Comfortable, clean room. Great value. Big clean pool. Second stay here and will definitely return.

A surprisingly comfortable stay at a price 1/3 of the big name hotels. Great location. Quiet. Owner is a very nice gentleman.

Hotel Manager at front desk was lovely! Very professional, ready! He was Kind, welcoming and respectful ! A teal pleasure to interact with him!

I found this place to provide a good value for the budget traveler and in particular someone needing a place on short notice. The employee or perhaps the manager or owner at the front desk was quite friendly. The bed was comfortable, and room quiet, or at least quiet for being there off season (there were only a few cars in the parking lot the night that I visited). However, this is an older motel, and has its limitations even if its kept up as well...

Remember those motels you stayed in on family vacations as a kid in the 70s? Well, maybe you don't. But this is like that. Small rooms, family run, dated but clean. There's a pool, and a park with tennis courts next door. And the center of Lee is in walking distance. This is a good, reasonably priced choice in the Berkshires.

Very pleasant stay at an upgraded “old school” motel. Manager was very friendly and they obviously take very good care of the property. It was a good deal for a busy weekend going to Tanglewood, which was a quick drive away. Also they are right next door to an excellent diner. Recommend!

For an inexpensive, bare bones motel in Lee, MA, the Sunset Inn is very satisfactory. The room is quite small and it's a little shabby but very clean and everything worked, including wifi, the AC, the frig and microwave (I didn't use that, but assume.) I liked that I could open the window in the back for fresh air. I wish the AC had been turned on before I came. The air freshener or cleaning product didn't smell good. Even though there is a nice breakfast restaurant next door (didn't go there) and a Dunkin' a block away, coffee in room or the office would be nice. The pool looked beautiful but too chilly for a morning swim. Overall, good place and nice owners.

Clean

I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. It was as advertised- we found it clean, exactly what we needed- we had requested a K bed but ended up with a Q based on what was available. Appreciated no minimum stay required and cancelation could be done. Location was good. Price was right. Very nice person who checked us in.

We could have gotten a nicer place-sunnier, etc. To b truthful, we got what we pd for.

Rooms were old, tired, dirty and not kept up. Cancelled reservation after seeing dirty pillow cases on bed. Management refunded my charge.

Just right for what we needed. Friendly management. Convenient and pleasant back off the road with lots of green space to help provide quiet.

One of the friendliest receptionists I have ever encountered anywhere. For an old fashion, roadside motels, this place was exceptional. Loved being able to park right in front of the door to my room.
