Pleasant enough for price. Didn’t see anyone while we were there! Easy instructions and room
Clean and tidy. Some nice touches of milk and coffee machine.

Well stocked room - coffee, tea, toiletries etc. Mini fridge with ice cold water. Bed was super comfy. Plenty of parking. Hosts were very helpful.

Easy to locate and park. Allowed for later checkout. Welshcakes, wine, bottled water, tea, hot chocolate and coffee making facilities. Clean and neat. Good shower. Thank you.

A gem of a guest house with an easy check in and check out. Coveniently located near to Tenby and Saundersfoot. Beautiful welcoming touch, with the bottle of wine and pack of Welsh cakes. Definitely reccommend a stay and intend to go bzck ourselves. Thank you Sandyhill.

The Sandy Hill Guest House is perfectly located for visiting Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme Park. The room was a good enough size for me and my 13 year old son. The decor is modern but a little tired. The tea, coffee (plus coffee machine), welsh cakes, milk and bottle of wine laid out for us went above and beyond. My only criticism is that the other rooms were obviously occupied by a group and on our first night there was lots of chatting on the landing and moving between rooms, and on the second night they returned at 1.30am which set of the owners dog who then barked for about 15 mins. It would be great if each room could have a 'do not disturb' sign like in a hotel so you know other people are also staying. We would definitely return despite this because the location was so good.

Our hostess was excellent, she really looked after us and made us very welcome

Very easy check in, we arrived an hour early and the room was ready and waiting for us. The complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge and the welshcakes were a lovely gesture. There are bags for recycling on thr landing. Depite the guest house being on the main Narbeth road we didnt really hear any noise from the traffic. A great little guest house

Flexible check in / out time was very nice .Having a mini fridge in my room was helpful !Issues w/ taxi. A very good place for people hired cars to stay at ! Taxi takes 20 to 30 min.to come sometimes. If taxis come from other places like Tenby ,they charge traveling fee ( as everywhere does ) .There was some exposed wall in a closet in my rm. I was concerned if bugs ,or rats would come in ,didn't .Nice shower ,but molds in the corner of the base of the shower ! A little bit.Red wine in the fridge ,great for wine lovers ! Welsh cakes & teas .Not a good place for light sleepers as it's next to a street cars going fast !

The place was very clean, nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and the location was very good to reach all of the beaches and some very nice restaurants. We were also very pleased with the strong wifi connection.

We booked the guest-house last minute as a anniversary trip to Saundersfoot and the guest house was situated local to both saundersfoot and Tenby with cheap taxi (less than £10) from ‘Gabs Cabs’ to travel to the town if you didn’t fancy driving. The hosts were easily contactable and so friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and hosts offered complimentary towels, toiletries and refreshments throughout the stay. We look forward to staying again at SandyHill Guesthouse for our next trip to Tenby.

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The tea/coffee and drinks facilities were good and refills available in the hall way or on the table on the landing.
The small fridge in the room was a great help as it was very hot out and the bottle of wine was a nice touch.
The only negative I can give was that the shower cubical was small.( I'm over 6 feet tall and it was a bit of a tight fit)
It's about a 20 min walk into Saundersfoot itself along a narrow road but it is down hill and about £6 for a taxi back.

It wasn’t quite what we were expecting but it was clean, it had plenty of facilities ie kettle, fridge, on suite. A generous spread of tea and coffee with lots of other bits, even an Easter egg for my daughter.
The proprietor was very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect to just hope in the car and go wherever with good road links.
The local beaches and parks are amazingly beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as long as you don’t mind a slightly uncomfortable mattress.

Absolutely amazing! I could write a book about how lovely, caring and kind the staff and sandy hill guest house are. It was my partners 21st and had asked them for a special touch to the room but I did not expect the amount of time and effort that they had put into it. Check out the photos of what an amazing job they did to our room. I know of no where that would go to the extent they have done.

Good little Guest house recently refurbished, Good beds, is on the main Narbeth Tenby Road Ideally situated for Tenby 2.5 miles away. early traffic noise for light sleepers if windows open when warm, slept in the Ground Floor room, Found one of the Downsides was a bench in front of the window, where people Smoked, only had one instance of noise, but to be honest we found it a little intrusive, Great free touches of water and a bottle of wine in the fridge, complimentary toiletries, we had a problem of the TV only having a few channels, The owner sorted it the next day got more channels on the TV, but unfortunately the channels kept saying No Input Data, suspect an Aerial issue, Free Wi-Fi. All in All a comfortable pleasant stay, value for money.

When I stay away it's always about the bed for me & how clean the room is. Our room was spotless & all the bed were extremely comfy. Lovely little guest house. Free parking & the tassimo coffee machine were a bonus. Our 1st time away with our youngest, he is very busy & up at the crack of dawn too. For me personally I've learnt a hotel of guest house isn't suitable for him. But that's nothing on the owners or the place its just a learning curve for myself. Id love to come back either on my own or with my eldest though & have been looking already. Close to saundersfoot shops & a stunning beach. Some lovely places to have food also. Overall a brilliant place to stay
Thank

Overall the stay was fantastic for the price we paid. The owner was welcoming and generous with coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable and fridge was of useable size. Would definitely recommend this place to stay if you’re visiting Tenby as it is only a 5/10 minute drive away.

Good communication from the owner who helped clarify that they do have one, and only one, dog friendly room, and that this was the one that I had booked. The guest house is well located just off a fairly main road. This meant that it was easy to find and in a useful location for walking into town, but did mean a lot of road noise during the day with the window open. The owner was very welcoming upon arrival and let me find somewhere to safely store my bike. The downstairs, dog friendly room was spacious, and well furnished and had clearly recently been refurbished to a good standard. The coffee machine was a very welcome addition, and the fridge was well stocked and we were given a delicious packet of Welsh cakes too. The bed was comfy and the room well equipped. Some of the refurbishments appeared to have a DIY feel to them, with a few screws missing in the light switches, a bathroom door that didn’t close properly, and a hole in the bathroom ceiling where the new light switches were fitted. This did not negatively impact the stay at all, but could do with being looked at.. My only other suggestion would be the potential addition of blackout blinds or curtains as I found the existing blinds let in a lot of light from passing cars etc. All in all, a lovely stay.

We stayed for two nights and had an enjoyable stay. The room was a really good size and the beds so comfortable. Loved all the little touches - like the toiletries in the bathroom and the bottles of water, milk and wine in the room’s mini fridge. Greatly appreciated. The guest house is in an ideal location to explore and we took trips to the centre of Saundersfoot, as well as Tenby. Only negative - if you can call it that - was the checkout process. We weren’t really told what to do so left the keys in the box we got them from at check in. Instructions for the tassimo machine would also be ideal - we have a Nespresso at home so couldn’t use it.

It was basic but very clean. Lovely welcome, the owner was great throughout our stay.
Lovely little complimentary additions, which we didn't expect.
Brilliant value for money.
Only downside was the noise as it was on a busy main road, no a missive issue but it was noisy.
Could do with a lerger TV in the room also.
I would 100% stay again.

My family had a wonderful few days away at Sandyhill Guest House. The family room was excellent (2 adults and 2 children and still plenty of room). The fridge is a nice touch. Very handy. The beds are very comfortable.
The hosts were 2nd to none. Very helpful, informative, nothing was too much to ask and we were made very welcome. If you are looking for a place in and around Saundersfoot / Tenby then you won't go wrong booking here.

Room was very clean and we were made very welcome on arrival it is very nice place to stay the only thing was we arrived on the Thursday evening on the friday morning we went down to breakfast to be told they do not do breakfast and have never done breakfast but when I booked on the web site it stated breakfast was in with the price as I had a 5 year old with me who eats breakfast every morning I had to go and try and find somewhere to eat when I booked the one thing I looked for was we didn't have to rush out anywhere for breakfast before we set out for the day I could have booked some were cheaper or I would have payed more for a somewhere which done breakfast I hope the owners look at the website and amend it as this is very misleading I was in a position I could go out and get breakfast some people may not account for the extra money they may have to spend so please amend.
