Old and dirty

The location is great for me . I take 3 to 4 business trips to the area a year . I always stay here . The stay is simple and easy . Their is 2 breakfast restaurants very close by . Other restaurants for lunch and dinner close by . The hotel is clean . Parking is easy . The beds are fine . No complaints

Good value for the price.

The first room we were assigned was already occupied, the second room we were told had a bad smell and the last room had water on the bathroom floor and the water in the shower kept dripping most of the night. Floor was dirty.

Overall the experience was good. The room was comfortable and the area was quiet. The only upsetting part was there were too many flies that kept getting inside the room.

Stayed there over this weekend for a night. It was a place to lay our heads, we didn’t expect a ton more and this did the trick. The room did smell of smoke. And there were some flies in the room. However, it’s a motel with doors to the outside. We were as guilty as anyone for standing with the door open, here and there, no doubt letting flies in. So, fairly understandable that they would be there. Other than that, it was easy check in. The room was quite clean and seems fairly newly remodeled. We were there in a bad storm with tornado warnings. We did lose power, but staff was there to make sure we had flashlights and were ok and kept informed of the weather. Nice staff and clean rooms. Perfect for what we needed.

Found out why it was so cheap. Didn’t feel so safe around there.

The hotel is weathered and needs lots of work but owners (whom I encountered personally) don't seem to care. The employee working the front desk when I arrived was an elderly man who gave great service, above and beyond. He is the only bright spot in this otherwise yucky hotel.

Good location to state parks we visited. Clean, affordable.

Owner is great. Staff are friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Perfect distance from all the fun things in the area. The service was wonderful.

The area was very convenient for our trip to Devil Lake. The property itself was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable!

Bathroom wasn't cleaned at all there was still pee all over the toilet, it smelled like wet dog. There was dog hair all over and in the sink, shower was nasty and curtain rod for shower was falling outta the wall there were human bare feet prints all over the wood floor as well as dogs and sticky stuff.

Light bulbs missing in lamps. No clock. Old pens, hairties on floor. Manager brought bulbs and clock when notified. Nice location.

This was NOT a no smoking room.

Friendly staff, clean and reasonable rates.

Filthy, gritty floors, toilet seat not fastened, paper thin walls, shower dripped, found toenail clippings in bathroom, no hot water in sink due to broken faucet handle, flat pillows, horrible cigarette smoke odor coming out of heater. Everything we brought had to be rewashed to get smoke odor out. NEVER going back.

Staff was very friendly and very quick to respond to extra items we needed. The place is older, but appears that some upgrades are being done as there were new floors since the last time we stayed. The place was very clean accept there was a stain on the blanket on the bed by the window. The sheets were clean, but old and kept slipping off the bed. Only major problem we encountered was that the hot water didn't work in the sink, however, worked fine in the shower.

The stairs to the second floor were unsafe at best. We worried that they might actually break. They had been poorly patched with lumpy concrete which was breaking. In the rain, they were treacherous.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We had a problem with our TV and they immediately sent a young man to fix it. Would definitely stay there again.

Second last night on our road trip through Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. This Motel might be a little “tired” but it was the perfect place to stay and the staff were very kind and helpful. We walked from the Motel down to the river walk, had a drink in the distillery, then went into town for dinner. A great one night stay.

This property fit our needs for our 2 night stay. However there were a few dead bugs in one corner, the toilet seat was broken and the shower curtain rod was hanging by 1 screw. On the up-side, there was a nice breakfast joint, Mexican restaurant and grocery story very close making it a very convenient place to stay.

So understanding, 11am arrived early, hotel full, advised will be at park till 10pm then come back to check in and to sleep. then at 5pm bad storm came in, party cannot continue till 10pm, we are 1 hour from home and they were very understanding and offered to cancel without fee.

I would say , this stay was just as I Like things , Simple and easy . It was clean , easy to get to , and simple . I usually stay here 3 times a year and its always the same . Pleasant

Alice, who answered the phone and greeted us when we arrived was extremely helpful and pleasant. She suggested am excellent restaurant for us to try.

The room needed a paint job and the box springs were ripped.the room was clean and ok.If you don't want the crowd a ok place to stay.
