The villas are fully self-sufficient and provide a nice base to explore Agnes Water. Excellent staff and service and a lovely relaxed vibe!

The staff at this property were the friendliest that we have ever stayed with. Couldn’t do enough for us! The dining was above all else in Agnes also.

Absolutely fantastic place. Modern spacious and made the end of our Australian trip the best part. Really relaxing and set in beautiful grounds. The food at the restaurant/ cafe was also top notch. Didn’t want to leave!

Excellent location friendly staff and comfortable villas

Our stay was very pleasant. Beautifully designed cabins and very modern decor. The owners were very nice. The grounds were like being in a tropical paradise. It’s a short drive to the beach but the the accommodations made up for it. I would definitely stay there again. 1770 and Agnes Water are lovely small towns.

1770 Getaway is a great place to stay whilst visiting Agnes Water/ 1770. Its located just outside Agnes Water set in beautiful gardens with its own coffee shop and only a few units. We first stayed here in 2008 and found that what had then been a work in progress is now fully matured and a credit to its owners. The units are the same as they were in 2008 but have clearly recently been renovated and refitted to a high standard. Our unit was very comfortable, perfect for a couple. There are plenty of things to do in the immediate area, if simply enjoying the wonderful beaches and the little gem that is 1770 is not enough. We went on a LARC tour to Bustard Head lighthouse and would recommend anyone to do the same. If you wish to learn to surf, go fishing or visit the reef these and other options are available. We mixed eating out with self catering but there are plenty of choices if you prefer to eat out all of the time. Go to Agnes Water/1770 and stay at 1770 Getaway, you wont regret it.

Beautiful room very peacefull and private, high light of our stay was this place as it was raining the hole time we were there, didnt want to go home so comfortable.

Fabulous setting in beautiful gardens. Vera, the owner, was helpful and informative (Lovely coffee!). Very quiet, we only booked two nights but wished we could have stayed longer.

From the minute we arrived, we could not fault the friendly and professional service. The villa was spacious with modern fittings and set amongst a relaxing rainforest setting - the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the lamb roast and wood-fired pizza for dinner and the cheesecake dessert was divine. Will definitely be back for a visit in future.

Lovely spot a few minutes out of town. Villa looked and felt brand new, super clean and would stay there again.Had lunch around at the cafe and dinner for their lamb roast which was divine. Would suit couples or fiends looking for a quiet getaway.

It would suite a back packer but for the cost it was not considered to be suitable.High cost back packer resort and self catering not emphasized.Many of the items were found operational but there was a bad smell coming out of the couch.No dish rack was supplied.The on-suite bath room had no door.There was not bath in either of the two bath rooms.No bath mats were supplied.Most of the blinds were either damaged or not function properly.The local restaurant was going to close at 17h30. To early for convenience of guests.No breakfast is offered on Saturday morning as the restaurant does not open on Saturday.
