Amazing stay with the grandson, easy to get around from the hotel, close to pick up points for trips around the city. Walking distance to Schindler’s factory and Hero square. Chocolate shop inside was a great touch.

Excellent hotel! But I didn’t like that they outsourced their swimming pool so anyone from the street can book it leaving no options for hotel residents to book a swimming pool. I stayed several days and pool was booked for one week upfront! I specifically booked this hotel to use the pool after extremely long travel and get rid of tension in a lower back after 19 hours flight and airport time!

We were in the business suite (or one bedroom apartment - description varies by site) and it was superb, with a lovely river view. Clean, spacious, robes and slippers, full range of toiletries, value-for-money minibar, and excellent (if small) pool/sauna, etc. We didn't try the restaurant or spa facilites, but the breakfast buffet was very good and the bar was very reasonably priced. The old town was a 20 minute walk away (if happy to walk through back streets) or 40 minutes if walking along the Vistula - there's a tram stop nearby though. All-in-all, excellent value for money - I'd definitely stay here again.

Very good location, close to the market where you can eat, go to the cinema or do some shopping, literally 3 minutes on foot.. It's about 25 minutes on foot to the center and the market square, but you can see a lot along the way.. It's good that it's not in the center. because it's quiet and people don't move around

Nice and clean. Close (15min walk) to the Jewish area (very nice restaurants and bars) but a bit far from the city center. A mall is very close (3 min walk). However, the staff could use a smile and be a bit more polite. But this seems to be a cultural thing since not many Polish people smile and do small talk with tourist.
The reception should still think about this as taking on many international tourists.
The Pool & SPA is OK. But the lady in the reception of the spa was very rude, did not even give us towels, so had to go back and ask for it.
She also asked us to pay to buy spa slippers and was overall anything but concerned about the guest comfortability and happiness.

The staff was very rude and uncouth at the reception desk. Especially the female staff. I tried to leave a list of sites for Schindlers list and the night staff wanted it and the next morning the woman at the front desk gave me soo much lip about it I could not believe it! First she said I may need it and I'm like, duhh I created it for you, then she says they didnt tell her about it and I'm like oh my god woman just give to to the people that are there at night so you all can explain to tourist where certain interesting Schindler's list sites are.
The customer service in Poland is the worse! I could not believe how rude the females were at the front desk. All they wanted to do was say "no" or we "we don't know" or "we don't have". This hotel needs to seriously train the staff on how to communicate properly and provide customer service at the highest level!

The hotel was just off of the central historic area, on the river, and on the corner of the Jewish Quarter - full of great restaurants. The location was good with plenty of sites to visit around it.
The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and the stay was enjoyable.
The spa was relaxing and the breakfast was un-hurried with plenty of choice.

I enjoyed the gluten free options on the menu the wheel chair access for my father.
It was very disappointing that only 1 channel on the tv (CNN) was in English; then thevlast 4 days of my visit, CNN was no longer available. There was no option for netflix, amazon prime etc.. I spoke to the ladies at the front desk about this, and they said that there isn't anyhing that they can do about it.

This was a family trip with my 6 year old son and elderly mother. The staff were ok at check in however later on our arrival day the staff were absolutely unprofessional, treated us like they didn’t think we should have been guests. I had asked for some milk for my son (a cup/glass) and was given various responses and finally that it was not included in the amenities. However, if that was the case, why would they put coffee/tea in the room with a kettle? On day 2, we left for our tour early morning and on return after a long day, the room was attended by housekeeping as they changed the floor towel in bathroom however did not tidy up the room or provided some new towels. I took a picture and showed to the receptionist staff and they had to get someone to go and tidy up the room. Generally, it’s not a place I’d recommend to anyone! The staff were rude and discriminated against me and my family. They should put on their website “white European/white Other” only! Absolutely horrible accommodation and I was truly disappointed!

Stayed in one of the Suites which was extremely well laid out and had everything we could want - with a lovely view of the river.
The pool and leisure facilities were great - just right for relaxing before going out for dinner.
The hotel has such a wide variety of places to eat within a 30 minute walk, and great transport links nearby.
Would highly recommend the Galaxy, and will definitely stay again if in Krakow.
