Property was lovely and great value for money. The beds were changed everyday and the views over the lake were incredible!!! The breakfast was good with enough options to keep most people happy. Can’t complain at all about the stay. The view is what made it for us!

No AC in the room they gave me. Nice that they did book and send me to another hotel in the area. Not nice that I had to drive into the other hotel at 10:00pm at night

Old outdated hotel. In very bad conditions. Room very old. Hotel very old and lobby smells like black mould. Breakfast mainly cakes. The view is though amazing.

The hotel has been left without even the very essential basic maintenance. Very run down and sad to see how no effort has been made. This is the furthest thing from a 4 star hotel and the price is a total rip off. Honestly worst hotel I’ve been to, and I’ve traveled 15 years for a living.

The restaurant staff was very polite and helpful, however unfortunately this is the only good point. It’s hard to believe this hotel is considered 4 star... it’s in an utter state of disrepair and decay. The stairs had been peed on by a dog, carpet is filthy and stained, same as everything in room with damaged floor, chipped walls, damaged furniture, curtains with actual holes, and à terribly old and uncomfortable bed (two singles joined together with a large gap in the middle. The shower reminds me of a cruise ship, except smaller. The worst is the noisy road in front of this hotel which is a never ending symphony of motorcycles and cars reving their engines as they pass the stop lights. The food was so salty and pain we had to send it back... the staff in the restaurant was understanding and replaced our dish. I’m shocked by this hotel... it need a LOT of repair and better management. 4 stars is a joke, seriously.

Water in shower came out black. This hotel need to be updated

Good location next to Arona, stayed 1 night, rooms clean but tired, could do with updating, decorating. Breakfast ok, not great.

Hotel is located in nice spot with the lake view from half of the rooms. Way in to the Arona center is really bad.. Sidewalk where there is no lights at the night time is narrow, so you need to be really careful when walking back in to the hotel, because cars are over speeding right next to you. Hotel in general is straight from the 80's, but is mainly in good condition and everything works. Rooms are outdated and air conditioning system makes awful noise, so you cannot keep it running in the night. Room cleaning is also strange, because all rooms will be cleaned even though you would not like to have it some days. There is no possibility to hang do not disturb-sign at your door. Breakfast is really basic, but if you like cakes or donuts this is heaven for you. Everything in breakfast is just lifted from the self, so there is nothing warm which would involve cook - you need to even boil eggs by yourself. When I checked out, reception person tried to re-charge my stay, even though I had paid my room in advantage. Happily I noticed this charge from my credit card and we managed to settle this at the hotel. When I got the money back in cash(!), I left with the feeling that that was somehow my fault and she didn't even bothered to apologize what happened.

We read reviews some of which weren't very good but we found the exact opposite. Staff that couldn't do enough for you and our room was very good. I can only assume that some people want the world for nothing, as such we were on holiday, so the room was to sleep in with a view over the lake, the bar was to drink in at the end of the day and the restaurant was very good indeed. Car park good and generally a good hotel that doesn't cost the earth within easy reach of everywhere. We'll be back.

The hotel is on the edge of town away from the noise and bustle of activity. The vista from the window is unparalleled

Short walk into Arona. Plenty of local coffee bars and restaurants. Nice lake views from hotel.

Been there before, and the hotel may not be the newest and the most fancy, but the location is fantastic. Waking up to the view of the lake and the Alps is breathtaking.

Excellent views, walking distance from town and station. Great local market. Continental breakfast with superb range of home made pastries and cakes. Staff so helpful at all times, aiming to ensure customer satisfaction. Hotel is a little dated in décor but this did not affect our stay. Although situate on a road, the double glazing ensured any outside noise was eliminated.

I made a mistake with this choice. The hotel feels like it hasn't been given much attention since the late 80's. It was inexpensive, the bed was comfortable and the view out the window can't be beat. But, the bathroom was a bit scary, the breakfast was pitiful and the place was dead. They didn't even set up or wipe down the plastic furniture on my balcony. I also didn't realize that despite being a walkable distance from the train station, the route is not really walkable. You have to risk walking from the end of town along a busy highway for 100 m to get to the hotel.
