Second time staying at this property. We stayed two years ago with two families. The onsite property manager was incredibly unwelcoming and overly negative when reciting the property rules, we felt uncomfortable using the common space area and were advised not to use the fire pit (not an issue, the approach was just intense — she ran up). We actually laughed at the memory, it became a joke bc the treatment was intense. Fast forward two years, we have a family event to attend and due to sheer limited options to stay we land at the same hotel, and again were treated poorly by the manager as soon as she saw we had children. While there were adults on the shared patio area carrying on and talking loudly well past 10:30pm, she made sure our families, who’s children were on the bluff trail yards away from the shared seating area, ‘were too loud and keeping her up’ at 8:50pm and again at 9:05pm, we were then asked to leave? We were informed ‘complaints had been made’, I literally saw her watching us like a hawk with her head poking out of the little house she lives onsite at, the entire time. It’s clear families aren’t welcome, they’re treated much differently than guests with no kids. The behavior and odd monitoring of our families ruined our trip. We all traveled far and wide to be here, visiting in the open space seating, on a Saturday evening, just as others were, to be harassed and watched made us anxious, uncomfortable and forced us to end our night early. Won’t be back ever.

although we didn't use it, was pleasantly surprised to find a full kitchen. was not stocked so have to bring your own pots pans dishes etc. also the room had two beds, two large chairs and a small couch. enjoyed the room. would stay again.

Amazing view! Nice common outside area. Convenient to restaurants and grocery store. Very nice and clean room.

Just a quick overnight for us with a late check in and early exit, but the room was comfortable for 4. We would have liked to have had longer to stay. Great location. Had a wonderful early breakfast at the Bakery Pizza across the road.

Nice clean motel. Deck overlooking the ocean. Really awful beds though. Although there was a full kitchen, no plates or utinsels or pans.

Wonderful room great beds clean and comfortable. The location is amazing fantastic views from patio and nice trail next to parking. Wish I could have stayed longer. Beautiful, peaceful, wonderful place.

Great sitting area looking out over the ocean! Restaurants and stores are close and convenient. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Great experience! Would definitely stay again.

A cute little place full of potential. Got there late but instructions were waiting for us to get in room. Room was tidy but hadn't been cleaned adequately. Peeled back the comforter and there were many hairs in the bed. There was also hair in the shower and in bathroom floor. Simply not clean. I told the lady at the front desk of the situation and she had me text the picture to a number and said I'd hear from them. They never reached out. I wouldn't recommend..

Advertised as a queen bed but it was two single beds. Found a couple of black hairs (the curly kind) in the shower. Otherwise things were okay.

Nice and clean and a pretty setting on the bluffs overlooking the ocean.

Service was excellent. We checked in very early & the office wasvery friendly & accomodating. She found us a room that was already cleaned, and moved us into it so we could check-in. She was extremely friendly, gave us restaurant suggestions (both were excellent) and overall, was a perfect host. The room itself was just ok. Beds were lumpy and not very comfortable. Cleanliness could've been better...there were hairs under the covers when we pulled them back, and the bathroom was dusty and old. That said, the location is great. The room was right on the bluff overlooking the ocean. Sunset was gorgeous.

It is a comfortable folksy downhome guesthouse so don't expect the Hilton or Travelodge; we would rather stay here! The receptionist manager Jade is super welcoming and helpful. We definitely intend to return, and recommend to others.

The room was OK. Check-in very easy although we arrived late.

Right outside our door is the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful Bluffs Trail. The building is old, but clean, has coffee, fridge & microwave in room. We walked to restaurants and the grocery store, and did that bluff trail several times. We sat on the beautiful deck and looked at the beach and crashing waves. Check in was quick.

It’s an old property, but clean and a great location. We could walk to the grocery store or restaurants. Right out our back door is a deck overlooking the Pacific and it’s right at the Bluffs Trail, which is amazing. I like that it had a refrigerator & microwave, although the bed wasn’t the greatest. I would stay there again, for the great price and beautiful scenery, and the convenience of location .

Beautiful oceaviews from the hotel with common rest campfire areas...nice hiking in the morning. Hotel room is small. Refrigerator and microwave in closets...

Beautiful views of the ocean are just steps away from the rooms.
