included. Breakfast was phenomenal; custom waffles and many other choices. Highly recommended!

We were on a road trip with our dog, so we were limited to pet friendly hotels. The Fireside Lodge is 100% dog friendly. Dogs are welcome in all areas of the hotel, there were even dog toys in the check in area and bowls in the room. For us there was a happy hour with wine & snacks and a tasty hot breakfast. We took the bikes (free) out for a ride. There is a bike trail with view of the lake, just behind the lodge. Lastly all of the employees were welcoming and kind. I would highly recommend with or without pets.

It met our expectations. We really enjoyed the service and the coziness of the property. We especially liked the accommodations for our puppy, he had a good time.

I plan on staying here anytime I visit Tahoe. The stay here was wonderful. Top notch service from the family that runs this wonderful lodge. They truly made my stay feel like a home away from home. The room was very clean and cozy, with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. There is a wine and cheese happy hour, s’mores over an open fire, complimentary bikes to ride on a nearby bike trail, a delicious complimentary waffle breakfast, and so many more amenities that make it worth a stay. If you are planning a trip to Tahoe, I highly recommend staying here.
