Amazing one night stay in the beach bungalow! Felt like we were in a boathouse as it sat overlooking the lagoon! Beautiful nature, very peaceful and stunning views of the ocean! Huge comfortable bed, very clean and loved the massive bath to soak in after a long day!

It was my husbands bday, so they had indicated we would receive a villa with ocean views. We did, but it was further back and we could really see more villas in front of us with small glances of the ocean. So that’s why I gave it a 3. I think if we had of stayed in the bungalows, it was a 4/5 rating. We then stayed at a place on the entrance and when I told them it was my husbands bday, they gave us a bottle of wine and a gift pack of snacks. Very nice. Caves did nothing, but that’s OK, I wasn’t expecting anything. But it is lovely when a hotel delights and surprises. The villa we had was lovely inside. Two rooms with two king beds and two bathrooms. Very spacious. But it was freezing in the bedrooms. There was a gas heater and air conditioner in the lounge room (which was great) but we were freezing when you closed the doors to the bedrooms. Plus the light came in through the blinds, so little chance for a sleep in. Bit that’s being fussy. If you want a place with large beds and lots of room, then this is perfect. There is no breakfast available, if you have an IGA near plus a lovely cafe. You’re also only a walk to caves beach, so that’s great.

The bungalow we stayed in was absolutely first class.There was no breakfast offer which was disappointing and at dinner no quiet area if you are hard of hearing

The property needs a lot of upgrading as the buildings are very rusted. The room could of had a toaster in it. Otherwise i quite pleasant stay

Great spot for a weekend away. The winter sun warmed up the room in the morning and sitting on the deck was lovely. The staff were exceptionally good with their service and generosity. We enjoyed Sunday lunch with family and friends and wished we’d stayed another night.

We love staying here. Its just a shame to see the maintenance of the accommodation and restaurant not maintain a clean and up to date presence. Rusted/mouldy Bangalows. Cobwebs all over the windows if you look up. Its just a shame to see the place in its prime condition (i got married here) not to this standard.

Enjoyed our stay, place was clean and comfy, and close to the beach. Food next door was great, and staff were nice. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I liked the service and how easy and quick it was to check in . Also the room was very clean the shower was very nice and spacious . It was a very nice peaceful place to spend my night . Couldn’t fault the room one bit . And the surroundings with the beach in the background also was very lovely to be able to have such a great view .

Great location, lovely to look out over their wetlands to the ocean, beautiful walk along the beach to cave and yummy breaky at the surf club. Good to have dining option onsite after a big days drive.

Rude staff

Really disappointed in our stay recently. The photos of the property looked beautiful and we were let down from the beginning. Upon entry to the room we found a cockroach on the ground and the looking around the room we found a massive white tip spider and other spider nests. Curtains and shutters were moldy and unclean. We were offered another room (16) and were swarmed by bugs lingering around outside of room. We chose to keep current room (10) and asked if they could removed spider, which they did. The staff were very nice and understanding. After settling in we started to notice more things that were very unclean but our biggest complaint was the carpet, I think it is 2 years past due for a deep clean. We went out to dinner at the restaurant onsite. Beef Nachos were amazing Tacos were small and disappointing Scotch fillet steak medium rare was chewy and difficult to cut. Applied pie dessert was tasty. Walking back to the room proved very difficult with no actual lights lighting up. We had to resort to our phone lights trying not to trip. Overall very disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room. Especially being this is a 4 star hotel and costs over $350 a night.

Loved this hotel! Gorgeous location, no kids allowed, lovely waterfront location with lots of ducks hanging out. Lovely & very spacious room. Big bathroom. Comfy large bed. Fabulous room amenities. Will return! More gluten free options at the restaurant would be appreciated.

Truely lovely design. Unfortunately showing some outward signs of wear. Staff helpful. Bed mattress needs replacing in cabin 3..otherwise lovely.

No doors on the toilet or shower . The room smelled damp and mouldy. The buildings are rusty , maintenance is required.
