Only, really just only Location. The price of this hotel is paid for its location. If you need a bed and shower, use it. Breakfast is only good with fruit. The facilities are old and thin.

Excellent hotel. The location is super, to the sea 3 minutes straight. Good cleaning, free mini bar. Minus - very dirty curtains in the room!

Clean and tidy. Good value rooms in pretty good condition

The hotel location is convenient to walk around to the beaches and shops and restaurant. Their corner Marina restaurant offers cooking dishes video and excellent fresh seafood. But the property is old and needs TLC. Upon our arrival, the air conditioning unit had water leaking, lucky the maintenance crew arrived soon to fix this issue. When we check out in the early morning, the checkout staff reported missing glasses in our unit, which cause us some frustration to explain

We had a great time during our stay. The location of the hotel was ideal: just a few minutes walk to the beach. We were upgraded to a pool view room at no extra charge which was very appreciated.

First of all, I hope the manager or someone in charge reads this, because the staff is really amazing (spec CJ who made our song-kran unforgettable, he had amazing taste for service and his English was really advanced compared to others who we met in Thailand) I've been staying at this hotel 3 times now, 2007, 2013 and 2018. It's still my choice and I will go there again, there's tho one thing I'm really disappointed with... It's the theming... you used to have a beach theme, with paintings of beaches in the room, colourful pillows and rocks between the bathroom and bedroom... now it's fashion? Why? Why is our room London themed? I did not go on a 15 hour flight just to come to London, I came to Thailand, to the sun, to beaches. This made me just feel like you lost grip of why people visit Thailand. There's two paintings above the pool that not only look horrible, they triggerd my epilepsy. Don't continue with this fashion theme please, renovate the place and take back the beach theme or something that represents Thailand.

Hotel looks a bit old since my last stay in 2013. Nothing to complain about. Best breakfast buffet in the area.

Stayed only for a few hours. Had a red-eye flight so wanted some place to tie us over. Checked in at 3pm checked out at midnight. The pool was small and not the cleanest so did not go in the pool. The hotel was super close to the beach but not right on the beach front, so it was a balance between price and accessing the beach. The area was pretty quiet, but I think it might be one of the busier part of Kata Beach. The waves were great for surfing when we were there. And surf house was super close to the hotel. Booked the room for the sake of going to surf house. For the price, I think it was a good value.

The stay was great except for the shower. Water pressure was very Low and I requested to clean the room in the morning when am out and the staffs only come to clean the room in the afternoon .

Excellent property. Room was clean and modern.Breakfast cheaper then listed on the website, only 250THB. Excellent pool access room. Housekeeping were immaculate and very detailed. Friendly staff.Cons- 1/constant smell of smoke on the balcony when neighbors smoked. 2/Shower struggled to maintain constant temperature, had to keep fiddling with the taps. 3/Taxi took me to the wrong hotel, ensure the taxi knows the correct location as there are two Sugar Marina hotels in Kata. 4/Ridiculous closing time of the pool (8pm)

My husband and I arrived at 12.47am to a hotel that was under renovation. First, we thought that only the restaurant Black Pearl was under renovation. Upon reaching the lobby, we were greeted by an empty pool, piles of cement, pallets of new tiles, exposed wires overhead and construction workers sleeping around the drained out pool. A male receptionist grunted his hello and asked for our reservation. When I asked why the hotel was in that condition, he didnt reply but asked me to complete a check-in form and gave me the room key. I was told to stay for the night and that we would be moved to another hotel in the morning. Looking around, we realised we were the only guests of a hotel that was undergoing a complete overhaul! It was just one receptionist and vacant rooms, no lights, no aircon, nothing!!!We are shocked that the hotel is still taking in reservations knowing full well it is under renovation. I insisted that we be moved to their sister hotel immediately.
