Our stay in the river view studio cottage was excellent. The cottage has recently been renovated and was very comfortable and clean and the bed amazingly comfortable. Narelle is a lovely friendly host. Looking forward to visiting again.

Very friendly staff. Renovations added double glazing that cuts down on traffic noise. Free laundry. Beautiful grounds beside the river.

The cottage is located in a beautiful environment. Everywhere is like a picture. The owner lady is very friendly and responds to our query timely. The kitchen appliances are quite new and clean. Overall it is a nice stay in this cottage.

This place is a hidden gem! It is much nicer than the pictures show. It’s clean, neat and the location is right on the river which is peaceful and calming. I will definitely stay here again. What a surprising tranquil beautiful place

great location to stay

We have an excellent time there. We had this wonderful view of the river, just in front of our windows, and it was so relaxing during our stay up there. The cottage has a complete kitchen, and Narelle was so nice in lending us a bigger pan to cook some pasta recipe. We had a visit of a flock of wild ducks, and a couple of galahs. We did some kayaquing, and it was really fun!

EXCELLENT communications. I had issues getting there from Narooma, NSW via the snowy mountains in winter). The owner was very supportive and texted me to check I was coming. My booking was non-refundable, but the owner was willing to accept cancellation, which is something Hotels.com will not do. And I admire integrity in a business. The couple welcomed me and helped me with information getting home. It was, on top of this, a beautiful little cottage with a little lake all of its own out back. Perfect for a winter get away..or summer. If you go anywhere near Bright or the Myrtleford area, this is your place to stay.

Loved this beautiful property. 10 mins drive to Bright and 20 mins to Mount Buffalo, yet avoids all of the hectic crowds. We stayed in a Riverview room that was clean,spacious, with cooking facilities. If you do not intend to make your own food, I would recommend staying in a standard room, as they are nice and modern yet a little cheaper. The hosts were simply lovely and went over and above to make our stay comfortable, with little touches like having the heater on so our room was warm upon check in.They even let us borrow their bikes to ride to the local winery for a tasting and to explore Porpunkah!The river views from the property are gorgeous, and there are plenty of chairs to take these in. Highly recommended, hope to stay again soon.

The grounds are so shady and you can sit out the back by the river or swim.We booked a Mt Buffalo room which I have to say was one of the cleanest room I’ve stayed in anywhere in the world!The bed was fine, the pillows lovely and the little sink area had all we needed. Narelle (owner) offered and drove us to the wedding and picked us up to save us walking in our good gear, even though it was in walking distance so a lovely gesture. I noticed there is bike storage and the Rail Trail is on the opposite side of the road so only a short ride/drive to Porepunkah. If it wasn’t for the wedding we would not have stayed here as we only live an hour away but would definitely stay again.

The room lighting was superb! Excellent for reading, cooking, etc in room. The riverside location was great. Hot water was plentiful.

Waking up to a riverside view was lovely and relaxing and a peaceful morning walk by the river just made our experience even better. Rooms are clean, warm (with heating) and provides you with all the basic things you need in the kitchenette. Owners are lovely and went above and beyond in making our stay a pleasurable one. Would definitely go back.
