For us, this is the last, best, long car trip stop through Maine. It offered easy check-in and accommodated our dog too. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The hotel was quiet. Great convenient location.

This property advertises a free airport shuttle, which is one of the only reasons I booked it because my daughter needed transportation to the airport. There were much cheaper AND closer options in the area that did not offer a shuttle service. When she inquired about reserving a spot on the airport shuttle for a 7:30 am flight, she was informed that the shuttle began operations at 7:30 am so she would have to secure other transporation to the airport. The Bangor airport is 4 miles away form the Hilton Garden Inn; she could have stayed at much closer options and gotten an Uber for much less expense than she ended up incurring. Also, many flights leave the Bangor airport before this shuttle starts operating. It's ridiculous to offer this service and be unwilling to serve your guests that have early flights.

this was our first experience with Hilton hotels. It was exceptional. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Five stars, I feel like a star staying there

Stayed 3 noghts, room wasnt cleaned, no fresh towels. Parking was terrible. A meeting took all spots.

My husband I enjoyed our stay with the Garden Hotel.

This hotel was clean and the pool area was nice. It’s in a convenient location. Our room looked out on the roof ac unit which was unfortunate because it snowed a lot and we didn’t get to see it out the window. I would recommend the hotel but I definitely would not recommend the hotel restaurant. We didn’t even finish our meals. It was overpriced and the food was cold and just unappealing. This hotel has nice lobby and sitting areas.

The staff were great with the exception of the unpleasant lady that tried to charge my daughter for breakfast; we'd already paid for breakfast. I had a junior suite and the grout/floor in the bathroom was filthy! The living room table had heavy marks and scratches on it. Fan in bath barely worked. Also, we both got bitten by fleas! The hotel accepts pets, but should fumigate the rooms for this! My daughter asked the people in the pool if she could have a lane just to do laps; they said no problem; however, their children kept jumping in on top of her throwing balls, etc. and parents let this continue to happen while they were on their cell phones or in the hot tub. Also, parents allowed the kids to fill the hot tub and we had no place to sit down. We went back numerous times, but it was the same each time. Room was supposed to be cleaned every other day. We were there 4 days and trash cans never emptied - we brought in extra bags and also the bathroom linens needed to be cleaned. Otherwise, hotel is safe, convenient, good breakfast and restaurants and mall nearby. Hotel restaurant has limited menu and also has a bar. Really would give 5 stars if they could fix the above problems.

The pool hot tub was making everyone’s eyes burn and all kids were coughing constantly there were way too many chemicals we had to get out. The breakfast is expensive should be included for a hotel that I paid 274 when checking in… the suite was also quite small. The don’t have flavored coffee creamer just half n half. Staff was nice tho.
