Would not recommend or stay there again. Reception desk unmanned when I arrived had to take myself & luggage into the gaming area to find a team member to check me in. Security checked me in not sure why I had to write my credit card details on the check-in form when the room had been paid for inadvance & the security team member took the $100.00 deposit on my credit card. No room service available & then the same process to check out the sign on the reception counter directed me to the gaming room which was closed. Then had to find another security member to check me out. Would not recommend or stay there again very disappointed.

The property had closed due to deep cleaning of an adjacent area, but we were set up in a safe area and allowed to stay. We were the only guests in the proper! It was so lovely that they accommodated us!!

Easy location to access when arriving into Melbourne from the West. Easy parking and 24 hour check-in. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only issues is they have no breakfast available so if you have a big day and early start you are probably going hungry until dinner.

Room was clean, spacious, warm but very noisy. There was a motor running all night, we thought it was the fridge (but not), we thought it could have been the heater (but not), it seemed like it was the interior hotel heating which cold be heard in the hall. The people in the next room could be heard with loud muffled voices & outside the room the doors could be heard opening & closing

the room had broken or missing hooks in the drapes the curtains were dirty .the dusting was poor .The Bed was joined but had different levels and had a bump dip in the middle .

Some meals in restaurant are ok.
The previous time I came the buffet was ordinary.
Mixup with buffet this time we had to have a la carte.
Example satay chicken was tender but the sate sauce was ordinary as if it was out of a packet.
The pesto chicken pasta was ordinary.
Best stick to steaks or parma.

Buffet Breakfast 🍳 overlooking the home straight was a unique experience - huge room with bath and big king bed - I’ll definitely be back!

A few discomforts made my stay a bit less pleasant than I'd expected. My room key didn't work and when going to reception to get this rectified I fell down the stairs, injuring both legs. My room aircon was too cold and it was difficult to work out how to adjust it. The lamp wasn't plugged in and was difficult to access. There were only very soft pillows with no support.
It was lovely to see the trotters on the track in the morning as my room was trackside.
There's nothing much in the area but I was there on business so this didn't bother me.
