Hotel staff took more money around Rs1200 for changing the building. They told the one we booked is old building / but on your website , the pics belong to the new building. THey charged extra for the upgrade. Its shear cheating .I will never come to this Hotel again. The working chair in messy condition/TORN s it its from second hand market. pls see the pics.attached for ROom 414./new building Internet is sucks./

Staff were helpful. Pool is a nice feature in this crazy Indian heat. Breakfast was really good but service at the breakfast could improve as I had to ask for things more than once at couple of instances. Hotel is in a central location, which is close to the railway station and I would recommend staying here and will stay here again myself if ever in LK

Comfortable stay, good food, courteous staff !! Area is undergoing Metro works, hence access is troublesome...

It wasn't a bad stay. Breakfast and room service was good. Since it is located in the heart of city, commute becomes easy!

Great experience excellent property but aircondtion didn’t work well so as room refrigerator that’s it rest everything was excellent.

Stayed for 2 nights on a business trip. It was a comfortable stay with limited but good buffet breakfast

It is situated in a congested area. It’s not fit for a business person or a tourist.

When the driver first was pulling close to the Golden Tulip he pullled over to a hotel a little before it. There is construction going on so it was a little confusing. I was at first very worried. It did not look like the photos. I thought oh no expedia was wrong I am not going to like this at all. Turns out he was in the wrong spot. When we did pull into the right hotel it was exactly like the photos. Crisis averted. The lobby is very nice and classy. A great way to start the week. This was my fist trip to India. I have read other peoples experiences about India and they have said it is a bit overwhelming. That was very true for me. So many things going on. The great thing about this hotel is when you are On the grounds or in the hotel the world just seems to slow down a bit and let you catch your breath. It really allows you to get a way from all the noise and hustle. It was a quick check in. The lady at the front even upgraded us to a room in the new tower. In reading other reviews it seems that's where you want to be. Every one was so nice and helpful. Always opening doors and answering questions. Just so friendly. The room was a decent size but I really liked how well the a/c worked. The mattress was a little soft but I didn't really mind since every thing else was so perfect. Ive looked at other hotels even the more expensive ones, but I really couldn't imagine staying any where but The Golden Tulip. Just a really great experience all around.

Amazing experiences. This is great time I had as I came for my interviewe so had a very relaxing time before the day of interview Thank you making it awesome and easier and comfortable. Hope to come here again.

Nice hotel in the centre noisy area Bathroom was flooded needs proper drainage value for money

My maiden trip to lucknow was disappointing as hotel GOLDEN TULIP took one hour for check in as room was not ready even after reservation and advance payment.........very terrible view from the hotel room only filth and dirt. Room was nice but corridors was again dirty and this is more because of guests who need to learn how to keep the premises and common area clean, i never had experience when people make too much of noise..........in hotel. food was ok...this is happening in lucknow city which is known for nazakat and nice hospitality

The hotel is well located close to the city centre. The hotel is spread in two building with reception n most of the facilities in one building and rooms in adjacent building which are not interconnected. Other than that the room are clean good and comfortable. linen, bathroom tea bar everything is good. staff is courteous and cheerful.
