Shower and bed good Three flights of stairs did not suit us with a full suitcase!! A few sheets of toilet paper for two people is not sufficient!!

Lake Forbes Motel serves a purpose. Stop and go... the property is old and does need maintenance, but it's fine for an overnight stay. It's been 3 years since we last stayed here and it's definitely worse for wear!

Sorry, I give it to you 1 but its actually -0. Awful experience and bonus of this tory is they stole my perfume. I arrived on Monday at 3 pm. From 8 am until 5 pm next day I was at work and they clean my room (I don't know what for because i was in the room for less than a day). When I found someone stole the perfume owner said just check your bags its maybe there. After that situation they stop cleaning my room for another 3 days. They don't have gel shower in the rooms only hair condition, no blanket, flat, thing pillows, noisy, messy, super old. Highly, super highly I'm NOT RECOMMED YOU this place. I'm ok with old style or no gel shower or pillows but when people steal something its huge concern for me. Very sad.

My room no was 20 at the end corner/ 1. No staff in reception to check in, u need to figure out how to call staff while u already in reception. 2. They have free wifi, only to show. Never works. I need to upload data from field and need to have stable connection for Remote Desktop connection, really regret booking this hotel. I explained my problem to reception guy but no solution and no apology. 3. Everything can be heard what’s going on next room and room upstairs. 4. Very big noises of vehicles, u can’t sleep well if u r not drunk. 5. Not enough onsite parking. 6. Room musty smell. 6. Leaking taps. Many more you will find

Rating was very misleading. I don’t know how people rated it 10/10 unless they were false ratings. Very basic motel. More like a backpackers.

Air conditioner would not heat, ambient temperature outside that evening was 4 deg. Complained in the morning and requested refund - not given. Wouldnt put my cat in this place.

The room was clean, and beds firm. If you are just looking for place to sleep this is it. Comfort on a budget. The TV just displayed the local channels. The AC was not Reverse Cycle. But across the road was a park for the kids to play in. It was just a hop across the river to get into the town centre. There is a small pool on the grounds. But I slept very well. Refreshed and ready for a long day on a motorcycle.

The room had a bad smell and the taps in the shower and sink ran all night. Also the people upstairs were very loud. Good location but not great to stay.

Absolutely terrible. Would not recommend. Lady at the front counter rang me at 4:30 while I was still driving and threatened to cancel our booking. When we arrived she was rude to us. The room was terrible and not very clean. The aircon was disgusting and my partner and I were both sneezing the whole night and the rest of the next day. The room did not look like the photos. This was a very negative experience and I tried to get a refund however I wasn’t successful

Nice lake side location but noisy old rattler aircon and defective telly. Pretty close to the Newel highway so pretty loud truck noise through the night.

Our overnight stay at Forbes was fine we expected a standard motel room & thats what we got. It was clean & the beds were comfortable. The heating worked fine however there was no heating in the bathroom the tiled floor was freezing & the bathroom was extremely cold forst thing in the morning👍

Called on Wednesday to pay prior and was told it was done from a company card …Get there Saturday and was charged on the spot from a personal card which left me out of pocket for the weekend and until I could chase up …. They told me that I should chase up the booking company or claim it back however I was still out of pocket til that could be done .. Then after more pressing to say you said it was sorted three days prior then was told ‘not understanding what you are saying … not sure as we cannot do that’. Totally poor customer service and don’t think I will return there

We only had one night here but it was easy to find and the family room was spacious and clean. Everything we needed!

Really basic facilities, uninterested check in staff

It was old and out of date. The air on/ heater was 40 years old and did not hear the room. It was 4 degrees overnight and we froze. The bathroom sink was stained and gave the impression that it was dirty. There was only a double bed which was uncomfortable and hard. Overall not impressed wouldn’t stay there again.

The room was small and noisy with an old style air con that had seen better days. The bathroom was dated and small. Seven steps up from ground with no lighting. Old furnishing both in the rooms and lying around outside. The beef was an old inner Spring that was not comfortable. Very difficulty to move around in the small bathroom. Not disability friendly at all.

Room was clean..booked on the way there..left early. Very convenient all round..😃😃

Check in was cheerful and helpful

From the moment we arrived Colin was very accommodating and friendly. We had 2 vehicles with trailers and Colin went out of his way to make sure we didn't have to park on the street even though we were happy too. The room was clean and tidy. Very professional place and we would stay again for sure.
