Everything is within walking distance. It is right across from the lighthouse. Fantastic views

While lobby coffee was good coffee in room would've been way more respectful and very convenient. Parking garage being free and out of sun was very helpful.

Wife and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary on St. Simons Island. The hotel is across from the Lighthouse and water park. Walking distance to the Pier and many restaurants and shops.

The worst service I have ever experienced . I had to actually pay a staff member $20 just to get bath towels. The next day no one came to clean the room at all. My wife called down to the front desk to speak with the staff about this. The front desk lady stated they are short staffed . The manager of the hotel Rob arrives on the property knock on our door and said we were criminally trespassing. I was appalled, his front desk staff lied and the cleaning lady lied completely and stated I called them derogatory names. The manager said he has cameras everywhere. I asked him to review the cameras and footage to see I did not say anything derogatory towards his staff. Rob said my wife and I had 20 minutes to leave the property. The manger and staff at the hotel are very unprofessional, untruthful. My wife and I have never been treated like this before in all of our travels.

Close to pier

Liked being next to the lighthouse in downtown area. Didn't like being woken up to leaf blowers and construction. Water pressure was weak in the tub and shower

Wi-fi was off the entire time which made it hard to use phone or computer inside building which was very hard to deal with.

The room door was an issue opening every time. Had to get different keys multiple times. There were holes in the bathroom walls from old towel bars. The ac ran all the time and the breakfast was very minimal (waffles and a few muffins). Just overall felt like that hotel didn’t care to have things look or work the best.

Great location

This was the most inconvenient attempt to check in at hotel we have ever had. The Manager cancelled our reservation as we were attempting to check in. We arrived early. Front desk said come back at 2pm. We did. Then was repeatedly told we can’t check in until 4pm. We waited in lobby and watched numerous guest get checked in. When we asked front desk said nothing she can do since we booked with 3rd Party app. Asked if anyway we can get into room. They referred to 4pm policy as we watched more people check in. Again, nothing they can do? Manager came out. Didn’t problem solve. Just said same thing. We asked to use pool and the Manager just said they are cancelling our reservation. We never raised our voices, cussed, or made unreasonable request. We always use 3rd party app and never pushed to back of line or had prepaid reservation cancelled. Good news….We got better hotel at better price and checked in before 4pm. Now waiting for full refund.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was a lot bigger than expected. The room and hotel could definitely use some updates & repairs. Parking is kinda tricky. We would stay there again. The view of the water and lighthouse was amazing.

Pleasant stay

My new favorite place to stay while on the island! It’s not a big place. It has great under hotel parking in the shade! The pool was relaxing and refreshing. They were very busy and the staff worked extra hard to make certain everything was right. My bed was comfortable and my room was clean. Breakfast only consists of waffles, fruit and muffins but all of it was good. They have an awesome gourmet coffee machine with amazing hot chocolate. I watched the general manager jump in and do labor work as needed. Everyone was so friendly. My only complaint was I couldn’t get my phone to work in my room but I wouldn’t connect to their WiFi so it was probably a. Verizon issue. Very happy with this place and will stay here every time I visit the island. It is also right across from the lighthouse, a block from the water, and lots of eating and shopping a block away!

The hotel was located close to dining, shopping and the Lighthouse museum. Room was comfortable but the bathroom needed an upgrade and a really good cleaning. Lobby staff was friendly and helpful

The Ocean Inns and Suites is a great little hotel. It has charm, rooms that look out over the water and surrounding areas. From our room we saw the most spectacular 4th of July Fireworks. Also close to many eating establishments. The only problem we had was the elevator was not working when we arrived, but they had it fixed in short order. I would highly recommend this Inn and Suites.

The service here is always friendly and professional. The location is perfect, and the rooms are clean.

This property is so convenient to the pier and shopping. We love this area and have enjoyed staying here multiple times.

The staff at this property was awesome! They were so helpful, even though they were pulled in every direction because of a staff shortage. Management was helping staff to get everything done for guests and the staff shortage was settled quickly. In the future I would rather a hotel not have any smoking areas, however, here several guests smoked while on their balcony and others at the pool. The price was the reason I chose this hotel and it’s location is great. Again, the best staff!

Family funeral and we like this hotel because it’s close to walking to the beach, pier and down town.

The good: location is fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet (even for the first floor!). Shower was nice and water flow was strong. Not so good: The smell of the air freshener in the room was overpowering. The old wall A/C unit was loud and not easy to manage to keep the room comfy. The refrigerator in our particular room was wonky-off balance and had seen better days.

Very easy check-in with friendly staff person. Easy walk to food/drinks.

Amazing staff and location. Parking is a little tight so careful if you have a large SUV. Breakfast is minimal with a muffin, juice, waffle maker. Great coffee machine and cucumber water round the clock. Very close to beach. Cute little pool and most rooms had balcony/walk out. Hotel is a bit dated, but comfortable bed and great to have a microwave and refrigerator.

I enjoyed the convenience of being walking distance to restaurants.

Overall experience was ok, construction was being done in the parking garage and on check in there were local sheriff officers that made frankly inappropriate remarks about where I was traveling from, felt very uncomfortable with their presence

The room was perfect for my family, having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a king size Murphy bed in the living room. It was spacious, has a great view of the lighthouse and is very close to the beach on one side and the pier on the other. Also very close to many shopping and food options, all are walkable distances. This is my first time in St Simons and I would definitely stay here again.

The manager is very rude and has no customer service skills. I would not recommend anyone to stay . I will be calling the corporate office 😡

We were looking for a scenic place to stay overnight for a long trip. The room was simple and exactly what we needed. I reserved the king studio. We were a little put off that it was located in the lobby behind the front desk. But the room was secure, private and the bed was amazing. The soaking tub w/jets was a bonus.

Wonderful location and nice staff. Bedding was fair, as the sheets kept coming off the mattress. Not enough soap in the shower, no bar of soap
