Nice to stay, good location, got bus from Ivalo airport to the hotel, but have to notice about the bus time schedule, if u miss the bus then taxi will be around 60euro to the hotel. Breakfast was very nice!!! Walking distance to the nearest supermarket and souvenir shop

The standard room we stayed in was very comfortable and provided all we needed, We had to use the public sauna. It was very frustrating that it was separate times for men and women, it was a long walk outside to go to the other sauna. It would have been good to have it mixed for at least a couple of hours per day.

We stayed at AHMA, the premise for standard rooms. It was old and tired looking. The room was small, but comfortable. And there is a common electric sauna for hotel guests with segregated timings for males and females. Breakfast was average - the usual spread you get in most lodgings in Lapland

The Hotel gives the impression still being in the 70th. Big area with multiple buildings, but only a few guests. Staff could learn the word „service“. A request about fried eggs have been answered with, no not available. Price was ok but would not go again. We have been on a motorcycle trip and we were coming from North Cape. The Hotel seemed to be a good stop but did not fulfilled whats behind the name

I stayed at Santa's Hotel Tunturi and booked a room from their superior apartment hotel section called Gielas. What a room! Spacious, comfortable and even had my very own balcony! I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Saariselkä - both off- and on-season!

Santa Hotel is far exceed our expectation. Location is perfect, centre of town, few minutes walk to stores, cuisine, travel agent, national park. Also has a bus stop to Ivalo airport, such a good choice when you have a vehicle during travel. We got a spacious room with well equipped kitchen. Kitchen is surprise to us as it's not indicated while we booked it. Room is clean as well. We will choice here again

We have booked an apartment with well equipped including a kitchen and sauna room. We lighted up the fire place every night within our room. This hotel located nearby tourists centre where provided a series of activities. It's a really good hotel for the money I paid.

Spent a week at the hotel hoping to see some aurora, bit of low level activity but lots more low cloud (sees to be a common issue).Nice room and comfortable bed (2 singles), TV which had BBC News 24 on Ch 9, kettle and a good supply of tea, coffee and chocolate. Good WiFi in the room. Great shower and I do like a good shower :-) Despite the fact that it was -25c and colder during my stay the room was always comfortable.Dont make the same mistake as me I carted all my baggage into reception, checked in and then had to cart it all back out as I was staying in a separate building 150M away :-) The breakfast restaurant area is large with good breakfast and is in the same building as reception.The surrounding area has plenty of good walks through the forests and cross country loops

Excellent customer service from Niina who helped my mum get her hat back after she left it on the coach. Hotel is conveniently located in Saariselkä with buses from Kakslauttanen stopping directly outside the hotel. Rooms were clean and ours had the in-room sauna which was easy to use and just wonderful. Room also had in room clothes drier. Breakfast had a good spread and very polite. Would recommend and would stay again.

Apartment room view not good & decoration outdated

Stayed one night while on our Scandinavian road trip and booked the upgraded room with breakfast.The room was very nice with a sauna and balcony, and the buffet breakfast was also very good.

One has to be carefull which type of a room you are booking as quality and price different.

Comfortable stay. It's great that there is a private sauna room inside the our room.

Enjoyed our stay, hotel had table tennis, pool table, darts and a nice bar which kept us entertained for the days that we were there. Food at the restaurant was delicious as well, and it really helped that the bus to the ski resort, along with the bus to Rovaniemi, could be accessed on the road outside the hotel reception.

I choose the difference of currency by mistake, it costs more for the commission.

The service was wonderful and the Gielas building is fantastic.

Nice hotel in the middle of pure forest, excellent breakfast, easy access 20min fron ivl, helpful staff, all needs covered! Had 2 nights, but i enjoy it that much that had a 3rd one!

The main reception building is only a reception and bar / restaurant. Our accommodation was about 200 yards away. Not easy dragging suitcases through the snow and then having to walk to reception every morning for breakfast. As you enter the accommodation building you are greeted with a pile of washing bags next to the stairs. The room is very warm and dry and you can't open the windows to let in some fresh air. Room service is every other day and they don't provide much in the way of tea, coffee, milk, so best to bring your own. Only redeeming factor was we were near the start of the cross-country skiing tracks.
