The pool was closed again with no notice.

The outside of the hotel was dingy and needs pressure washing. The pool and gym were both closed during my stay with no explanation as to why. Staff and cleaning crew were great. Room felt clean and received turn down service one time.

The room I checked into had no AC. It was so late at night and tolerable, I stayed. I called the front desk and told them the situation. The next day I called again and got my room switched. It was perfect!! It had working AC, smelled better, and a nicer/cleaner room than before. The staff was amazing! Very nice, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to change my room.

Shower and sink drain were gross and would not drain. Shower needs scrubbing. I cleaned out the drains and it was full of hair.

A huge stain. It qas disgusting.
My daughter said the pool was so foggy you couldnt see.
Then the sink qas stopped up. I tried to even unclogg the sink myself.
There was all kinds of nasty stuff.
We called and asked for someone.
She stated matnience was gone.

Our two night stay was as expected, however i must say the beds, pillows etc were very comfortable and breakfast provided a good assortment of options and was fresh.
We tried the indoor and had no issues.
I will recommend it based on this experience.

Check in went smoothly with Daniel. Unfortunately later that night the air conditioning went out in our room but Daniel switched us to another room as soon as we let him know (Daniel was awesome). Then the second room, one of the beds was broken (which was alright because we only needed one), but then the cable went out pretty early in the evening and was out until the following morning. They do have a pool though it is only 3 foot and pretty small. But overall it was a nice stay for what we needed it for.

Front desk staff had dog at the desk with them and were very unenthusiastic about helping us. Also, the pullout bed was covered in urine and they didn't have any sheets or blankets to fit it available. Very run down hotel.

Although we were just staying overnight, we would have loved things to work. The room was very dark, the alarm went off on the clock and could not fix it. Just unplugged it.
TV Channels said they were there but were not. Guide scroll but won’t let you choose.
The bed was so soft it was difficult getting out of the bed. You really should rotate the bed. Breakfast was the worst of any Choice hotels. Room was clean so that was a plus.
We will not be staying at that one again.

We stayed here because I daughter was graduating from UGA. Decent place, not to far from downtown. Wish the overnight prices were cheaper. Breakfast was just normal.

My son stepped on a screw that wasnt screwed all the way down in the vent inside the pool, his toe bled inside and out of the water. The lady up front seemed intoxicated when I checked in and when I came to the front to ask for a band aid and to tell her what happened someone else had to help her find the bandaids (in a red container she picked up and put back several times already) and then they offered alcohol for a disinfectant. I was thinking rubbing alcohol, but no, this was Everclear. I mean, we used it anyway. The staff came to look at the pool, confirmed there was a screw and stated she would log the incident in the book at the desk. I think its icky they didnt add any extra chemicals to the pool or sanitize the area around the pool when they were aware that he bled in there.

The staff were great and very helpful and friendly. The room however smelled very bad upon entering. Like wet dog and feet. It looked like the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, there was debris all over. Overall it was okay. Just not very clean.

Elevator said it was 5 months out of inspection date and sounded terrible. First room we had smelled like pee. After switching rooms key card failed to open door multiple times. The desk staff was amazing though

We happen to live in Athens, but we were having renovations done to our house so we didn’t have a bathroom. This hotel was very friendly. The bed was very very comfortable to shower was excellent. The food in the morning was outrageous. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

From the area and pictures it looked like a great affordable place to stay. Upon arrival I didn’t have a good feeling about it. My bed had stains on the comforter. The room had a smell to it. I checked in at 3pm and checked out at 6pm. I could not stay there.

There was trim hanging off the walls, the shower drain was not secured because the screws were broken off and sticking up & when I stepped on it it flipped off and my toes went down the drain, the exhaust fan was held in by two screws hanging out the sheet rock ceiling & the elevator was expired since November of 2023. Was not a good stay at all

The entire property is old and needs updating. The wi-fi was horrible and kept cutting off. The key cards kept failing. Had to go downstairs probably 5 times to get one of the cards reprogrammed so we could get back into our room. The staff was wonderful and super friendly but overall the property really needs an upgrade.
